Cranes Roost Bar & Grill

I have been eating at Little Greek for years. I am DONE! Once again, they forgot part of my order. Nothing like a greek salad with no dressing, one olive and shredded feta the size of bird feed (few sprinkles). The regular salad is now the size of a side salad. The gyro is mostly lettuce. Where did the lamb go?!!! I do not recommend Little Greek- it's now several locations but the Altamonte location in Cranes Roost was the culprit this time. How convenient, their phone number says " voicemail is not set up"

Recently reopened after a remodeling. More variety on the menu, although I noticed some favorites were gone. Would like an option to add a protein to the salads. Happy Hour drink prices are good. Dining room can be noisy making conversation difficult. Looking forward to trying some of the new dishes and cocktails.

We just went here for the first time and ordered a cheeseburger lunch and a chicken avocado lunch. Cannot comment on the food because we left before it ever came!!They were not busy and we waited over 15 minutes before we ended up walking out. The server came over twice to refill our drinks, early on. Then we waited and waited and nothing!! She never came back over to explain the reason for the long wait. She went into the kitchen a couple of times, looked right at us, came out empty handed and continued doing what she was doing!! I'm a very patient person but the wait was ridiculous and for her not to come over and give some kind acknowledgement for the long wait was what finally made us leave.

I had literally this best slice of Prime Rib I have ever had last night. And at a Golf Course Restaurant. Go figure! The service by Katie was impeccable and the food was world class. I'm not kidding. The best I have ever had. One small note,, the Potato was done about 2 days prior, but it didn't ruin my dinner. Drink was strong and perfected the experience. 2nd time at the Roost and I'll be back because the prices are fair and the service and food are unreal.

While this restaurant is located inside the gated, over 55 community of Crane Lakes, it is open to the public. The food is fantastic and very reasonably priced for the quality. We particularly like the outdoor dining when the weather is nice. Check out their ribs, onion straws and sweet potato fries for sure!

A place were the locals gather. Crane lakes residents take advantage of the bar after a round of golf or a swim in the pool. As a guest if a resident I have dined here multiple times. The food needs a revamp. My personal experience the food is bland and basic. I hear from the locals complaints on inconsistency, and long wait times. It is a good time for a drink or two because everyone knows each other but not for dinner. I find it sad that most of the residents recommend eating down the road in town rather then there local water spot.

This is half based on location location location! Tonight was 68 degrees and it was crystal clear out--perfection! The view is unobstructed gorgeous all around. You've got wonderful moss covered trees, lakes, cranes, hawks, even the very rare (but we saw one tonight) river otter! And we were NOT bothered by bugs!The food is decent--it's not "oh my god this is the best ever" but you do get your money's worth and if you are looking for relaxing--get here!We had 2 Moscow miles which were both light and refreshing. We got the hot wings as an appetizer (not enough buffalo sauce) but you can request more--but they are cooked correctly with a perfect crisp outer crust.We also ordered the Reuben which was on some really nice bread, the cheese to sauerkraut to corned beef to sauce ratio was really good--I also had a side of the onion strings which went really well with it but would probably go even better with the prime rib special available every Saturday with a side of the mashed potatoes. We also got the cheese steak which was good--the meat was quite tasty. It's definitely worth going back to for the view and the outdoor seating area. The food is definitely 3/5 star but with the 5/5 ambience--I definitely rate this 4/5!

Wednesday's night Prime Rib special was excellent !!!! For $10, dry rubbed prime rib was very tender and tasty. Been there every Wednesday for few months now w/o disappointments. Highly recommended. Call before going, they have ran out early in the past.

Food was excellent. The service was great. People were so nice and it's a beautiful place to go and have lunch or dinner.

Still waiting for the restaurant/bar to reopen after months of being closed for renovations.
