The food was Not good. It definitely did not taste fresh at all. Don't waste your money.

My husband loves a good fried chicken restaurant so I brought him here. It's super close to the Altamonte Mall so we made both stops on the same trip & made a day out of it since we live decently far away.The interior is funky with lots of fun graffiti artwork on the walls. You order at a counter and then find a seat and they call your name. My husband and I both got medium spice chicken with fries and we shared a mac & cheese. With drinks it's around $15 per person for a decent portion of food. The medium spice chicken isn't too spicy, which makes sense since they have a few levels of spice above that as well. I was a little disappointed at them not having ranch but the Dave's sauce (mayo/ketchup type sauce) was actually delicious and perfectly cooling for the spicy chicken. The mac & cheese was super creamy, we loved it. I had plenty of chicken for leftovers so very happy with the portion of food for the price.

I stopped in after watching the Orlando Pride soccer game as I haven't had Dave's in some time. This location is readily easy to get to and locate in the plaza off of Cranes Roost Blvd. Since I was familiar with the menu, this time I wanted to keep it simple and get the tenders. So I went with the #1 which was 2 tenders with fries, served on bread and pickles. I went with the hot seasoning for both tenders. The service is always friendly and the restaurant is very clean and decorated with bright colors. I decided to dine in so I could enjoy eating my food thoroughly. The tenders are huge, very meat, and juicy. They were perfectly fried to perfection and seasoned very well with their dry rub. The hot flavor is good if you like a kick, I definitely could've went hotter to extra hot, so I'll give that a go next time. The sauce is good, it's a creamy mayo chipotle based sauce that compliments that fries and tenders. The fries were evenly coated and well seasoned. I really do like that the menu is pretty simple with 4 main choices with additional sides and desserts. The tenders are definitely huge and my eyes were bigger than my stomach, so thankfully I took the other tender and remainder of my fries to go with extra sauce. The cashier did recommend trying the Dave's cauliflower bites as she was not a big veggie eater and liked how similar they are to the tenders. I would say check it out if you like Nashville hot chicken style or just want a good chicken tender to satisfy your craving!

It all happened in one week...First, a buddy of mine texted me a picture of his sandwich from Dave's Hot Chicken.. captioned "BROHHHH !!!Second another buddy of mine sent me a social media link of this place.Third another buddy of mine coming back from Orlando sent me a pic of his sandwich, urging me to try this place out. That is all she wrote. So during Spring Break, Dave's Hot Chicken was on my go-to list. And I already knew what I wanted to order, THE 2 Sliders Meal. Heat level, I ordered the HOT. Then it was a waiting game. The waiting gave me enough time to check out the art on the walls, an artsy ambience. When I finally received my order, I couldn't wait to take my first bite. What a big mistake. First bites in, despite the sandwich being temperature hot, plus the combination of the heat of the spice sent my palate screaming like a mutha. Had me believing that the Devil made sandwich. It was HOT AF. But I couldn't stop chewing even when I started to sweat from the heat. The spices slapping my senses and tongue. IT WAS SO GOOD. All in all, the sandwich was definitely worth it. Nice big tenders + nicely seasoned + perfectly cooked. I plan on coming back. And when I do, I will patiently wait for my sandwich to cool down enough, so I can enjoy every bite of it. See you soon, Dave's Hot Chicken.

This is a nice little chicken sandwich shop. The location is super cute and the staff are nice. I ordered the #2, my husband got the extra hot and I got the medium. The sandwich wasn't labeled so I took a small bite of the extra hot and boy do I regret it. My mouth was on fire. My husband was sweating through the entire sandwich but he said it was good. I love their signature sauce that they put on the sandwiches and the slaw is soooooo good! I liked their pickles too. I've had a lot of cheese fries from burger/chicken shops in orlando and this has to be the best I've had. It has the little spice to it, but it isn't spicy. My son liked the Mac and cheese. It was an okay size for the price. I was suprised at how much I liked the sandwich. I'll def be back but I'm never going past medium lol you've been warned, their hot flavors will leave you drenched in sweat.

I will preface this review with this: I'm a BIG fried chicken gal - a connoisseur if you will. And I've had my fair share of Nashville hot chicken. So bare this in mind as I give my feedback For me, a good fried chicken has the following: it's a meaty, crispy fried, tender white meat chicken, and well seasoned. The worst fried chicken in my opinion is skimpy/thin, lacks seasoning, and is crispy and DRY. Now, onto the review. On my first visit to Dave's hot chicken, I didn't know what to expect from the spice level, so I went with light-mild seasoning. I honestly thought I could have gone hotter, and maybe this would have added to the experience a bit more. The chicken was well-seasoned (and the fries on the side), and it was a fairly meaty chicken breast, with the perfect crispy crust. The Dave's sauce was decent, but didn't stand out compared to other similar sauces you find at other chain fried chicken joints. I'm a big sauce gal, so the fact that the only offered their signature sauce, ketchup, and honey was a tad disappointing. But I did lather up the chicken with honey and it definitely helped! If you like dry-rub fried chicken, then this is your spot. If you're a saucy queen like me - then I would either ask for extra Dave's sauce for the milder sando's, or up the heat and add some honey! The employee working the register, Derek, was very sweet and helpful! I will be back to try the medium-hot sandwhich and give an update.

Omg! Amazing chicken!! I was blown away by how crispy Dave's chicken was. The chicken is flavored well and the spicy was tolerable. I like their menu as you're able to pick and choose and even Ala cart if needed. The service was effective and the cashiers were very friendly and helped me with my order. Overall, great place to grab and go or enjoy lunch! Will be returning.

Alright guys I have to admit, coming from outside the state, Dave's Hot Chicken in Altamonte Springs was an incredible experience. The service was phenomenal, the food was phenomenal but what made it extraordinary was the quality. Compared to the other guys, Dave's definitely delivers! The quality and quantity of food is great! Listen you have to get the Dave's slider number 2, it has exactly what you want when you want to explore each and every taste bud you have! I highly recommend getting the hot for their flavors! It's not overwhelming I promise and it's packed with flavor! You have to get the tenders and sliders because you get the best of both worlds. The sliders piled high with their thick cut sliders, coleslaw and pickles! Yummy! Juicy chicken breast works perfectly with all the condiments. I would love to give a huge THANK YOU and shout to to Maliya! She was so sweet and definitely went above and beyond to ensure our experience went perfectly! I also love the fact that Dave's is extremely generous with not only their workers BUT they offer more of their famous sauce to anyone that asks! You can have all the famous sauce and honey packets as you like!

Our first impression, upon entry into the restaurant, was that it didn't seem very clean. The young man behind the counter was friendly and answered our inquiries about the spice levels. We ordered a few things and while we waited for our order, we were distracted by the young lady sweeping the dirty floors. She literally used the same broom to sweep the tables. I wasn't the only one shocked. It was disgusting. She noticed us looking and asked why. I told her I was shocked and wondered if she was going to spray and wipe the tables. She said she would and she did but yuck! Food wasn't great after seeing that. I would never go back.
