This place specialize in seafood what I like the best about this place was the garlic shrimp with my fungo also they did a great salad of cartucho also had and empanada of octopus really really good . The carne de cerdo frita was pretty good Just needs quite a bit of lime so I could taste better I would definitely recommend this place will not try the frappe the food with anything seafood definitely will try again.

This place is top notch, very friendly, out in the open so you get fresh air. Reminds me of my favorite foods from Puerto Rico it make me feel like I'm right at home. The food is great , love the mofongo, love the way they season the chicken or chicharrón de pollo. Is close to home plus they also takeout. It's so good every time I go there it's packed but I'm willing to wait for a plate of delicious food. If you want to try some Hispanic food el Rincon Isleño is the right place to go

We first visit this place around two years ago and we were impressed with the food. We've been wanting to go back for a while and we finally did, We order three mofongo plates two with pulpo and one with carrucho. In addition we order two beef alcapurrias and one sorruyo de maiz. We waited quite a bit for the food, long enough for my cold drink to be completely hot! We started with the alcapurrias and they were just ok ... then we open the mofongo with pulpo to find out that it was not fresh, pretty sure it was canned pulpo! The same with the carrucho... our last hope was the sorruyo de maiz and to our surprise instead of cheddar cheese it had mozzarella cheese! Total different taste. Biggest waste of 60 bucks!
