Fifth Avenue Streatery

First timers and to be honest I wasn't sure how it would go. The food was really tasty. The wife had the special "Chicken Pot Pie" and I opted for the Italian sausage with fried. Both were excellent but I couldn't finish all the fries Service was excellent and everything seating wise was outdoors. So the ambiance was very nice on a dry and sunny day but not sure about bad weather

Great burgers and sandwiches here! The potato salad was great as well. We had great service at 5th ave streatery, it is outdoor seating only but they do have covered seating. Great place to eat at on a day with good weather. Everything was very clean for being outside. There were a lot of fried items on the menu, we tried the jalepenos and I wasn't a huge fan of that but the pimento cheese in it was good.

INCREDIBLE FOOD!!! I am from Orlando and drove here to pick something up from Facebook marketplace and stumbled upon Fifth Avenue Streatery! The portions are LARGE, the food is DELICIOUS, and the service is quick and kind! Our server, Beth, was extremely nice and explained everything on the menu! I got the Monday special of fried chicken and WOW I've never had anything like it! Thank you, Fifth Ave Streatery and Beth aka Bath! We will ABSOLUTELY be back!

We had a very nice dinner there last night! The ambiance was relaxed and casual. The service was attentive and professional - very impressive. I had the Mediterranean salad which was perfect - a nice balanced blend of ingredients. My husband had the Chicago Dog and really enjoyed it!

5 stars for a substantial mahi mahi sandwich with fries for only $14! The portion size is so great and perfect to share. It comes on a long baguette, red onion and lettuce. We ordered it blackened but you can also get grilled or fried.Service was super fast, we ordered and received it within 10 minutes. The fish was perfectly flakey and fresh. Fries were super hot and seemed like they were made to order, not sitting around..The sitting area is all outside but you can choose where you'd like to sit. They have fans going to keep everyone cool. Great place for a quick bite, good food and great prices!

Outside seating only at this delightful spot. I appreciate a "from scratch" establishment. Salads, salmon, chicken and chicken fingers were enjoyed by our crew.Service was friendly and attentive. We will stop in again when we are in town.

THE BEST BURGER I HAVE EVER HAD IN MY LIFE!I am only in Mount Dora maybe once a year, but every single time I visit a stop at Fifth Avenue Streatery is a requirement. The service is always friendly & the only thing that can beat the vibe of this old gas station is the food!The Mount Dora burger is quite literally the best burger you'll ever have. The combination of all the ingredients hits every single note. The bacon onion jam is sweet, the creamy goat cheese, the fresh pesto flavor. To die for!

First visit here. I had the crispy Asian shrimp, and my husband had a chicken sandwich. Portions were more than adequate, and food was delicious. Nikki provided excellent service...friendly, helpful, engaged, but not intrusive.

I have been wanting to eat here for months, and my in-laws visiting was the perfect reason to give it a try! We loved that the restaurant is a reinvented gas station. The outdoor seating and string lights were nice and I'm sure they would be gorgeous at night. The staff were all amazing and played peek a boo with our son! We started with the fried green tomatoes and crab cake appetizer. The fried green tomatoes were good, but the crab cake and caprese salad stole the show! The unique caprese made with peaches and mozzarella balls was a hit, even with my toddler! My husband got the sausage dog and I got the Mount Dora burger with onion rings. The Mount Dora burger was piled high with deliciousness topping including savory goat cheese, sweet bacon jam, and earthy arugula. The onion rings and house made ranch hit the spot!Rating from F to A+++, I give it an A+++! We will without a doubt be back to eat here again!

Awesome place!! The service and food was terrific. I had the Drunken Steer and they should really bottle and sell the beer cheese sauce that is on the sandwich. I had onion rings as a side which were excellent as well. My wife had the fried chicken with the home made mac and cheese and she said both were very good. The only down side for some people would be that all the seating is outside. It is pet friendly and they even have a pet menu. We will definitely eat here again if back this way.
