We picked up takeout from this restaurant six days ago, and unfortunately, two of our meals were not up to par. The mahi mahi in both dishes was extremely overcooked. However, Tatiana, the restaurant manager, reached out that same evening to apologize and invited us back to try the dish again, prepared properly.Today, we returned for takeout, ordering two grouper Chorillana dishes (which we paid for), and Tatiana generously included the two mahi mahi dishes from last week, along with a flan dessert, at no charge. What a difference! Last week, the flavors were there, but the fish was overcooked. This time, the mahi mahi was cooked perfectly! That said, I still prefer the grouper for this particular Chorillana dish. The mahi mahi ceviche, however, was exceptional! just the right amount of spice and lime, perfectly balanced and delicious.I'm so glad we gave them another shot. The dining room was clean and inviting, with classy yet understated decor. It's clear that they care about their customers and their dining experience. We'll definitely be back!

Went in for lunch midday and we were able to be seated immediately. There was a very strong odor of maybe garlic (it's a restaurant so obviously you smell food) but it was so overpowering and I almost needed to sit outside. If you're sensitive to smells just be prepared. The menu is extensive and there's a picture menu and a written menu. We are familiar with some Peruvian food but this was different than anything we had tried before. We got the beef heart appetizer which was very good, but there were a few pieces that were overly tough and could barely be cut with a knife. The sauces and size of the portions were great. I got the chicken with beans and rice and the chicken was very thin, but the rice and beans was so large, yet there was an odd sweeter flavor that I did not care for in the rice. My partner got the steak and rice with egg and plantain and that was phenomenal. His rice was savory and the egg was perfect. The steak was cooked just right. I wish I got what he got! Overall, the menu and flavors did not entice me too much, but he really liked it. I think we were split 50/50 on if we'd come back. The service was super friendly and attentive though which was nice to see. They didn't make you feel bad for trying a new cuisine which I appreciated.

We have eaten lunch here a few times and have always enjoyed it. We have tried their sandwiches and lunch specials. It's never been crowded. The service has been good. They offer their regular menu and one with pictures for those who don't know much about Peruvian food, like us. I'm not sure what the corn/nuts are they give you free, but I like them. They offer some outdoor seating, and allow pets out there, but it's not a large space and you'll have lots of pedestrians walking past your table.

Our server was great. Waited a little longer for entree but the pollo saltado was nothing special I like taste of Peru better. I heard they are known for their ceviche more.

The food and service here was great! Our waitress was very helpful and explained everything well. I tried the Picante de Mariscos, which was a seafood stew with a slightly spicy, creamy sauce and came with white rice. I also tried the Chicha Morada drink which is a sweetened purple corn drink with lime and spices and was absolutely delicious! My friend enjoyed her Ceviche Mixta. For dessert, I got the Lucuma Indulgence Chocolate which was lucuma ice cream with a chocolate cake and chocolate frosting and sauce. All the food I tried was very good and well prepared, I would absolutely come back here again.

After 15 years in Miami, being used to excellent Peruvian food, we moved to Orlando and just found this place to be the Real Deal. The Food is genuine, the Pisco sours, both traditional lime and passion fruit, are delicious (I like the way they do them extra cold almost frosty). The service very professional and caring by Tatiana (Thanks!). Being first time, we tried the traditional Chaufa rice with shrimps, Ceviche with Rocoto sauce, Fried calamari and Huancaina potatoes. All delicious and very tasty. The ambiance is ok with Peruvian background music (we went mid-afternoon on a Tuesday). We will definitely be back for what looks like awesome lunch specials and also Happy Hour M-F starting 4-7PM. Plus, the owner, Ivan, is there checking on everything. As they said when I use to travel to Lima; ¡Taipá!

I have traveled and EATEN extensively throughout Peru and this is some of the most incredible and authentic Peruvian food I have found in or outside of that nation. The Pisco and ceviche is incredible and the owner, Ivan, and the incredible staff made this one of the best (and longest) lunches I have had for quite some time. Give this place a try. You will be back. I know I certainly will. Incredible place!!!

Not sure why the Yelp rating is so low! Hopefully my review helps raise it from its current score of 3.7. I love this place. It had been a while since I had come in since I don't live here anymore and have also been doing a lot of traveling. However, I was craving ceviche tonight and decided to have dinner here with my mother. It's very comfortable and casual here. The service is warm, friendly, and attentive. They always bring the complimentary dried corn appetizer with salt, which I love. Tonight, we shared a ceviche mixto and a lomo saltado. Both were great! The ceviche was perfectly spicy and the seafood and other ingredients tasted so fresh and delicious. The lomo saltado was tasty, with crunchy fries, yummy rice soaking up the sauce, and flavorful beef, grilled onions, etc. For our fries, our server brought us ketchup, a spicy sauce, and a green sauce to dip them in. We enjoyed them all but our favorite was the green sauce. We left feeling satisfied, with leftovers to go. Prices across the whole menu are pretty high, but the portions are big. Thank you for serving us--we look forward to continue to be returning customers.

I forget what my boy got but he cleaned his plate in less than 5 minutes and we proceeded to to order the beef heart appetizer as we craved more.I'll be sure to stop here on my next Orlando trip!
