Flamingo's Bar & Grille

Found myself staying at Townplace Suites after selling my home. I actually stayed at this same hotel 6 years ago when I bought my house. The restaurant and bar have gone down hill. Nothing was bad but for the prices they charged it would be nice if they gave you what the menu described.One night I ordered the Blueberry Basil margarita. For $15 I thought you'd be able to taste the tequila but it tasted more of the mix. There was no basil and the blueberries were awful. Day at the pool at 2pm, not busy, yet waited well over 10 mins for a bartender to even come to the counter. She was no where to be seen. I ordered the Pirate Mai Tai. It was a decent Mai tai but not what was advertised. Cheap silver rum instead of the dark rum and grenadine instead of the cranberry juice. Since it wasn't bad I ordered another but asked her to not use grenadine and use the cranberry and she actually looked confused. I had food in my room for dinner but thought an order of fries would be good. "Flamingo Dusted Fries" for $7.95. Huge portion and decent fries but guess flamingo dust means hardly any salt. There was no special seasoning. I asked if there was ketchup in the bag and the bartender literally said "I wouldn't know, I didn't pack it" ok thanks. I also ordered a Captains Mule to take back with me. Decent drink of Captain Morgan, cheap silver rum. Lime juice and ginger beer. However the menu described it as Captain Morgan, Domain Canton Ginger Liquer, Orange Bitters and Ginger beer. So basically don't go here for service or accurately made drinks. I guess grabbing a drink by the pool is fine but don't have a menu if you're not going to give people what they ordered

I've never been to this place before, but when we were looking for something to eat the hotel, we decided to order from here and have it delivered via door dash.  It had a lot of mixed reviews, but we figured we'd give it a try.   Something had to be better than the various restaurants that we tried at the hotel and nearby hotels. We kept our order simple: 1.  Flamingo's burger - Burger cooked medium, American cheese, and "flamingo dusted" fries.   This was amazing.  The burger was juicy and fresh.   Fries were nice and cripy. 2.  Steak Platter- Juicy steak with creamy garlic mashed potatoes.   I wasn't sure exactly what the sliced veggies were, but they were tasty as well.   3.  Coconut Shrimp -  The shrimp was surprisingly crispy and didn't fall apart with the first bite.      Overall, the food was amazing, hot and fresh,  and so flavorful.  I can't wait to try this place again.

Poolside dinnerThere is a shared pool between the TownePlace Suites and Springhill Suites at Flamingo Crossing. My granddaughter sure likes the water. We decided to stay close so she could get more pool time by having dinner at the poolside restaurant Flamingo's Bar & Grille.Our good spirited server handled in stride our inability to all sit at the table at the same time to order food. I ordered their Flamingo Burger. I like ordering things that include the restaurant name, thinking they take extra care with signature dishes. Yeah, right. I also like burgers and this one was very good, extra attention or not. A good solid burger. Everyone liked their food.

Flamingo's is great for a fun cocktail while you take a dip in the gorgeous pool. You'll enjoy the relaxed vibe and the fun bartenders. Lots of cocktails and beer to choose from. The wine list is just ok. The food is hit or miss. We've had scrumptious meals and other times not good at all. But the convenience and location make up for the food. Great place if you have kids and/or are staying at one the two adjoining hotels. We enjoy the Springhill and have stayed often. There's almost always someone to talk to at Flamingo's and lots of activity.

Ordered a to go of their Philly Cheese Steak and my son ordered the Chicken Cordon Bleu with their vegetable soup... the entrees were pretty good

This is a great restaurant to enjoy right off of the hotel. The pizza here is actually quite good. The sizes are comparable to most pizza chains, the sauce is good, the toppings are generous, and we always enjoy pizza at the pool on a beautiful summer Florida day. Some other food items that we've tried and enjoyed are the chicken tenders for the kids, the Flamingo burger is another solid option, and we really enjoy their crispy French fries. Cannot leave without ordering a plate! A nice option for a family that is looking for an easy dinner without leaving the hotel.

In house eatery for hotel guests, has grilled/fried food options. Lacks a lot of healthy options but you're on vacation so no surprise there. Service was nice and took care of us. Problems I had for the low star rating would be due to the lack of non-carb/fried options, sides, nonalcoholic beverage options. Biggest sin is if you eat INSIDE the establishment you're served on disposable styrofoam ware and plastic utensils. Might as well just order to go and eat at the pool, all finger food anyway.

The Flamingos Bar and Grille is pretty good for being a restaurant attached between two hotels. The outside patio overlooks the pool, the design is pretty and eye catching. The food overall is great, keep in mind this is no 5 star spot when I say great. We had the supreme pizza; cheesy (which is good), right amount of sauce, generous with their toppings. Later was the burger and fries. The fries had a nice spice blend, called flamingo dust (cute), and were the golden crispy kind. Nice spot if you don't want to travel far for food

the food was dry. the pizza had no sauce. the service was not very good. the ambiance is pretty nice. but do not recommend coming here.
