Dancing Dragons Boat Bar

Lines were long but servers were really working so hard and truly making conversation while swiftly stirring up drinks. Got the tiki punch and the ginger beer drink. Both were great! It's one drink per ID.

Despite a summer thunderstorm, the pool bar provided an outstanding experience. Our waitress was exceptional, managing to deliver great service even in challenging conditions. It's a fantastic spot to relax and enjoy a drink, rain or shine!

Good service, fun cocktails and draft beer. Nice view of the themed volcano and main pool.Fun fact: the line will stretch out onto the promenade due to it's location near the entrance. Walk around to the back off the beach and there may be little to no wait. Thumbs up!

The BEST bar on property! we love the location and service at the bar. They have all the best drinks, and don't forget to purchase the refillable cup (shown in photos) so when you come back you get two dollars off your next and future drinks. if you're an annual passholder, you can bring the same cup back every time and continue to get this discount. our favorite drinks is the strawberry Ginger and the coconut raspberry with rum! Lines can get pretty long during lunch and dinner, so be prepared to wait because I was the only have 3 to 4 bartenders to staff!

As a first time visitor, my partner and I tried specialty drinks, Volcano Bay Rum Punch and Toasted Coconut Pineapple. The drinks were very delicious and what was even better was the bartender providing quality customer service. We absolutely enjoyed the atmosphere here & will definitely plan to visit again!

Went to Volcano bay and got drinks from Dancing Dragons. I finally decided to get the Volcano Bay RumPunch in the souvenir cup. The drinks were about $15. This drink was pretty strong and fruity. I endedup getting two and was feeling really nice afterwards. The service was good, bartender was nice andfriendly and the place was clean. It started to get crowded after a while.I definitely forgot to take a picture of my drink, I was too busy living in the moment lol.

Fair prices for a theme park. Two cocktails, where you keep the cups. $3 off the drinks.

Dancing Dragons Boat Bar is an open-air bar inside Volcano Bay that has a comfortable tropical feel accented with Chinese junk boat sails on the roof. Inside, under a large vaulted ceiling, the expansive wooden bar offers typical stool seating, plus the perimeter of the pavilion is lined with a deep ledge & more bar stools. Outdoor tables & chairs are also available, most with broad umbrellas that are perfect protection from both the blazing sun & torrential downpours. Featuring an entrance from the sand in front of Krakatau, and another entrance on the opposite side, Dancing Dragons Boat Bar is centrally located within the water park for a quick break.Because you're in a theme park, expect to pay a premium for adult beverages. At $11.99, the refillable souvenir cocktail cup is a good size at a fair value; refills are $9.99. And the cocktail selection is outstanding! Every beautiful cocktail I ordered was strong, yet refreshing. I started with a Wai-Waitermelon, which was so delicious with chunks of watermelon that I ordered it again. Later in the day, I tried a Tiki Punch and a Volcano Bay Rum Punch; both were just as wonderful. Of note, my sunscreen interacted with the thick plastic cup & left it a bit tacky even after washing with Dawn (my plastic Cabana Bay cup did not react to my sunscreen). No food is served here, but bringing food from elsewhere within the park was not a problem. Friendly bartenders & cool breezes made this the perfect spot for my group to wait out rainstorms while the slides & pools were closed. Service was actually exceptional during the storms; in spite of the crowds & a short wait, drink quality & bartender personality never waned. I look forward to more tasty cocktails on my next visit to Volcano Bay!

I am not ashamed to say that within 30 minutes of entering Volcano Bay, I found myself at the doorstep (well, sand I guess) of Dancing Dragons. Had a great conversation with one of the bartenders who walked me through the drink menu and some of the choices. Even told me about their signature beer Volcano Blossom made by Orange Blossom Brewing and gave me a sample. Great stuff, dragon fruit Pilsner I think, but you had me at Reef Donkey on tap - one of the best beers in all of Florida (from Tampa Bay Brewing Co). You literally made my day. I'm not a "water park guy", so this was heaven to me. Plenty of shade and seats and drink prices totally in line with the other parks. Had I stayed any longer I was going to have the Toasted Coconut. $12 your first one, $10 refills.

Loved the atmosphere at Volcano Bay but did not like the vibe or service at this bar. The bartender who served me did not even put in the dark rum that goes in the rum punch. Not getting what you pay for!!!
