This Mexican restaurant was delicious. We will definitely be back! Fantastic food! Pork carnitas, asada, and al pastor. 1st place Al pastor2nd place pork carnitas3rd place asadaAll of them were winners!!

We went on a Saturday evening and the place was packed, but we were seated right away with a party of 4. The restaurant itself was very loud and it was hard to hear anyone else. It definitely had a very lively atmosphere, but not a good place to go if you are hoping to have good conversations. Our waitress was very friendly though and even with how crowded it was service was very quick The food was tasty and on par with other Mexican restaurants I have been to in the area! I wouldn't say it is anything special, but if you are craving Mexican it will definitely hit the spot. I later saw that they are known for their Birria, so that is likely what I will try next time. I got the Enchiladas Rancheras which were yummy and filled me up. The chicken and veggies are all on top, with the enchiladas being filled with cheese. I loved the Mexican rice that was served on the side!Overall, we had a good meal, just wish the music was a bit quieter. The food is average and will definitely leave you feeling satisfied.

The waitress at lunch was super rude! The lunch menu offered a choice of rice or beans. I told the waitress after I originally placed my order that I forgot to give her my choice & I wanted beans. She said no you can only get rice. I showed her on the menu it's a choice of either. She said no & scolded me for asking for the lunch menu & went on about how the menu is wrong & I shouldn't have asked for a lunch menu (at lunch!) Her spanking definitely spoiled a nice lunch out. This local patron since day 1 will not be back. Thank you Jaqueline E! PS Happy to remove the review if management bothers to respond that the lunch menus are fixed & attitudes are adjusted.

Love Don Julio's! Such a staple in Lake Mary. It's always busy on the weekends and the happy hour is worth making it to as well! The chimichanga is delicious, I ordered the grilled chicken and the flavor was great I would just ask for more red sauce on the side cause it's so tasty Fast service and fresh food is always a plus and we always enjoy our time. On this particular Friday there was a DJ outside which was a nice vibe

I was in town for a conference and decided to check out Don Julio! I went on a Friday night. The ambiance is very vibrant and there was a DJ. It was nice but a bit loud to have conversations. They give complimentary chips and salsa. I sat at the bar with my friend because it was busy and seats were open at the bar. I had a Mai Thai which was good and had the Birria tacos which was good, however not the best I have ever had. The service was good. Good for a Friday night dining out.

I've been here so many times I honestly don't know how I've never reviewed this place. This place is always lively and a fun happy hour spot. The service here is great and fast. Everything here is so good I don't really think you can order something you won't like here. The drinks are really strong here. The queso here is amazing. My favorite thing to get here is the Chimichanga or the Quesadilla. If you want good Mexican food you should definitely come here.

Decided I should update my review since the last one was 6 years ago. Since then, I've visited multiple times and always have a decent meal. Last night, I stopped in with a girlfriend and grabbed a margarita and their birria tacos. I feel like the tacos were filled pretty well compared to other birria tacos I've had from different establishments. The meat was tender and had great flavor. I feel like the portion of consommé could have been a bit more though. I had to kinda "smash" the taco into the sauce to get a decent amount. Other than that- great service, good vibes and yummy food.

Don Julio is a welcoming and delicious place for date, family and treat nights. Ambar greeted us with smile and made sure our food and service was to our liking. She is super!I highly recommend the Carnitas Chimichanga. The taste melts in your mouth and rice and salad were perfect compliments to the dish.

We went for lunch. The food was amazingly good. I have tried many Mexican restaurants, and this one the best. By the way. The drinks were very good too. they certainly were not shy on the tequila

Food was delicious and Lily was sweet and took great care of us! We had the sampler to try a little of everything. The grilled steak was our favorite!
