Note: this is in the cafeteria at the VA Hospital. I met my husband here for lunch one day and was so impressed with the food selection and quality. Foodoko was by far our favorite. We shared a chicken spring roll (served with spicy mayo) and seaweed salad. My husband got the Fuji roll which had spicy tuna. I got the ramen. It was build your own style. You chose your base (miso or chicken broth), then your protein, and your add ins. Then topped it with sesame oil and or siracha. The bowl was so tasty and the portion was huge. Can't wait to try some of their other creations!

I arrived there around 130ish and I got the Tuna Poke bowl. There were a few other selection of rolls and other bowls that were all pre-made ready to be grabbed and go. Only one bowl had regular rice while others had Brown Rice (marked with a B) which he informed me. I really wanted a salmon one but it didn't seem like it was made to order since he didn't offer to make one so I just picked up the Tuna one and went on my way. It was 9.99.The bowl had fresh tasting cuts of tuna mixed in a spicy soy sesame blend, edamame, seaweed salad, lettuce, carrots, half of a avocado over rice. I also asked for soy sauce and a little packet of Wasabi. The rice was like half of the bottom of the bowl. Everything was fresh and the rice as well. Lets talk about where Foodoko is located...Foodoko is INSIDE the huge VA building Patriots Cafe so it's not really a easy park and a few steps into the place. It'll take you to go through the gates and then go park either at the lot or in the garage to get to the cafe. Once inside look for the Patriots Cafe and it'll be towards the back of the cafeteria. The VA is a busy place taking care of lot of veterans so take into consideration when you want to venture inside. It a amazing building though. I think overall its a great addition to the VA cafe with better than grocery store sushi. I might swing by around to try a sushi burrito sometime.

This little gem is located in the new Orlando VA hospital in Lake Nona... Believe it or not! Down in the patriot the café you will find Foodoko and I'm gonna tell you what right off the bat i'm throwing a healthy serving of four stars to them for some quite surprisingly good food. The patriot café is the main restaurant if you will facility at the VA and to be honest The food isn't horrible and the prices are really good. Foodoko came in as a new addition since its privately owned it's kind of like the sushi joints at Publix I guess they're leasing space there. Well much less much like many of the Publix sushi departments, they're not bad. The Tuna Poke is as good as everyone says it is! The sushi is really fresh and since I don't do eggs or mayo, they have always provided me with alternative ingredients. I want to try tile burrito that my wife got. The Patriot cafe is pretty good and def a good value. Foodoko is no exception. Bravo and thanks for serving our Veterans!!!

Great spot for ramen, sushi, and seaweed salad. The miso and meat broths are both good. For protein choices, both the pork belly is and the veggie option with tofu is are great. Even the extras you can add are so fresh (always choose mushrooms). Cannot go wrong with sushi which give a lot of choices, and the seaweed salad is my favorite. They shop for high quality ingredients and you can taste the difference in quality. Steve and LeiLing are so friendly.

Foodoko is definitely worth the trip to a veterans hospital. I was surprised when it was actually located in the food court and first had to ask for help to find it. There is no need to be suspicious about sushi that's at a hospital in this case because they're an independent business. My sushi burrito was made fresh upon order and was larger than I thought it would be, therefore the price is worth the portion. I will definitely be a returning customer to try their poké bowls and some more burritos since I live nearby!!

Sushi lovers rejoice- here's a new fun way to eat your sushi. Foodoko is a deliciously unassuming gem tucked away in Lake Nona inside the new Veteran Affairs cafeteria that is open to the general public. It serves the first sushi burrito I have had the pleasure of eating in Orlando and it was absolutely worth it. For 9 bucks and change, I received a hefty burrito stuffed with tuna, salmon, crunchy tempura flakes, eel sauce, and more. It came served in a ready made box and the guy running the shebang was delightfully friendly. This burrito is guaranteed to fill you up and because of the healthy ingredients, I didn't feel bloated or uncomfortable afterwards. In addition to the burrito I got, there were multiple other burrito selections including a vegetarian friendly option. There is plenty of seating outside the cafeteria and the VA itself is located in a beautiful new building that is a pleasure to stroll through. I would definitely recommend stopping by Foodoko if you are in the Lake Nona area, or even to plan a trip there for a very unique casual dining experience.

Located inside the Lake Nona VA cafe. This sushi is located inside of the cafeteria area. They offer a selection of fresh packaged sushi rolls and the sushi chef can make allergy requests on site. I purchased a spicy tuna poke bowl today for $9.99. The bowl contains rice, edamame, seaweed salad, lettuce and cucumbers. Very nicely portioned & tasty!! I'll try one of the rolls or sushi burritos on my next visit here at the VA. :)

Foodoko operates out of the VA cafeteria and has generally had good options but they don't listen to consumers. They don't make enough plant based options (veggie rolls) they insist on putting mayo on top of veggie rolls, which could just be a side, they also always put shrimp in their inari pockets which eliminates another plant based option. They've been notified of this multiple times and they still ignore the many hospital and healthcare workers that are vegetarian/vegan for religious or spiritual reasons. Recently they've gotten stingy with their ramen options. The original owner/operator was kind, if you got ramen which is supposed to come with 'five toppings' they never specified which toppings you could select, now out of the blue they are saying that you can only have two servings of tofu as a topping. So they're charging 11 dollars for a bowl of miso soup ramen essentially and refuse to give any tofu. There is nothing on their label or their signage that says they can only have 2 of any given topping. Also, for anybody who might think I'm unreasonable, it's chilly in the hospital to work here for a ten hour shift, I actually just said sans the noodles and let me get broth with tofu today and some veggies, but they refused to give me all five toppings (despite having no noodles lol). Anyway, they've fallen off in quality and service. Do not recommend.
