One of our favorite places to eat downtown. Great Mexican food. Start some some good chips and salsa or order some cheese dip. I like the fajita Brocheta steak or chicken, bacon, mushrooms, pineapple, onions and peppers with cheese for $19. The wife gets different stuff. Today was two chicken tacos with rice and beans. Service was good. Music playing in the background. Like the The Day of the Dead paintings.

Bummed to find out the nice patio is NOT dog friendly. I guess someone's dog bit someone and the restaurant was sued and that ruined it for the rest of us. Too bad because Mt. Dora is so dog friendly...Our meal was still just ok. Servers were stretched thin so it was still a bit slow. Our server was nice and was trying. Definitely a management/staffing issue. Margaritas were better than I remembered and sitting outside was a much better experience than inside on a loud and busy night. Still prefer MezCal or Garabaldi in Apopka (and both are dog-friendly!)

I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with my recent dining experience at this establishment. I found it unacceptable that a charge of $1.50 was levied for a small cup of salsa, a practice I have never encountered at any other Mexican restaurant. This, coupled with extremely slow service, bland tasting tacos featuring stale and rubbery steak, and the necessity of repeatedly requesting basic amenities like ice, constitutes an unsatisfactory experience. The overall impression was of a business prioritizing profit maximization through nickel-and-diming customers rather than providing quality food and service. This restaurant is your typical tourist trap. Based on these factors, I rate my experience as a D and will not be returning. I do not recommend this restaurant unless you don't mind being ripped off. Honestly Taco Bell serves better tasting tacos than this place.

Service was fast. Sat at the bar and was tended too the entire time. Food was delicious. I ordered the fajitas which were flavorful and a good portion(not to share). Chips and salsa was yummy. Margaritas were 10/10!! They 100% know how to make margs. Get it B1G1 at happy hour and choose from different flavors.

Been coming here for years after every craft show. If you know how to order (street tacos and elote) the food is delicious. Best al pastor tacos if ever had. The wife says the carnitas are almost as good. We look forward to our once a year visits. Keep up the good work. Our waitress was very attentive too

We tried out this place in downtown Mount Dora tonight. Everything about it was excellent. When asking my dinner mates what they thought EVERYONE gave 5 stars across the board. Eddie was our server and did a great job. Everyone loved atmosphere, food quality, portions, and overall experience. Each category scored 5 out of 5. Most important was that everyone said they would be coming back!!!Ask for Eddie and he will take great care of you.
