Ellie Lou's Brews And BBQ

We were regulars at the Ocoee location and so excited to hear about the new Flamingo Crossings location.If you're on Disney property and tired of paying Disney food prices, just take Western Way under 429 and you're at Flamingo Crossings.Can't go wrong with Ellie Lou's. My usual is the Cobb Salad but I'd heard about their new-ish Smash Burger. I got a single (a double is also aavailable) and a side of their excellent fries was included. Patty, cheddar,special sauce and grilled onions on a very nice bun. Not usually a fan of grilled onions, but these were mixed with a nice, flavorful sauce.Mike got his usual turkey plate with fries and okra, add ribs. Not easy to find fries at a BBQ place, but Ellie Lou's has them. And they're awesome. It's worth the trip just for the fries, but everything else is great, too!And they even have what I call "S*nic style" ice - my favorite!We're so lucky to have a reasonably priced restaurant of this quality. Venture away from the W 192 chains and come to Ellie Lou's. You won't be sorry.

Realistically, I was disappointed in my visit to Ellie Lou's Brews and BBQ. On the surface it seems like they have everything needed that makes up a great BBQ restaurant -- delicious meats, craft brews, and a wide selection of sides. However, the problem is that they just don't deliver in terms of serving size and flavor. I literally spent over $40 for a meal for 2 people with 2 sides and "corn bread" that was the size of a mini muffin from those packs at the grocery store and we honestly still felt a little hungry. I'll just leave it at that. I would say that the brisket was ok and the pulled pork was very good. Another issue that we encountered is that this location is flooded with to go orders at the unfortunate expense of in restaurant guests. We literally waited 20 minutes to receive a very simple order and there were only maybe 2-3 other parties actually eating in the restaurant with us. Yet, I started to notice that Disney guests from the hotel next door began flooding in and were actually receiving their orders before us. Not a great experience.

This place is AMAZING! Fantastic food, reasonable prices, and employees that go above and beyond for their customers. Super clean inside. My family regularly stays at a nearby hotel when visiting the Disney parks and this is our go-to for dinner. I consider myself a BBQ connoisseur and Ellie Lou's passed the test! Highly recommend the lil corn muffins, BBQ baked potato, and pulled chicken sandwich. Love the baked beans as well. Portions are very generous.

I would go to Ellie Lou's just for the Settlers Beans - they are so good and the side portion is very filling. I also love the muffins, but had to pay extra to get them. The cashier was friendly and the team behind the counter worked well together - helping each other out - thus the food came out quickly.

Food and service was very quick. I ordered online and they had my food prepared in a reasonable time. I plan to go back once I'm in town again.

As a big barbecue fan I was very excited to try out Ellie Lou's Brews and BBQ, and I was glad that it met and exceeded my expectations. I tried the brisket with the Kansas City barbecue sauce and I was blown away by the amount I received and how tasty it was when smothered in the sauce. The brisket was tender and had the perfect smoke ring around the edge of the meat. I shamelessly love brisket in any form, and although my preference is to sliced, I did enjoy it in a chopped form.After speaking to the staff, a little bit more about Ellie Lou and the food they make. That was I found out that I could have the brisket slice next time, I will certainly be back and certainly be trying it that way. The mac and cheese was very creamy and very tasty, I only negative was that there wasn't more of it because I ate it so quickly!!I'm looking forward to my next trip and to trying out the other barbecue sauces that are on offer. Although the menu is vast I'm exciting, I may struggle to to not have the brisket again!

We ordered the meal for two from here. It was pricey in my opinion and I wasn't sure how much it would entail. However, my kids ate some of our meal as well and for our family it ended up being more like a meal for four and worth the price. The brisket was our favorite. The chicken was a little dry, but the sides were also delicious. Customer service was spot on. The location is very convenient. We will for sure be back and try more of their menu options.

Woah!!! I was blown away by this local BBQ spot. I walked in on a limb for some takeout and I was so pleasantly surprised with the whole experience. The cashier gave me suggestions that did not disappoint including the Kansas City wet sandwich which was a combo of different meats smothered in a delicious sauce. I paired the sandwich with Mac and cheese which was also a 10/10.I will definitely be back soon!

This is a long overdue review for Ellie Lou's... I'm so glad we randomly stopped here a couple of weeks ago! Since the area is still in development, finding parking was easy. Upon entering the restaurant, we found it very clean and airy-- there were lots of tables, and natural light too. We ordered a brisket platter, a side of Gospel Grits (only available on Sundays), and a baked potato stuffed with pulled pork. Everything came out fresh and delicious! Barbecue can be hit or miss for us, but we'd drive out of our way to come back here. My favorite thing was surprisingly the baked beans-- I have never been a fan, I ordered them for my husband, but once I tried them, I could not stop eating them! So that was a fun surprise-- I highly recommend!For Disney Cast Members, they also offered a discount, so be sure to bring your ID and ask about it!

I was staying at a nearby hotel, and this restaurant had the best rating. So that's why I chose it. And it shows that the Yelp ratings were right: This place is a gem. Immaculately clean, friendly staff, fast service. But the real treat is the food. Someone said the brisket was excellent. They were being modest. It is outstanding. I was going to put barbecue sauce on it, but why mess with a good thing? The mac & cheese is great, cornbread is great. I will remember this place.
