Amazing authentic Mexican food! Best one I've tried near Apopka. The service was excellent and the ambiance is very pleasant too.i will be returning

This place is a HIDDEN GEM! I've drove by this place many times, but we decided to stop by today. I am speechless at how good everything was! The server was sweet, she quickly took our food and drink order and the food came out quickly as well. I had the menudo (beef tripe soup) and it was the BEST one I've had at any restaurant. I also had two barbacoa (slow cooked shredded beef) tacos that were amazing and super authentic they reminded me of home. Sister had the burrito with cheese on top and she said it was great. The aguas frescas were all so good and homemade, honestly the best horchata I've ever had. Overall, this place really took my breath away. I left here wanting to come back asap. You won't regret coming here!

If you are looking for a hole in the wall Mexican food then El Korita is the place to be, at least in Zellwood.I had driven by before but by chance we stopped off for lunch because we were really hungry. The place looked dead except for the little neon sign in the window. When driving down 441 you will miss this place if you blink.I am curious about the original purpose of the building. It has sliding glass doors on the sides and it must have had no central heat and air because the air handler is in the main roomThe bathrooms are short of make shift but very clean. The tables were all clean and the space used was smart. The juke box is a nice touch. The television is interesting which was playing channel 9news. We were the only customers but a few locals came in to get tacos while we waited. Two other tables eventually had customers. The waitress brought us chips and salsa quickly. You could tell it was not the typical store bought stuff. The salsa was not sweet and actually hot,as in spicy. We ordered a chimichanga and burrito smothered with green Chile sauce. Both plates had refried beans, rice and lettuce/tomatoes. They provided squeeze bottle of sour cream. Service was ok a little slow, but the food was good. Definitely worth one visit, but I wouldn't deliberately drive a long distance to eat here, only if I were in the neighborhood.

Delicious food :-) I had to order to go since I had my dog in the car and they were nice enough to bring it out to me. The tacos are authentic Mexican on a corn tortilla and just like I got them in Chicago. I've been looking for something authentic since I moved here five years ago and have finally found it. It will be worth a 35 minute drive from Winter Springs!!!

Best tacos I have eaten. The price for amount of meat is incredible compared to tacos with less meat for double the price. The inside is nice and the woman taking your order is friendly. I would come here more if I didn't live 50 minutes away.
