My wife and I love coming to El Triunfo Bakery & Café for our Sunday coffee and pastries, but this time, we decided to try their Mangu Tres Golpes (The Three Strikes). They have a great Monday-Thursday promotional deal for just $13.00, which made it even better!I also ordered their natural mango juice, and they give you the option of having it with milk or water--I always go with milk, and it's absolutely the best.If you haven't tried this place yet, I highly recommend it--not just for the pastries, but for the delicious food as well. The service and ambiance are always warm and welcoming. Definitely a local gem!

Took my wife out for breakfast to have some coffee and enjoy her company. I found this and more at this particular bakery/eatery Pedro the GM is a phenomenal host very hospitable and very welcoming to have a good time and enjoy good food. I definitely recommend anyone that loves good convenient down home food in a very hospitable setting to check the place out The coffee was excellent.

Great Columbian food local. First time here, delicious. A smaller restaurant, but also outside seating. Order at counter and brought to you. Inside? Clean and adorable decor. This place? Well loved and thought out.Food? We both ordered the Bandeja Paisa. A lot of food, a lot of meat. Sausage, pork, beans rice and maduros. We also ordered empanadas also. Columbian empanadas are made with corn so a little heavier and very filling (honestly I prefer flour based) . This place? Great! We will definitely be returning. Very affordable, amazing staff. They also have tons of sweets and bread. We left with bread and lots of leftovers. Recommend, arrive hungry!

Something like a five. Was nice, this newish corner bakery/coffee shop. Super friendly. Plenty of interesting confections and savory bakery items to choose from. Love, love, love the cross Latin/Caribbean mix of flavors and choices you don't see everywhere. They're really doing it right, place is fresh and new.Solid Cafe con letche and flaky beef pastry I'm not even sure what it was called but was delicious. ...break out the car vac. LolEnjoyable.

4 Stars for some tasty treats including guava pastelitos and alfajores!A friend had a bunch of food from El Triunfo delivered to my house for my birthday and it was a big hit! In terms of packaging, everything was packed well and the alfajores (cookies filled with a delicious caramel, aka manjarblanco) were in a plastic container with colorful paper and ribbon tied around it. I love how festive it looked! My favorite items were the alfajores and the guava pastelitos (be careful when warming this up because the guava becomes hot as lava!). I also really enjoyed the fried casava cakes which, though pretty oily, were deliciously starchy and filled with cheese.I was less a fan of the tres leches, which was served in a cup and had a blended texture, rather than a cake. It tasted great, but the texture was a bit off. Overall, a great option for delivery. I'll have to make it into the restaurant in person next time!

The cornmeal empanadas are delicious. Staff is friendly and everyone's wearing masks. Try the mousse de maracuya (passion fruit). Everything I've had has been perfect. If you're lucky you might catch the pan de bono fresh out of the oven (so good).

Best Latin cafe in the area. Everything is always made fresh. Staff is extremely friendly. Even the inside of the cafe is nicely decorated. Their food, drinks, everything is great. Better than Mecatos in my opinion.

I wanted to love this place. I had planned to stop at another restaurant in this same plaza, but when I arrived they were closed for Lunar New Year. Time to try something new and this place seemed to have good ratings. I walked in on a Saturday and looked around the display case. Saw they had specials in a placard on top of the display case and I looked for something for lunch. The cuban and a soda for $7.95 seemed like a great deal, so I ordered it. Unfortunately the woman who was taking my order did not speak english and my spanish is just as bad. She asked the owner/manager and he said he would take my order. I asked for combination special #4 and he rang me up. When I pointed out the price was now $5 more than the combo, he pointed out that in very small type the placard (that was still on the display case on a Saturday) that said (in spanish only) Monday through Friday. I am not suggesting they need to run their specials seven days a week, but they do either need to remove the promotion from next to the register and/or let the customer know when order said combo that they'll be paying another price.Anyway, they popped out at one point and asked me what kind of sauce I wanted on my sandwich - mild, medium? I did not know a cuban came with that as an option, so I said none. Out came a ham and cheese sandwich with no mustard, no pork, no pickles. No flavor at all. I ate half and decided it was not worth the extra calories. On the flip side, I also asked for one of their quesoditos with guava and cheese. It was GREAT!! My guess is that this place does some other things very well, but my sandwich (and experience) were well below average.
