Ordered a ham and pork floss bun, looks great until giving it a bite, very little ham and pork floss, ton of mayonnaise instead. It's changed the way it shouldn't be.So sad!

Come her after 6pm and the buns or breads are only $1.50!This $1.50 is not for the cakes ONLY BUNS.They offer buy 5 get 6th free but thats tagged as regular priced so its cheaper to get them for $1.50 each bun.My favorites are the chocolate custard bun and the coconut bun.The buns here are soft and tender and not too sweet. which I love in a pastry. They offer cake rolls of ube, matcha, marble and chiffon. Those are reasonable priced because if you buy a slice its close to $3.They also offer egg custard tarts when available. They also I think offer fruit asian cakes for birthdays and celebrations - Just ask. Formosa is still my favorite asian bakery along with Sun Pearl but sun pearl on west colonial is cash only unlike here they accept apple pay. They accept call in orders if you give a day at least in advance. I have ordered the chocolate custard buns before but from what I recall the quantity I ordered was less because they told me they sold a few pcs. I was not happy about that move. I ordered a quantity for a reason. Other than that I will still support this Taiwanese bakery.

Nice little bakery spot inside IFresh. The buns were pretty decent and they often have special prices at the end of the day. We chose a few different varieties- Roast Pork, Taro, Strawberry Cream, Custard...and found all of them to be good.

I like desserts and snacks, so whenever I come to iFresh (before the bakery closes) I'll usually grab some bakery items. I definitely still miss their buy 5 get 1 deal that they used to have before covid. Prices has gone up a good amount but that's expected. The breads are fresh and still tastes good and the staffs are usually very nice and pleasant. They got decent options to choose from (if you go early enough) but they didn't have any red bean buns the day I went, which made me sad.

(5/24/2022) needed some nosh for a road trip home and while doing mom's Chinese grocery run at iFresh picked up a few cakes and buns, extra fresh, pillowy, still warm, fresh out of the oven and individually wrapped.

Formosa Bakery is located inside the Asian grocery store on the corner of Colonial and Bumby. The bakery is small but the inventory is huge. A large assortment was wrapped in really strong clear plastic and placed in a self service display. Many of their baked goods were new to me and this made it difficult to choose. Everything looked very fresh and begged to be sampled. I settled on the corn and pineapple cake. It was delicious and I will visit again to try some more items. Their custom character cakes are the best that I have seen. The cake decorator is very skilled and deserves to be recognized.

If you really need baos, you can go to this bakery located inside the iFresh Market. We were there at mid-day on a Sunday and they weren't fully stocked yet. Perhaps they ran out from the morning rush, but it felt like they were unprepared as we waited for baos to be baked and ready for sale. The sign by the baos clearly advertised BUY 5 GET 1 FREE so we chose six of them and didn't even notice until we were home that we were charged for SIX!! Did they have to be all one of the same bao? Or was it simply a mistake? We may never know. The baos themselves weren't that bad but I've definitely had better. I tried the taro, which is purple, and the custard, which is topped with a cream-like swirl. Also, the baos are kind of pricey. This bakery offers other things like cakes but I've only tried the baos.

This bakery is located inside the new Asian grocery store, Mia Supermarket. And lemme tell you, WHAT A PLACE!I absolutely love Asian bakeries as the bread buns many of them create become great snacks/meals for an on-the-go person such as myself, and for such a inexpensive price! The selection is vast in flavor profiles from the savory garlic hot dog bun, to the semi-sweet pineapple butter cream bun. All bread buns are $2.00 and under too so it surely is a fantastic deal.I had their cakes for the first time on Father's Day (the first time I found out about them existing to be exact!). If you don't know what a great Asian sponge cake taste like, LOOK NO FURTHER! Cakes start at $20 I believe and go up in terms of what flavors and items(fruits and such) you wish to add. The cake was light, a lot of the sweetness came from the fruits we put on the cake, and it was the perfect finish after eating a hefty Father's Day dinner! The ladies working there are very sweet so I encourage everyone to come try out their goodies!~ ^^

My favorite Asian bakery in Orlando, and probably in Florida. It's located inside the Asian market off Bumby and Colonial, which is easy to get to and never very crowded. I love it here for a multitude of reasons. The staff is always friendly and helpful, making sure to give you information regarding any specials or answering any questions regarding any of the breads. They always have an amazing selection, even towards the end of the day which is the only time I ever have a chance of going. All of their breads and cakes I've tried so far have been delicious. Their pricing is fair and reasonable, and they have a deal of buy 5 get 1 free. They have so much variety, I've been able to try something new every time I go. I've tried other bakeries in town but nobody does it like Formosa. Make sure to grab a matcha red bean if you see it, it's one of my favorites!

This bakery changed owner and no more buy 5 get 1 free! Only after 6:30pm you can get that promotion when bread sit there all day. We were there in the morning, and they were still selling left over hotdog buns from yesterday. WHAT????? I am sure they taste just as good as the previous, but left over meat buns, big NO No! I miss those days when I got the bread fresh and hot right out of the oven.
