Formosa Winery Tasting House

I had an amazing brunch at Island Grove on a Saturday! We sat outside, and the outdoor seating was beautiful- such a relaxing atmosphere. The inside of the winery is just as charming, with two stories and a super cute, fun décor, plus a full bar. I had the house salad with grilled chicken ($22), and it was fresh and delicious! My friends had the chicken and waffles ($22) and eggs Florentine ($19), which they also loved. It's a bit pricier, but the quality and freshness of the food made it worth it.The drink menu was so fun, with options ranging from $14-$16. We tried a few seasonal mimosas, the "Tickle Me Pink," and the "Mer-Mosa," and the edible glitter was such a fun touch! The service was fantastic- very friendly and attentive.Overall, I had a great experience. While the surrounding area isn't the most exciting, this winery is definitely a stand-out, and I highly recommend it!

So we going out this isn't an actual winery that it's a "tasting house!" But I still got a little ounce of going to a winery by going here & loved it! You can buy this card & put however much $ you want and then get as many wines as you want on it! Also this place isn't open at night. Only a lunch & brunch spot. I would definitely get married here if I could because it's pretty! The food is good! The patio is dog friendly !!! I love this spot

It was my first time attending but definitely will not be my last. The weather was nice enough to sit outside. Brunch was delicious and the view was breathtaking. The wine selections were great as well. Can't wait to go back and try more!

Island Grove is my favorite wine so definitely wanted to check it out because of that. As you'll see in other reviews, it's not a true winery experience but rather more of a restaurant where you can taste wines or have fun drinks and good food. You can load money onto a card and do the self pour wine tasting option or they have lots of drinks on their menu too. We did the wine pour option and sat outside on the patio because it was dog friendly. Food came out quickly, it's really nice outside and cute inside. Everything is a little pricey, including the bottles of wine they sell to-go. Lots of big groups there for birthdays and saw a proposal. Good spot overall if you don't mind spending a bit more.

What a cute brunch spot! My friend found this place on Instagram, so when I was in the area, I knew where we had to meet for lunch. I was able to make a reservation on Open Table, and I had the option of booking a standard table, high top, bar, or outside. We opted for outside and glad we did! It was cool out, but the seating was completely covered and shaded. Shade is so important for most months in Florida! I saw the Christmas sangria ornament on their Instagram and asked if they still had it, a few days after the holidays. To my luck, they did! I ordered the Everything Pretzel for the table to share, and the shrimp and grits as my entree. Everything tasted wonderful, including the sangria. The rest of my group ordered the chicken and waffles and the flat bread and everyone enjoyed their meal. Our server was pleasant and efficient. It was not busy when we arrived but the tables, indoors and outdoors, filled up quick. Our check was $97 with the tip for 1 beer, 1 sangria, 1 pretzel and 2 entrees. I would come back next time I'm in Kissimmee.

We came to Formosa for my sister's birthday brunch, and was very happily surprised by the delicious food and the venue itself which is large and open with lots of seating on the second floor patio, as well as a large outdoor dog friendly seating area. We had several items, including the chicken and waffles, flatbread, steak and eggs and the cheddar omelette. Everyone enjoyed the food, we also had several breakfast mimosas which were delicious. We weren't too impressed with the wine pours, pretty pricey for the small amount of wine, but otherwise it was a good experience.

I had a really good time here at Island Grove Wine Company. I made reservations for a Sunday Brunch. The ambiance here is beautiful. There is both inside and outside seating and it looks like a great place to host a dinner party event. I ordered the pink flamingo mimosa to start then later decided to get the wine card for $21 that way I can sample some of the wines. They were also handing out samples of one of their dessert wines. For food I ordered the shrimp and grits, which was delicious. This was a great laid back brunch experience. The customer service was great I will definitely be coming back.

Wonderful experience and service. Went for lunch on a Friday and it was not too packed. The charcuterie board was gorgeous and had a variety of items. The mimosas were delicious! The waffles were so good and absolutely filling. They encourage going out into the greenery and exploring/ taking pictures. Would definitely come again!

Island Grove was so nice! From the moment I walked in to leaving it was a delightful experience. Hostess greeted me the moment I walked in and sat me with my party.Liz was our server and she did a nice job even with her hurting her finger during my visit. The winery has about of options for mimosas and tasting each wine. They offered $21 to test out about 5-7 1oz wine glasses which was good considering my specialty drink was $13. The French onion soup and chicken and waffles were seasoned very well and so time. Prices for each item was reasonable. Once we finished brunch we walked around the winery and they have a nice outside patio that you can enjoy drinks or food.
