Daniel's Cheesesteak House

I don't have any pictures of our meal because we scarfed our food down so fast. Do you ever get down to the last bite of something and then feel sad that it's almost over? That's what happened today. We decided to try Daniel's on a whim. I had seen so many positive reviews on the Facebook page "Winter Garden Rants, Raves, and Reviews" and needed to see what all the raving was about. Even though they have online ordering through a very user-friendly webpage, I called to place the order. The man who answered the phone couldn't have been nicer or more patient. We went in to pick up our order and this is a very clean, unique restaurant. It's a bit convenience store as well as a restaurant and the place is spotless. Even the restroom! We were pleasantly greeted by the nice person who took our order and he's even nicer in person!Our sandwiches (steak, cheese, pepper, and onions for my husband and chicken, cheese, and mayo for me) were ridiculously good. The small, for $10.99, was huge and just right for a meal. Our customizations were correct and the cheesesteaks were hot and fresh and ready exactly when promised. We can honestly say that this was the best cheesesteak either one of us has ever eaten in our whole lives. We are old, so that time period covers a lot of life! We will be back and can't wait!

Met Daniel on my recent visit and that was a treat he is as kind as his mother and offered a great story on their voyage from NYC to central FL as well as his indo-Caribbean and Dominican heritage. The bread and meat were just as soft and all was as delicious as the first trip and generously portioned. Happy to see them doing well! I will be back.

This is my favorite place to eat in Winter Garden! It reminds me of a New York deli/bodega and the cheesesteaks are one of the best I've had!! The portions are also great for the price. The staff is friendly and welcoming and there are so many options for beverages or sides.

Stopped in today for a small steak and cheese. Had peppers and onions added to it. Service is always awesome. I love the lady at the register. Someday I'm gonna find out her name. As far as amenities, it's no-frills. It does have chairs and tables to sit and eat. What it does have is awesome steak sandwiches, breakfast items and also wings. A lot of wings. This is one of the few places that I actually will commute for 40 minutes to pick up a simple steak and cheese sandwich. After all, it's not a simple steak and cheese, it is one of the best around.

Gotta say, these are the most loaded Cheesesteak's in Central Florida. Every bite was filled with beef. Got the large, and boy was it large! Enough to share, but why would you want to? Go big or go home!

Solid steak n cheese spot The size is good the sandwiches are tasty and bread is fresh. Everything is made to order. Their fries are decent and you have a convenience store there to buy "other" treats to take with your sub like chips, honeybuns. It has a bodega type feel.

I have been by here so many times but never stopped in. Well the dentist was mean to me today so I wanted something soft-ish.This is a very non discript type of place so don't expect fancy.I got a small cheesesteak with my choice of toppings...if you care I got onions, banana peppers, jalapeños, mushrooms and mayo.It was such a nice day that I got it to go and sat on a bench near Stark Lake.Mind you this is a SMALL one.My total for this, an order of delicious onion rings and a drink was $17. I'll get three meals out of it so it's worth it.

Ordered two Philly Cheesesteaks to go, with a side of fries and some chicken strips. I got the sandwiches loaded with tomato, lettuce, mayo, grilled onions and peppers. The sandwiches were really good! Everything tasted fresh. The French fries were crinkle cut and seemed to have some sort of extra batter on them that made them extra yummy. The restaurant itself is a bit low key. You wouldn't know it's a restaurant without the big sign out front, I'll say that. Those are some of the best spots usually so I had to give it go. It looks to be part of a liquor store of some sort too which is random, but interesting. There are a few tables to enjoy your food at too. The service was quick and efficient, definitely seems to be a family owned joint which I value. I will definitely be back if I'm in WG area.

Why has no one told me about this place before. Walked in it's a cheesesteak and convenience store minus the gas all in one! One of the best subs I've had in a while and Ms M was the sweetest customer service with and a smile. Definitely recommend checking it out and clean inside!

don't eat any other cheesesteak until you try this place !!!! absolute fire my only regret is not taking one home with me. so good yum yum yum. prices are fare and worth the price . Thanks Daniel for great service!!! and of cute food. .
