We are out of town season passholders for Universal Studios. We often stay at dockside due to its affordability and convenience. We absolutely love the Dockside Pier 8 Market!!!We were here during Hurricane Milton which was chaotic to say the least, and the market was still efficiently run with a large variety of food options. Our Pass Holder discount works here as well, so that is always a plus. Of note, the kids meals offer a decent portion and affordable price, don't forget to get your included drink if you take advantage of that offering! The pizzas and burgers tend to be my go-to. And I like the kids breakfast option in the morning. They also have fresh squeezed juices, the green is my fave! The salad bar is another one of our go-to's. They even have a small variety of alcoholic beverages.

Really good variety of foods for breakfast lunch and dinner! They have a buffet style salad bar, fruits, children's "lunch box" with uncrustables, cheese, juice and fruits. Chicken and waffles, pizza, pasta, sandwiches and their honey chicken with broccoli and rice is a must try! We've tried pretty much a good variety of what they offer and have never been disappointed. There's also plenty of seating and high chairs for the little ones Food is reasonably priced apart from breakfast which can be a little expensive for what you get, depending on what you order. Team members are always super friendly and patient and the service is great

Stayed at Dockside for 11 days, so we ate here quite a few times during our stay. In my opinion, the food is mediocre and not worth the price. If you're planning on eating here a lot I suggest looking into the many options around the hotel that are just a short drive away. I get the convenience of the cafeteria style offerings, but you'll grow tired of eating it believe me.The Pier 8 Market is on the lobby level near the Tower 1 breezeway. As mentioned before this is a cafeteria style dining option that offers several different counter to order at depending on what you're wanting. They also have several beverages (wine and beer selections as well), fresh fruit, salad bar, and a section for grab n go sandwiches, chips, and ice cream.Pro tip: they have an option of buying a refillable souvenir cup. Depending on the amount of time you're here will determine the price, but you'll get unlimited refills. The cups are very small and don't fit a lot in them, so you'll be needing to refill them often. But is convenient to have for pool/resort days if you need one and doubles as a take home gift.On to the food: the chicken and waffles was pretty good. Chicken was crispy and juicy - the waffles were alright, nothing special here. The pizza is pretty good. Those two options were probably the best thing I ate at the market during my stay. They filled me up, but it wasn't over the top by any means. The bacon burger was not good. Bacon wasn't even cooked all the way and was flimsy. The Mac n cheese is nasty I recommend skipping if you're getting the chicken, go with the mashed potatoes. Our group didn't have a good experience with breakfast offerings. I had the steak and egg quesadilla and it had clearly been sitting on the warmer for a while. It was eatable, but upset my stomach once I got to the parks. Someone else got the ham and cheese croissant and he said it was rock hard and ended up throwing it away. Grab n go and the pastry/deserts were a great snack to grab! The donuts were alright along with several of their cheesecakes. If you're eating here, ask them to make it fresh; otherwise, you'll likely get something that has sat on a food warmer for an extended period of time. You'll have to wait longer, but it will make for a better dinning experience. You can get it for here to eat in the dinning room or to-go to eat in your room. Avoid peek dinner times to avoid long lines. Again, I suggest looking around the resort and getting a better meal for the same price.

So many different choices! I really enjoyed the steak and egg quesadilla! Delicious and filling. Wait times were not bad at all and finding a table was easy. I do wish they would allow refills on fountain drinks, but alas.

Such a huge variety of food options! Most items were very affordable, but I would recommend avoiding the fountain soda as it was tiny and super overpriced, plus we were charged a ($2) surcharge for purchasing a non-alcoholic open cup drink in the evening. Otherwise the food options were very decent, well priced, and had something for every one. 99% of the staff were so freaking nice and helpful as well! The dining area is so brightly lit, modern, and clean. This market will definitely be a contributing factor to our choosing this hotel in the future as it was such a hassle free option for dining before or after hitting the parks.

Loved the convenience of this eatery being in our hotel during our stay. We had dinner once and breakfast two times here. Each time wasn't too horribly busy, and I really liked the private booths. Food was below average quality, so I'd recommend sticking with simple Pre-made items. Fresh squeezed orange juice and a surprisingly good croissant were the highlights. You can also purchase bottles of wine, cocktails, and cases of bottled water. Very expensive but convenient. Bottled water was around $3/ea. Or ~$15 for a case of 12.

Jermaine who works in the macaroni station is a fantastic employee. Very nice. The human equivalent of a ray of sunshine. No joke. Give him a raise.
