El Cerro

This is my second time grabbing a bite to eat before work. Today the service was very great nice young man helped me allowed me to try certain things and was knowledgeable about what he was serving. He put me onto something I've never had before. Would definitely recommend food was good.

Great place. Everyone is so helpful. The place is small but the food is spectacular and fast. Every time I visit Groveland this place is just around the corner in Clarmont. I am a big fan and will be back!

I came for the mofongo! Be sure to call ahead to order the mofongo, because it's made upon ordering it; most of the other food is on display (serving style). This is a primarily, take-out restaurant with a few inside tables for dining. I ordered the empanada, mofongo, and beef stew. The beef and sauce was very good; could be more tender, but the sauce on the mofongo was delicious. The empanada was okay... I may skip it next time, because it was a bit dry, or ask for a dipping sauce. The customer service was superb! The gentleman at the cash register provided recommendations, was friendly, and personable. I definitely recommend supporting this local business.

Food was not good at all. The service was great and the ladies were super friendly but the food was pretty bad. I was looking for some home cooked Latin food and this was not it. The pollo guisado (chicken stew) tasted like straight tomato sauce. The pernil (shredded pork shoulder) was super soft and salty. The juices were good but that's about it. I'm disappointed because like I said the ladies behind the counter were awesome and funny. If you're Hispanic and looking for some Hispanic food this not the place to go.if your not used to traditional Hispanic food you might like it

Always consistent, always hot, always fresh food served. Great place for lunch or dinner. Small dining area always busy and always make sure that the counters are clean. Definitely recommend the baked ribs marinated to perfection....love this place.

The food at El Cerro is the Best ! Especially their Breakfast, as well as everything on the menu. I recommend this place hands down.

Food is tasteful! Really good variety of Spanish food. Their mofongo is the best! Staffing is kind and phenomenal.

Love their pasteles!! Buy them by the dozen!! Especially great at Christmas...Great service and atmosphere.

Great food! I didn't sit in so I'm not sure how the service is this was a delivery but the food was great. So are the prices and portions
