Flip Flops Bar & Grille

My first time at Flip-Flops since the reopening. Place was extremely clean, the staff was overwhelming friendly... this was a vast difference from before.. The food was surprisingly very good, I was prepared for mediocre or below Pahr ... however, the pretzel bites were flavorful. The mustard was a little too sweet for me, but it taste good. Granddaughter said chicken wings were way better than she expected them to be. They look good and I was glad to hear that they tasted good. I'll try those the next time I go back.The salmon salad was outstanding I do wish that it was a little more blackened in flavor. It was cooked perfectly, but I selected the black in and it really didn't have much of a black and taste to it.. Overall pleasantly

This is a great local restaurant that balances convenience, quality, and price for the Bellalago community. It currently only caters to the community, so if you are a visitor, you better make some friends.Ambience/LocationFrom daytime casual (adjacent to the pool) to nighttime wine & filets on the patio under string lights. The restaurant is located in the heart of the community and is a little difficult to get to because the main entry is under construction. Once you enter, you will find a quaint beachy vibe with a nice bar and covered outdoor seating area.FoodThere are plenty of options for the most stubborn customer and the quality/combinations are first rate. Items include simple salads to complex filter dinner options. My favorites have been the simple BLT, cheesecake, onion rings, and desserts.PriceThis can't be real food. Why? Because it distress me more to buy the ingredients from a 1980's Wal-Mart. I ordered a BLT for $5 and it came with $5 worth of fries. My alcoholic speciality drink was only $4 and drinking two might have gotten me a DUI.ServiceThey are a little understaffed, but the staff have been nothing but extremely pleasant. Our waitress even remembered looks names after just 2 visits, which was pretty special. Since the food cost is so low, we usually tip accordingly (~25%).My FavsThe Sunday brunch is only $10 all you can eat and includes an omelet station. We enjoyed (real) eggs, sausage, bacon, potatoes, fruit, pastries, pancakes, and waffles. If you don't have afternoon plans, the $10 mimosas are a must. It comes with an entire bottle and carafe of orange juice. Easily enough for 4 period to get their fun on.I will be visiting at least 1/month.

The fish was chewy. The ceviche was mushy. The service was slow and it wasn't busy. Then they put a 20% gratuity on out tab. There was four of us. The food sucked and the service sucked. And we didn't have a choice on tip. Anywhere else is better

Been in here a few times, and really like it. It's on Bella Lago and so difficult to get in if you don't live there.The food was nice, and reasonably priced. Definitely worth a visit.

Had the Dockside fried fish last night and it was delicious!!! Wish I would have taken a picture. The fish was huge!!!

We live in Bellalago and decided to stop in for a bite. Jonathan the GM greeted us at the entrance and let me say he was a fantastic host and gentleman. The food was very good and hot and the draft beer was very good and cold. If given a fair chance this restaurant will be a great addition to the neighborhood and Johnathan is the man to head up the operation. Cheers !

Great little cafe/bar with a beautiful large screened in lanai overlooking the pond. Food is delicious and reasonable. Almost all of the staff are awesome.

I go there alot. Ive got to say they are doing great work. The staff is excellent. I suggest the Mgr. Start doing more for community. ( Sponser fights and more events like Pay per View), The Bellalago community says Thanks in advance.

Great Restaurant!It is private, so only people living in Bellalago or their invited guests are permitted.

Amazing service wide variety of breakfast items and the food was great!! Best thing about it that its right on the water!!
