1st time visiting this location since they moved from across the street. The pizza is and they probably have the best vegan cheese in town if youre dairy sensitivo like me.Service was excellent, attentive and speedy

The food was great! You gotta have the garlic bread--it just melts in your mouth. My MIL is a vegetarian, there are so many options for her. I love the chick parmigiana and the pesto pasta, but have also enjoyed the pizza and all of the appetizers! And don't forget to try the peach sangria... YUMMY! Service good, but be sure to make a reservation bc it is always busy.

We've been to and are fans of the F&D Cantina, so I was expecting about the same caliber of service and quality at the Italian Kitchen. The interior is decorated with your typical Italian restaurant kitschy items (wine bottles, portraits of people eating italian food, lots of red and white). We went on Valentine's day so it was super busy but our server was very attentive and our food came quickly. We ordered the zucchini frites which came with a creme-fraiche that had a bit of a lemon taste to it as well as marinara sauce. My wife got the pesto tortellini and I got the mushroom papardelle. Everything was hot and very tasty! We also got a couple of glasses of wine and I appreciated the wide selection to choose from.

This location of F&D Italian Kitchen is gorgeous. It also delivers a cozy and welcoming atmosphere inside and on their outside patio. We went without a reservation on a Monday and were seated immediately. I was surprised to see how busy it was on a Monday evening. The hospitality was fantastic since we walked in.We started our meal with appetizers. We had the two meatballs and garlic bread. Their garlic bread is one of my favorites--Crispy and not grease. For our entrees, we got the lasagna and the cacio e pepe. Both were delicious! We had the pizza at the now-closed Longwood location, which was phenomenal. For dessert, we ordered the tiramisu. It was so yummy!I recommend this place if you are looking for a nice place to eat a good Italian meal and celebrate a special occasion.

I been to F&D restaurants before and had a really good experience. The Mexican cantina had wonderful food and strong drinks, so I needed to give the Italian Kitchen a shot. I made a reservation on a Saturday evening. I got real lucky to find a parking spot near the entrance. When I arrived, I was greeted immediately and sat at a small table in the dining room. When my server came, I asked for the Grape Vine drink (12dollars). It was a buzzy drink with Italian vodka, grapes, and lavender tea syrup. I loved the floral flavor and the buzz lasted for about an hour. For my entree, I wanted to go a bit healthier and try the chicken Millenase (18 dollars). There was an ample piece of chicken coated in buttermilk panko, and a nice size of salad. I squeezed the grilled lemon on the chicken to give a bit of citrus flavor, but the panko already gave the nice flavor. The chicken was moist enough to enjoy, and the sherry vinegarrete was a nice dressing for the arugula salad. I couldn't leave without dessert, so I tried the tiramisu (9 dollars), which had the perfect amount of richness and espresso. I even enjoyed the whipped cream on the side. The service was quick and friendly. My server tried to be helpful in the suggestions. Payment was done at the table since they had a Toast device. Atmosphere was casual with the noise level being sociable. There was a small bar and outdoor seating too. I wish there were more parking spaces, but the restaurant was in a residential area. F&D has done it again with another great restaurant. Their Mexican restaurant was wonderful, and now they amazed me with the Italian restaurant. I definitely need to splurge and try their steakhouse next. If it is as good as these restaurants, I will be in for a treat!

Couldn't post the video of the mussels, but everything really surprised us! I'm usually not a tiramisu fan, but this tiramisu was so good! Ambience is great and our water was incredible. He knew what to recommend and was extremely nice to us sitting outside with our dog. They have great specials throughout the week, and the house salad (not pictured) was also very good! We've been back 3 times since our first visit where these quick snaps were taken. Reasonably priced, awesome food and drink specials, and great pizza too!

We had a party of 20 from out of town. Josh was our server and was fantastic! The service was fast and efficient. The food was amazing! The menu selection was excellent with a wide variety of Italian food. Every person in our party of 20 enjoyed their food and raved about how delicious their meal was. The Crispy Brussels sprouts were the best I've ever had- sweet and tangy. If I'm ever in Orlando again I will definitely come back!

Whether for dinner, drinks, or just a snack - I love this place! First off- parking is tricky. So know that going in. You might get lucky, or you might have to look around for a bit. But it will be worth it. Ride your bike! The restaurant has a very upscale vibe, while simultaneously feeling very "Florida casual". You'll be at home in a suit jacket or flip flops. The service is always super friendly and they have an inside/outside bar for while you wait. The food is incredible. Pizza is amazing and pastas are all very good. I haven't had anything didn't like. Great for celebrations or just happy hour. Do yourself a favor and head to F&D!

My husband and I decided to try F&D Woodfired Italian Kitchen for a date night. This was our first time here and once we walked in it was pretty busy but the hostess got us seated within 20 mins. We ordered the Garlic Bread, Stuffed Mushrooms, Italian Trio, Mojito, and Britt's Sangria. The mushrooms came out super hot and were very flavorful. When the garlic bread came out it smelled so good but once we tasted it, it was quite bland. We shared the Italian Trio which came with chicken parm, spaghetti and meatballs, and lasagna. The spaghetti tasted average, the meatball was tender and seasoned well. The chicken parm was good but the star of the plate was the lasagna. The lasagna was flavorful and melts in your mouth. If I come back I'm definitely ordering a plate of lasagna. My husband ordered the mojito and it was very refreshing and tasted great. I had the Britt's Sangria and it was so disappointing, the description sounded amazing but once I got my drink it literally tasted like water with food coloring. Overall F&D Woodfired Kitchen was good/average, is there anything that was new or different compared to other places? Not really. I'm not sure if I'll return.
