Wow, it is rare to go to a restaurant and love every single dish. I would re order absolutely everything we got. As a table of 4, we shared 3 appetizers and 3 entrees to try a little of everything. Our number one do not miss dish was the SHRIMP JALEA!! It was an elevated coconut shrimp with an unreal sauce. I would get this as my main I liked it so much. Our waiter Joseph also made it a personal effort to know all of our names at the table and call us by our names all night. He was so wonderful!!!!! The restaurant feels so separate from mango's and like an upscale Miami oasis. You can hear the music from downstairs and almost felt like a supper club, it was so much fun. I cannot wait to go back!

This was my first visit to Corazón by Baires, and it was truly beautiful! The décor was thoughtfully designed, making for a great first impression. While waiting for my party, I sat at the bar, where the bartenders were incredibly attentive and friendly.Since we visited during Valentine's Day weekend, they had a prix fixe menu, so several regular dishes weren't available. We opted for the Alfredo and the pork--while the Alfredo lacked flavor, the pork was delicious, though the sauce was a bit sweeter than I prefer. Our server was okay overall, but we did feel a bit rushed. After dropping off our drinks, we were still deciding on our order since it was our first time there. She reminded us of the two-hour table limit but didn't offer any guidance on menu options, which wasn't necessary but would have been a nice touch. After dinner, we explored the hidden bar, which was a great addition to the experience. Seating at the bar is first-come, first-served, while the rest of the space requires reservations. There were also tables and seating just outside the bar, which was lovely. We spent most of our time enjoying the views and the music. The restaurant is connected to Mango's Tropical Café, and we were able to take the stairs up to catch some of the music before heading out.I'd be interested in returning to try the regular menu and see how it compares. The atmosphere was fantastic, but at the price point of the dishes and cocktails, you want the food to feel just as worthwhile!

Food 4/5Service 4/5Ambiance 5/5Corazon is a really fun vibe! Perfect for date night or girls night. There was also a DJ and the music was appropriate/on point. It's attached to Mango's and offers complimentary valet. The aesthetic was almost surprisingly beautiful. Great photo and instagram opportunities from the entrance on the first floor to the dining area on the second. Important note that Happy Hour is only available at the bar. I don't recall this being clear in their Instagram story. The drinks are on the sweeter side but sneakily strong which we appreciated. All of the food items were tasty. Short rib (not pictured) was a great option and comes with a yuca mash so you don't necessarily need an additional side. The calamari was flavorful. Brie and the Chimichurri steak were good dependable options but didn't have the wow factor I was expecting. I will be returning to try more of the menu!

From the moment my boyfriend and I walked into Corazon by Baires, we were completely captivated. The atmosphere was breathtaking, roses adorned the ceiling, setting the perfect scene for a romantic night out. It truly felt like we had stepped into a romance movie, making it the perfect way to welcome the month of love.Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted and guided to take the elevator up to the restaurant. Stepping inside, I was immediately struck by the elegant and sophisticated ambiance. Everything about this place exuded class, from the décor to the attentive service. The entire evening felt incredibly special and intimate. For my entrée, I ordered a pasta dish that was beautifully prepared inside a cheese bowl, infused with real truffle. The flavors were rich and decadent, and the truffle added a luxurious touch. My boyfriend opted for the steak with fresh-cut fries, and he couldn't stop raving about how perfectly it was cooked. We started with truffle fries as an appetizer, which were crispy, flavorful, and a great way to begin the meal. I also enjoyed a glass of wine, which tasted exceptionally fresh, almost as if it came straight from Italy. The service was top-tier throughout the night. Our server was incredibly attentive, ensuring our water glasses were always full without us having to ask. The atmosphere was undeniably romantic, making it an ideal spot for a special occasion or date night. One thing to keep in mind is that this restaurant is on the pricier side, and some additional charges were not initially communicated. For instance, the truffle was an extra $35, adding shrimp to my pasta was $15, and gratuity was automatically included at $30.. this was separate from the cost of the meal itself. While I felt the experience was absolutely worth it, I would advise future guests to ask about any potential add-on costs to avoid surprises on the bill. A little more transparency from the staff on this would enhance the overall experience.Despite that, I would highly recommend Corazon by Baires for anyone looking for a stunning, romantic, and high-end dining experience. The food, service, and ambiance were truly exceptional, and I will definitely be returning. Just be prepared to indulge in a luxurious night out!

Uhmm, yeah... I don't know if it was because of Valentine's Day or what, but I'm never coming back here unless I'm not paying. Between the oily food, the waitress taking pictures and vaping in the bathroom, having to ask for napkins three times, and the $20 drinks that were gone in two sips it was a mess. Oh, i wanted to order the chicken dinner, but they were already sold out even though they had just opened at 5 PM and my reservations were at 5:15. Make it make sense. The food seem like it was not made to order came out soon as we ordered. The mash potatoes tasted like instant mash potatoes correct me if I'm wrong. They add gratuity no matter your group size, no A1 sauce, nothing. The only reason I'm giving two stars is because the ambiance was nice.

