Denny's

We typically go to this Denny's and order food to go late at night. It's usually one of the only places open, but don't let that make you think that the quality suffers. Every time we go I get the steak and eggs with hashbrowns and toast. The steak is always cooked to my liking and well seasoned. Everything is tasty. I don't think we've actually ever eaten inside the restaurant, but inside usually has a good size crowd. The waitresses are very nice and accommodating, and I've never felt uncomfortable waiting for my food to be prepared.

First time at this particular location and, overall, it was pretty good. My family of 4 and I entered around 2pm to have lunch last Saturday and we were seated immediately. Our waitress was patient while she took our orders. My husband and I each ordered one of the daily breakfast deals. My son got chocolate chip pancakes and my daughter got buttermilk pancakes. The food did take a while to come out but when it did, everything was good and tasty. The women's restroom was a little unclean and there were no paper towels to dry hands.But overall a nice location and we will probably be back.

Eaten there 3 times since moving to Sanford in July! Food was delicious and hot every time we ordered. The prices are great too. Don't miss this old time favorite! They do it right at this location.

Had a great experience with Michael as our server, he was courteous, helpful, and friendly. Got our drinks quickly, and also checked on us many times throughout our meal. Food was quick and hot and tasty, thank you Denny's for always being on the money! Christopher was a great cook too, even came to apologize because he felt the food came out a little late, we had no issues whatsoever with the timing and truly enjoyed our meal.

Food was decent but our check was delivered before the food and the silverware was nasty.

Denny's likes to bill itself as America's diner and while I understand that it is just a marketing term, I grew up in New Jersey and Denny's will never compare to the great diners that I grew up surrounded by.Still, there is something to be scared about the consistency of the meals at Denny's provides. I would definitely say that their breakfasts are the better meals and the ones that I would suggest getting while visiting Denny's. The Moons Over My Hammy is a classic Denny's dish, basically a ham and egg sandwich, and a good way to go if you are looking for breakfast.The service here was quick, professional, efficient and most of all, friendly.Denny's is never going to be an excellent option to go to free their breakfast, lunch, or dinner. But in their defense, I don't think any national chain of medium-priced for lower-priced dining options will ever be a true challenge to the local mom-and-pop businesses in terms of culinary offerings. Sadly though, a lot of these local mom-and-pop establishments hold because of these established National chains just because people go there because they are familiar with what they're getting. Again, there is nothing wrong with Danny's. I ended up here for breakfast meeting with a client and I am sure the reason he chose it is because he looked for a convenient spot that we would both know and be familiar with.Overall, I will give it four stars.

James was amazing, he's so kind and gave me some free pancake puppies. I came in around 1am and got my food done really quick too.

Hailey is so adorable and super sweet service was bomb and we came around 12/1am!! Food was fast and fresh!

The food was nicely presented and tasted good. The young hostess was chatty but well meaning.A terrible pervasive odor in the bathroom smelled unrelated to bodily functions. I tried unsuccessfully to determine the cause quickly before exiting. The rust topped trash can was covered by soiled paper towels despite a working foot pedal and a half empty can. Which leads me to think that customers will leave rooms as they find them. A tidy room will likely be left tidy, My experience in the bathroom caused me to take a better look at the area surrounding my table. Again I see paper scattered beneath a nearby table. I'm sorry the people in the community you serve. They deserve a cleaner restaurant.
