I've eaten here once before about a year ago, and wasn't at all impressed with the chimichanga because it was made out of ground beef and to me, that wasn't authentic. So I decided to come back yesterday to give it another try, and instead of ground beef I asked for shredded beef. To my surprise, it wasn't much better. The meat was tough and flavorless. The rice and beans were okay. The queso dip for my chips was flavorless also. It just didn't taste authentic to me at all. I paid $10 for it and I felt that was a little overpriced. They consider themselves the best Mexican restaurant in town, but to be honest.... I think they're the ONLY Mexican restaurant in town.

1 star cause they served us food. I ordered Mexican tacos when we got them no limes! They have a Winn Dixie next door however they have no limes. The food was ok at best the rice was dry and beans were your typical out the can stuff nothing authentic about this place. The best thing going for the is the French fries!

Some of the best Mexican in West Volusia! Amazing refried beans...made without lard!! Great flavor to the chicken and salsa. Best fish tacos ever, and my personal favorite...ceviche. Everything is so fresh! The owner is so friendly, and willing to modify dishes to try to make them a little more healthy. Definitely recommend this place!

My fiance and I have been a few times and the food has always been quite good. The chips could be fresher, but they're not bad. Some friends of ours complained that the beef used in the tacos wasn't flavored, but I've found this is the norm with any Mexican restaurant I've been to. People are just used to Taco Bell and that sort of taste. Anyway, the food is quite good and the service is fast. I should add a warning. The cook and entire staff is Hispanic, so if you don't like being around Hispanics, you'll probably be grossed out. They seem pretty clean though.

I tried them when they first opened to support our local merchant. The service was excellent and the food was authentic and delicious. I haven't been back in a while but intend to go back soon, I am sure their menu increased the amount of choices and I would like to see a menu on line at their website. Table service was very attentive. I gave this 4 stars but looking to give them 5 stars on my next visit. I would recommend this place to my family and friends!

Don't waste your money. Not authentic. Meat was tough and tasteless (with pieces of fat). Beans and rice tasted like cleaning solution and chips were stale served with flavored water called salsa. Queso dip (WHAT IS THAT) they did not offer it because they do not know how to make it (I WAS LIKE, WHAT!) If that was not bad enough they even charged for food when you sent it back when you cannot eat it. One bite of beans, rice, and chimichanga (spit out in napkin) still they charged around $9 for it; guess they needed the money. Word to the owners/cook, go south of the border to learn to cook Mexican food. Anywhere in Texas and New Mexico would be a good start. Stop ripping off the public. You should be ashamed to charge for food a customer was unable to eat because it was so bad. I give this place 10 thumbs down.