The ambiance was sexy You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. We had the tar tar which was a bit salty but otherwise delicious and fresh. The hamachi was excellent We tried multiple drinks all were good espc their riff on an old fashionThe tomohawk was medium and presented beautifully The beef empanadas were the best I've had so soft and delicious and that sauce wow that sauce. Overall a great experience.

Corazon by Baires is a visual masterpiece. The moody, rainforest-inspired decor, complete with low lighting, cascading plants (though artificial), and the calming sound of a waterfall, creates a stunning, Instagram-worthy atmosphere. They also played great music, albeit a little louder than expected. Either way, It's the kind of place that's perfect for a date night or drinks with friends. However, my dining experience didn't quite match the high expectations set by the ambiance. I began with the tuna tartare, but it lacked the freshness and flavor I was hoping for, and I couldn't finish it. On the other hand, my date ordered the empanadas, which were much better--savory and enjoyable. For my main course, I ordered the salmon. While it started off well, the portion size felt overwhelming. Sometimes, less is more, and a smaller, more curated portion could have enhanced the dish, making it more enjoyable all the way through. The drinks were a highlight--well-crafted and enjoyable--and the service was exceptional. The staff was attentive, friendly, and eager to offer recommendations. Despite the tempting dessert menu, I opted not to indulge, worried that another generous portion might not suit my palate after the main course.Overall, Corazon by Baires has great potential. While the menu could benefit from some refinement to match the beauty of its setting, it's a fantastic spot for happy hour or a casual evening out. With some adjustments, it could become a real gem.

Had come across many foodies talking about how great this restaurant is and so I gave it a shot. Ambiance is fenomenal, warm and super cozy. Super instagram worthy for photos. We got some drinks to start, margaritas, they were okay. For food we decided to share about 4 or 5 appetizers and a dessert. My favorites were the Calamari and the Burrata, MUST-HAVES! Service was fast and welcoming. It's a little on the expensive side but perfect for a special date night

My husband surprised me with dinner at Corazon for Valentine's Day. Since the holiday menu was a condensed version of their regular menu, I don't think the experience would be much different on another night. We didn't have a reservation but easily found seats at the bar, where the full menu was available. The bartender was fantastic--attentive and friendly--so our service experience was great. The restaurant is undeniably Instagrammable, which seems to be its main draw. But the food didn't live up to the hype, especially for the price. We started with the Kung Pao Calamari, which was a bowl of Thai chili sauce with a few thick rice noodles and barely any calamari. We dug our way through with a fork to find some before eventually giving up. For our entrées, we both ordered the 16 oz. ribeye. It lacked salt--a basic necessity for a well-seasoned steak. The best thing on my plate was the cherry tomatoes that accompanied it. We also ordered a side of mashed potatoes, which were buttery and creamy, as they should be.Dessert was my favorite part of the meal. The New York-style cheesecake was rich and creamy, the kind that keeps you going back for another bite. I paired it with an espresso, while my husband had two cocktails. With drinks, our total came to just over $300.Was it worth it? No. I'm glad we tried it, but I wouldn't return.

First, the good: the space is beautiful--lively, modern, and very inviting. On a Wednesday night, the dining room was about 50% full, which makes the service situation a little harder to excuse. Our server was polite, but I would've appreciated more attentiveness. For example, after we finished our appetizers, we had to flag him down to take our entree orders. Then, oddly, he returned quite a while later to ask about food allergies, which struck several of us as questionable timing. Now, the food. I skipped the signature cocktails and went with wine because nothing on the cocktail list jumped out. The spirits featured (Grey Goose, Patrón, etc.) felt dated--popular several years ago, but in my opinion, there are more interesting craft spirits out there these days. For appetizers, my Caesar salad was tasty, though a bit overdressed. Everyone at the table seemed to enjoy their apps overall, so we were hopeful for the entrees. Unfortunately, that hope didn't last. The salmon a la plancha was one of the better dishes at our table, but it was still overcooked. My friend--the birthday boy--had the worst luck, sending back two entrees. The first was the ribeye, which looked underwhelming from the moment it hit the table: thin, lacking any crust, and mediocre quality. Cooked to medium as requested, but the preparation didn't do it justice. He then tried the short rib, which didn't fare much better. I didn't even take a bite after seeing the thick layer of unrendered fat. At that point, I quietly got up and approached the manager to share our experience, especially given it was a celebration. The manager explained that short rib is naturally fatty (which I know), but I pointed out that proper short rib is slow-cooked to render the fat and tenderize the meat. The dish we received was neither. Baby, I cooks and I eats, ok?By then, I'd had one more glass of wine than planned for a school night, and it was time to wrap up. They did bring a slice of chocolate birthday cake to the table, which was a nice touch. Unfortunately, the cake seemed a little past its prime--dry and definitely not baked fresh that day.To be fair, I may sound harsh because many diners around us seemed to be enjoying their meals and experience. The tableside fettuccine in the cheese wheel was a popular choice, but like so many places these days, it seems the focus is on decor, presentation, and Instagram-ability rather than technique and execution.Final thoughts: the appetizers were the highlight, so I'll give happy hour a shot. It's 50% off Wednesday through Friday, 5-7 p.m., and maybe that's where this spot shines. For now, I'd give it a 6-ish out of 10.
