My husband and I just left here. We celebrated our first wedding anniversary. The food was delicious and the service was amazing. It was super cute that they had a card waiting for us.. such a nice unexpected touch. Definitely recommend if you're looking for a nice steakhouse to celebrate or just because.

Nice looking place. Good service. Spacious seating. Pretty layout from the large bar to the roomy dining room. A fair crowd of swells scattered mainly in the bar area - lots of folks for a Tue night. Our appetizers were mostly good enough. The 2 deviled eggs cut in half were really too small and too few for the price ($14). The chilled shrimp cocktail was a yuge presentation for only being 5 shrimp. They were definitely jumbo. But tough & chewy, not tender. The tartare was both really good and really weird. 3 patties of varying color and texture. Delicious beef patty. Odd green mystery patty had a strange taste. We never figured out what the third patty was so we left most of it behind. Bone-in ribeye ($79) ordered medium rare was much more medium-to-medium well. Flavorful, but not prepared to our requested med rare made it tough. Our broccolini was way too much stalk and not enough floret - like asparagus. The potato square was simply divine. It melted in the mouth. The small button mushrooms were tasty. The chocolate cake w/whipped topping on the side was very well done. Overall, our meal was just ok. The Fishbones around the corner is as good or better and a much better overall value. And Fishbones knows how to grill their steak medium rare. Fishbones is our choice.

We are from out of town but stopped here on the way to the Asian Lantern Festival. So glad we did. We arrived around 4:15 which was perfect because it was not crowded and they had happy hour specials til 6. We started with the Japanese Milk Bread which was amazing! Warm and soft with a tasty citrus honey butter. Overall we had NY strip steak frites which was perfectly seasoned and seared, a burger that was moist and flavorful, and sliders that were the perfect size and taste. They have a good wine selection and delicious cucumber martinis. The service was superb. If ever in the area again would def return.

A beautiful red rose started our wonderful Valentine's meal last night. The food was great, the service by Jasmyne was great and we were super thrilled to find out that the newer General Manager was none other than Sarah, one of our favorite people. We ran into neighbors, the vibe and evening couldn't have been nicer. This is now solidly a go-to and it's a nice blend of "nicer place" and "not stuffy/full of themselves". You'll enjoy it.

Service was fine; "Japanese Milk Bread" was very good. That's really all I can say good about this place. I went and I'm done. Honestly, nothing else stood out. Steak and sides are average at best. We ordered the regular filet and the upgraded. Upgraded was better but it was still average. The fried Brussel Sprouts made my partner and I ill. The au gratin potatoes were below average. Honestly I wouldn't waste your time and money. If you want a great steak ... head to Flemings in Winter Park. You won't be disappointed I promise.

We had dinner at F&D last night. It's a very warm and beautiful place. We were warmly welcomed and then enjoyed an evening a fabulous food, great service, delightful drinks. I had the 8 ounce fillet which was melt in your mouth delicious. My wife had the scallops which she loved. This a great place for romantic relaxing evening. Great place for something light with drinks too. The bar is very nice and well stocked and nice selection of wines.

Not worth the price!!! Came here on a Saturday night. Had a reservation. They asked if we were celebrating anything, we said just a romantic pre valentines dinner. Hostess talked up the outdoor seating, so we obliged. I was concerned about the cold , but was assured they had heaters, only to find out after being seated that they were out of propane, so no heaters. Food was okay. The blue crab cake was great. Decent size, seasoned well, and good pairing sauce. The oysters were alright. Kind of a spinach dip topping. It was different, but I didn't dislike it. The New York steak frites was underwhelming. I know I ordered well done, but this was sad. Some pieces cooked well done, others medium well, but dry overall and simply not worth 42 bucks. A wine glass was dropped on the ground by a guest at the table next to us. No big deal. The staff remade the table, but never checked on us, as we were only a few feet away(I could reach out and touch the guest at the next table).Had to wait several minutes after our food was delivered for a staff member to become available to bring us steak knives, because we didn't have any. Server asked if I wanted salt or sugar on my margarita rim. I said sugar. Only for it to come out with tajin. Overall, I felt rushed. Spent over $200 for the two of us, but received fairly poor service in my opinion, compared to the large table that was seated across from us, and the smaller table next to us that required more attention. The night was anything but intimate or romantic.

Service and ambience are top notch! The rest of the review will focus on food. But I dined here to celebrate a job offer with my husband and it was great for this occasion. Lovely atmosphere, beautiful bar, and servers are knowledgeable and friendly. The food is a mix of traditional and upscale steakhouse. Food quality was excellent! Prices reflect the quality. My favorite dish was the potatoes pavé au gratin. Just so yummy and gave me that traditional steakhouse feel. Fries were also awesome. Besides this and the steak frites, the other dishes had a more modern take which was fun and interesting. For instance, the house salad has chopped mango. Very yummy and refreshing. The raw oysters were served with a mignonette and a granita as well as cocktail sauce and a mini Tobasco hot sauce bottle. Not a fan of the granita, though. I prefer the oysters to be accompanied with traditional crackers and horseradish. The steak itself is explained to us as USDA Prime and "wet aged" for 85 days, which I believe is also how Ruth Chris treats their beef. It's nothing special to me though, and our steak was fine but nothing amazing. I'd like to go back and order one of their other steaks that aren't pre-sliced like the one we had. Drinks were great, they have a great wine list and a spicy margarita so everyone's happy. I'll be back here definitely for the ambience and because I'm curious to try more dishes with the modern flare. I'm a big fan of the F&D restaurant group and this one is a nice addition.
