Don Julio Mexican Kitchen & Tequila Bar - Eagle Creek

The service was great. This is an upselling machine but worth it. I loved the chips and couldn't stop eating them. They came out warm and so darn good. I would highly recommend the Michelin Star rib eye tacos - they cook them to your temperature (medium rare was perfect) and just melted in your mouth. The rice was ok - get spicy sauce if you want more of a kick. Great fun atmosphere and my skinny margarita had quite the punch to it!!

Don Julio is a good spot for lunch. It's not so crazy and loud as it is at dinner. On top of that, the food is really good too.I had the lunch order of tacos al pastor. The flavor was on point- more flavorful that those of other restaurants.I also got an order of tostones. They were fine, but they were smashed thinner and fried harder than I prefer. If that's how you like them then you're in for a treat.

This place changed the way we looked at gourmet Mexican food. This restaurant is located right outside the heart of Lake Nona. The ambience says it all. As you drive by you can tell it's going to be an interesting visit. The entrance is graced by a m outside porch that's connected directly behind the bar. The parking lot is often used for outside public parties for cinco de mayo as well as other celebrations. As you walk by to the hosts stand, you noticed the extend seating towards the front and the side of the building. This place gets busy. As you get seated you walk by the front of the restaurant which divides in the right side with the bar and booths as well as high rises seating close to the restrooms. The left side has the larger area for larger parties. Favorite dished has to be the beef soup. It was hearty and well made. The guacamole is also a must.

I just came here with my family and friends last week and he was a great experience. I like this restaurant because when we think about eating Mexican, this is exactly what we think about. I love that. This is a fun place to eat, they have lots of colors , a fun bar , Mexican music , and he just put you in a good mood . They're very creative with the dishes and drinks, and service is always very good. Did last time we ordered a few tacos (fish, shrimp, vegetarian, and steak). We love how the presentation makes a difference and it even taste better. (With the fish tacos the only disappointment was that they were fried). Other than that, even though this is a very busy place, we always find parking.

This is my favorite place for Mexican food in the area. The food never disappoints. I love getting the Birria tacos. The queso is so good. I love the bright vibrant colors. The service is always quick! Tuesday's is taco Tuesday and that means $4 tacos! I'm down for $4 Birria tacos! I always get the skinny margarita. You can't go wrong here!

Don Julio didn't disappoint! While the wait was a bit longer due to their popularity, it was absolutely worth it. The vegetarian chimichangas and plantains were out of this world - a flavor explosion in every bite! The service, though a bit slower, was still friendly and attentive. If you're looking for authentic Mexican food that's worth the wait, Don Julio is the place to be.

First, it's a great place to hang out. Lots of music and energy, bring your friends and family. Second, the people. The service is amazing. They stay on top of everything from front to back. Your water is never empty and the staff is always coming by to check on your food. Third, the food itself is served in giant portions with lots of flavor (usually garlic). Consistently good, I definitely recommend it for a night out or with a bunch of friends. Fun is the keyword!!

Atmosphere is FUN, friendly, festive, and just loud enough. Great bar to watch games. Place was packed! Service was good. Priced affordably. Menu is large. Lots of variety. We had the chicken fajitas and the Don Julio bowl/taco salad with grilled vegetables. Both delicious. Complimentary chips and salsa was a nice touch.

The food was very good and good amount of food. You definitely get your moneys worth and belly's satisfaction It also came out very quickly I had the Hawaiian chicken with cilantro rice & plantains - delicious The service was on point, very friendly staff The ambiance was fun loved the "party" music. And decor beautiful place to celebrate
