Came here to redeem a Groupon offer and had a mixed experience. The food was good but the service was rude. I felt like we were being judged based on the servers responses and behaviors. It was pretty uncomfortable. Also, if you are using a Groupon, there's a sign outside of the restaurant that says to notify them before. Makes me think that they either serve you a different portion and/or give you a different menu. It's been a very long time since I was here and I finally wanted to get around to finishing my review draft. I came here with my ex, his mom and his sister when we were on a trip to Orlando. That experience in itself should say something lol NOT the most pleasant to begin with. I know the service here sure didn't make it any better. My ex's sister I guess isn't a fan ethnic food (go figure bc she's Hispanic...) and she ordered the chicken fingers. When the entree came out, we all almost fell over laughing. Take a look at my photo! It's literally kid's frozen chicken nuggets and a few sad French fries. I honestly couldn't tell you what I ordered bc apparently I didn't take a photo. I'm guessing my ex got the curry chicken bc that's what he always got. The Indian food itself wasn't bad and I think they give you free papadum and chutney to start. Overall I won't be recommending this restaurant and I certainly won't be back. Groupon or no Groupon.

Nice Indian buffet in the Lake Buena Vista area, located in a shopping center. Attentive excellent service. The food was tasty and delicious. In particular, the naan, chicken biryani, chicken tikka, braised goat, onion bhajia and the rice pudding dessert were very good. The mango lassis were delicious as well.

My family and I went in here to enjoy Indian cuisine. I've yet to find Indian food within close proximity to us but this place is phenomenon. The service and food are nothing less than quality. Samosas are great and the chicken Dahlie is absolutely wonderful matched with rice and your favorite naan.Salim gave us great service. He was friendly and extremely attentive. I definitely recommend checking it out!

Really good Indian food. I went there for lunch and found out they had a lunch special of $9.95 - rice, chicken, spices.....The place closes at 2:30pm, when we were there it was close to 2:30pm, but the owner Salin was nice enough to accommodate us for a late meal. Definitely a place we will go back for sure!

SO DELICIOUS!!!We came here for the lunch special buffet and wasn't disappointed. It's not a huge spread, but everything is super-tasty. The chicken Tikka was clearly broiled with char marks here and there to add flavor. The peas were so robust and was a surprise favorite of mine. The bread was light and airy.Service was super quick and friendly too.

I had been hankering for Indian food for over a week; I was tired, running on three hours of sleep and that hankering was now a full-blown "need to have it now" fixation. Luckily for me, Darbar is right next to the Sheraton I stayed at during my Orlando visit.Bare in mind that I've been to about thirty different Indian restaurants (that I can count off the top of my head) throughout my life, so I set the bar high when it comes to Indian cuisine. My take on Darbar: above average. I ordered Chicken Tikka Masala (my goto) and it was decent, simmered in a rich, tomatoey sauce and the chicken chunks were tender and juicy. What sets this Tikka Masala as decent oppose to superb is the Masala sauce, which was a little too savory for my taste compared to the mildly sweet Masala sauces I've tried elsewhere. I can't vouch for the rest of the dishes at our table as I didn't try any of them; my friends did rave about the Chicken Biriyani and garlic Naan, though. The owners make good use of the space; spacious, with ample seating, and dim-lit which makes for the perfect setting for date nights. The employees are very friendly and efficient; the prices are reasonable priced compared to Indian restaurants in LA; overall a pleasant experience and a tasty first meal in Orlando.

VEGETARIAN PLEASE READ...I generally don't leave reviews but I cannot hold back on this one. We are a vegetarian family and ordered dinner from this restaurant through door dash. Check out their daal makhni with pieces of meat in it. Vegetarians please stay away from this place, you really don't know what do you get served at this place. Also if you have food allergies, stay away. You never know what you get served at this place.Edited- I received a pm from the manager that it cannot be true. Shame on him. I posted the pictures, he couldn't see it. The night when I called the restaurant after I found out, the staff on the phone accepted that it was a mistake and made a comment that mistakes can happen.
