Fire Eater's Grill

We were at Universal a few days ago and I selected Fire Eaters Grill while the rest of my party selected Circus McGurkus. There was a small line so I mobile ordered and my order was ready in about a minute! Very quick! I ordered the Traditional Gyro with fries. $12.99. Fair price for theme park food. So why a 1 if it was quick and reasonably priced? Great question! First reason-the fries seasoning included. sugar. I am one of those people who HATE sugar on fries. Absolutely hate it! Second reason-the tzatziki sauce was just plain sour cream or maybe yogurt. No cucumbers. No garlic. No dill. No flavor! When I picked up my sandwich I noticed there wasn't much sauce and I asked if I could get a side of sauce. Yep, for an extra cost. I'm glad I didn't pay for plain sour cream or yogurt. The sandwich needed more seasoning. There was a generous amount of meat. 4 or 5 pieces. It was a little greasy but that's typically of gyro meat. A little too many onions but I just took some off. Would I order again? Nope. Unless the fries could be ordered with only salt and if I could taste the tzatziki first. So probably no.

4 stars for Fire Eater's Grill at Islands of Adventure Theme park. If you want good quick service food that you wouldn't normally see at a theme park - this restaurant may be for you. Fire Eater's has kebabs, pita Sandwhiches, gyros and falafel. The food was pretty good - i recommend the Falafel pita sandwhich. The fries were also good, although I wasn't really a fan of the pita chips - they're kind of dry.For a theme park quick service restaurant- not bad! I'll probably do it again next time I go to Universal, it's nice how close it is to the Harry Potter area too.

Bought this for a quick lunch to eat in line at Hagrid's. This was definitely the right choice. I ordered the chicken stingers combo with hummus and golden puffs; yum! They were basically buffalo chicken strips, but they were delicious! Crunchy and saucy; just how I like it! The golden puffs were an unexpected delight. I had no idea what to expect, but they were light, airy fried dough dipped in honey. You can't go wrong! The hummus was great too! I did order via mobile order, but I'm not sure it actually saved us time. When I went, there wasn't much of a line, and it did take a little while for us to get the food. Still, it was the perfect meal to eat in line; don't forget to bring napkins!

This food did what it needed to do. It filled us up and was good for amusement park food. However, we had to wait a very long time for it and people who came after us got their food before us. I had the fried chicken pita which I enjoyed, my partner had the stinger (buffalo) pita which was not very good. They seasoned the fries well. We were pleasantly surprised that it didn't cost an arm and a leg like most amusement park food does. There were lots of seats to sit outside of it which I really appreciated. I would come back if I passed by it again.

Probably the best fast food option at Islands of Adventure. Service was quick and staff was nice. Ordered the Crispy Chicken Gyro, Traditional Gyro, and an extra order of pita with tzatziki. All pretty scrumptious considering it's theme park food. Flavors were there in the gyros, would definitely come again :)

The menu looked delicious when I read it and decided to give it a try. Ordered the gyro and was happy with the portion. You get the wrap and celery, carrots and hummus on the side. The meat was seasoned nicely and was tender; I wish the wrap had more tzatziki though. The hummus was sprinkled with paprika and was very yummy. I was disappointed that the celery sticks were clearly past their prime and mushy on the ends. Overall it was ok.

The chicken stingers are so good that I'm gonna be on an episode of My Strange Addiction

We ordered the gyro with fries $14.49 and gyros no fries for $10.99 ! I literally got three slices of gyro meat !! Hardy any sauce !! Also wanted to try cookie Dow desert 4.00 each ! Way to sweet! Would we eat here again no ! Disappointed meal ! Forgot to take pics of disappointed food !

If you're looking for a way to simultaneously waste your time waiting for your food and also to waste your money on some absolutely repulsive food then this is your place! Also don't expect even a smidgen of a smile out of literally anyone working in this park lol. Food was truly disgusting and cold.

Got the gyro and the hot dog, it is exactly what you expect for quick theme park food so I don't know what everyone else here expected.Also the fries rocked.
