Eola General is the best example of neighborhood commercial, providing the immediate neighborhood and others a safe, welcoming, quaint gathering place with light breakfast and lunch options for all diets. My wife loves their organic wine selection, and we enjoyed a beautiful Saturday sipping mimosas and a draft beer. Dog friendly and it felt so safe with such a diversity of patrons, it was very welcoming!

Eola General is everything you could want in a locally owned, neighborhood spot that has something for everyone and is welcoming in every way. Breakfast, lunch, happy hour, dinner... any time of day they've got something fantastic waiting for you. A beautiful patio space as well as indoor seating options enhances the very kid, pet, and people friendly vibe... folks from every walk of life will be made to feel welcome as soon as they walk in the door and get enthusiastically greeted by staff and owner. The progressive $4, $5, $6 happy hour from 4-7pm every day of the week is probably the best happy hour in town.Beautiful charcuterie boards, plenty of vegan options, sandwiches, bagels, soups, ice cream snacks, etc provide for plenty of food options, as well as tons of beverage options such as wine, beer (cans and on tap), coffee, juices, natural sodas and kombucha to name a few. This place really does it right and my family and I are very grateful to have such a local gem in our community. Keep it up EG!!!

Cute neighborhood spot with a good selection of specialty groceries and freshly prepared food. I enjoy walking there with my dog and hanging out for a bit on weekend mornings. It's quite overpriced, but I always go in with that expectation. What I do not expect, however, is the repeated disrespectful treatment from the owner. My last time there, I ordered a latte at the counter. The barista did an excellent job, preparing it and set it on the counter; as I was attempting to add my condiments, the owner came out and yelled at me about not spilling coffee on her laptop, which was laying beside the condiment area. First of all I was way too shocked. At the way she spoke to me to respond immediately. As a grownup and a remote worker, I am fully aware of how to care for a laptop around food/drinks. As a business owner, perhaps it is her responsibility to secure her laptop and/or not leave it next to where people are trying to prepare their coffee. I literally could not believe what I was hearing. On a previous occasion, I had brought my friends (who are of the same persuasion as me) to the wine tasting, since we are all members of a wine group and like to sample different varietals. While we enjoyed the experience, it did not go unnoticed that the owner promptly removed the opened bottles that were part of the tasting instead of letting the patrons finish them (since we had all paid). Some of the regular attendees pointed this out so she brought them back, but everyone was wondering why that week was different.Once again, it feels like due to the exclusive Thornton Park location, the owner wants to project a certain image, which, despite me owning a home in the neighborhood, I and my friends do not fit into. I really don't feel the need to overpay for the privilege of poor, discriminatory treatment. As there are plenty of other local places that appreciate my overspending, I will happily frequent those instead.

I've had this place bookmarked forever, I wish I would've visited sooner. I rarely give anywhere 5 stars, but this place is worthy. This place is awesome, cozy and quaint and right now it has all the holiday feels. Theres indoor and outdoor seating and you can order anything from wines, beers, coffee to sandwiches and soups. I absolutely loved it and cannot wait to go back. The staff was super friendly and welcoming and answered all questions and gave good suggestions. They have a happy hour $4 glass of wine at 4pm, $5 glass at 5pm and $6 glass at 6pm. You can't be it!I tried the tomato soup and grilled cheese and it was bomb!! I loved my entire experience here and if you're in the area you should definitely stop in.

I can't believe it's taken me almost 5 years of living in Orlando to come by Eola General, what a cozy spot! Wide variety of breakfast and lunch options and bagels are offered! I've had such a difficult time finding a good, order at the counter style coffee spot that also serves bagels and breakfast and it looks like this will be my new spot. The service was good, a lot of regulars stopping in that knew the staff which is always great to see. I ordered a plain avocado toast but swapped to be on an everything bagel as well as an iced oat milk latte with honey and vanilla. My dad got a hot chocolate, an onion bagel, and a blueberry scone for the road. What a great spot to sit and chat and enjoy breakfast/coffee!

I just moved downtown and Eola General is such a cute spot! Eola General is hidden away behind Lake Eola and it's a great restaurant for a lunch and coffee. Their coffee syrup list is very large, I ordered the spiced brown sugar and it was delicious. The service was very quick and the prices were great. Definitely coming back here.

I love this place! Not only is the food fun and diverse, so are the patrons and the neighborhood. In today's Florida it's getting harder to find a place that accepts you for who you are, how you love, or where you came from. The menu includes vegan and gluten free items and the servers are happy and glad to greet you!

One of the features of EG its welcoming atmosphere. It serves as a gathering place for friends and neighbors, ALWAYS a sense of community that is often hard to find l. All the friendly staff enhances this experience, making every visit feel so enjoyable. The menu boasts a variety of delicious options, but two items stand out as favorites for my daughter and I is the pesto sandwich and of course the cookies. This spot offers great food and drinks in a friendly atmosphere. Whether you're stopping by for a quick bite or spending time with friends. It is our favorite place!!

Eola General is such a unique gem of the neighborhood. I am so fortunate to be within walking distance so I can pop in for a coffee, or a glass of wine with friends They are so welcoming to everyone and have quickly become the place to sit and enjoy the great light bites with your favorite beverage. Everyone is nice and works hard to make sure everyone feels welcome. They offer charcuterie, wine/beer/sodas/water, bagel sandwiches and some unique seasonal items. I am not vegan, but the vegan meatball sub is delicious as is the triple grilled cheese with tomato basil soup The previous store was strictly a convenience store, but this is much more! You may have to pay a tad more, but it's a small establishment and I feel like I'm paying for the effort that goes into the unique offerings and the great neighborhood ambiance Go in for a morning mimosa/or coffee, or stop by for happy hour any day of the week, you won't regret it :)
