Our group stopped for brunch on the way home from Blue Springs Park. We were all so impressed!! Can't wait to return. A few of what impressed us:- delicious press coffee- biscuits and gravy to die for- fried chicken Caesar salad (can't wait I eat this again)- instead of sugar, little tubs of simple sugar (love)- high quality napkins - great service

WoW -- this vintage hotel -- bar-- restaurant is full of charm. Bartender Ryan crafts quite a nice drink -- the cocktail menu is creative and served with style. The Black Manhattan, Old Fashion, & the Red Wine blend were all greatly enjoyed. The food menu is equally enticing, my Filet Bulgogi Fries were delicious, and I look forward to sampling more menu items. There is inside seating in the Bar & restaurant as well as patio & front porch outside areas. The vintage ambiance and friendly staff make this Deland spot exceptional. I especially like that it is a couple blocks off the main tourist drag -- Quiet & easy to walk to or there is parking in back.

Absolutely the worst eggs Benedict I've ever eaten in my life matter fact I couldn't even eat it. It came out with no ham and virtually no hollandaise sauce then on top of that they said they had to up charge me $.50 per egg. Definitely don't recommend this restaurant.

My wife and I went in for a hamburger. They use the smash burger technique. Absolutely delicious. The beautiful antique bar is comforting and makes one feel that the elegant past is here in the present. We ordered a couple of cocktails. We're a bit along the lines of cocktail snobs, and at home make pre-prohibition and prohibition era craft cocktails. Let me tell you, the woman who served us (she and her husband own the hotel) made absolutely fantastic cocktails up to the level we're used to making at home. We'll definitely go back.

Food was average. Monday and Tuesday has a limited menu and you have to eat in the bar. Dont think I will return.

This is a hidden treasure. This historic hotel is tucked away on New York Avenue, several blocks east of Woodland Blvd. and has indoor and outdoor patio seating for dining but check the hours before heading there. However the newly modeled bar has a classic, spacious and luxurious feel. They have top shelf liquors and make excellent cocktails. Check it out!

I called for a last minute reservation the morning of myself and a few girlfriends wanting to do a brunch. I didn't expect to get a table and figured we'd wait but the hostess was so accommodating. Although it sounded like she was booked for the time we requested, she gave me a few options. We ended up choosing 2 split tables inside next to each other. When we got there the tables still had others seated at them and they felt really bad so we ended up moving outside. It was a little chilly but nothing unbearable. We didn't order drinks because a few had driving from very far. For brunch I got the smash burger with an egg, and a side of bacon. Everything was cooked perfect. The girl next to me had ordered the grilled cheese and that looked fire as well ((however, it did included ham, which looked rather fatty so definitely keep that in mind)) everyone else's food looked amazing! Our waitress was so attentive and our food came out within reasonable time. I can't wait to go back!
