A quick lunch break We were sat right away. Parking was plentiful and we were sat immediately. The place smells like legit bbq. I ordered "The burnt end" sandwich on Texas toast and it was a delicious mix of beef brisket and pulled pork. I wasn't in love with their version of corn pudding as this was more like corn cake than pudding but it was still tasty. All of the bbq sauces were very good but the hot one was my favorite by far. I wish we had time and room to try the banana pudding but that will have to wait for our next visit.We had the sweetest waitress named Jade who added to the enjoyment of the meal.This is definitely worth stopping at if you are in the area!

I came out here one day, because I really wanted barbecue, but I also really wanted to try somewhere new. So I looked at my incredibly long list of places to try, and Colt's Pig Stand just stood out to me, so there I went. It was a long drive, so I was hoping it was worth it. We roll up and the first thing you notice is the giant corn silo that dominates the façade. Very quaint. A good start. The quaintness continues inside. Rural and rustic touches everywhere, from the wooden signs with funny little quips to the piles of firewood laden throughout the dining room to the wallpaper adorning the edges of the ceiling with old school drawings of country ingredients. It worked, and it made you feel right at home. If you're from the South, like I am. So we started browsing the menu, and it was all pretty basic stuff. We wanted to try a little of everything, so we ordered two orders of the 3 Meat Combo Plate. Let me list it out real quick. We ordered the brisket, the baby back ribs, the chicken wings, the turkey, the sausage, and the pilled pork. Along with sides of the mac, the onion rings, the tots, and the Brunswick stew. Overall, everything was delightful. There wasn't a bad component to the meal. I was very impressed with the Brunswick stew. You don't see a lot of it in Florida, but this was nice, had a subtle heat, loaded with meat and veg, just a really delicious side. And I was also impressed with the turkey. Smoked turkey is usually sooo try, but not here, they did it right! It was moist and juicy and really to be slathered in not-too-much sauce. Last thing I'll point out is the unique onion rings. The batter they were battered in was different than normal. It was lighter, airier, almost like a tempura batter. It made them seem fluffier, less heavy. I really enjoyed it. I won't go into detail on everything we ate. Just know that it was good, this place gave me exactly what I was hoping for, and if I'm ever in Orange City and wanting barbecue, I will definitely stop by again.

Pros:Barbecue restaurants that are smaller chains seem more able to maintain their good quality. All of the employees were very friendly and worked with a flair of classic southern charm.The dining room was very quaint and had elements of rural things everywhere. I loved the wooden condiment caddy on all the tables.The food was just awesome. Everything was smoked just right and nothing was dry, not even the poultry!Cons:No real cons. Everything was good, even the price!Tips:If you are an onion ring fan, get these. They are very fluffy and unique. The turkey was moist and juicy. The wings were not the best smoked wings I've ever had, but they were very good wings.

I was driving home from Orlando along I-4 and decided to exit at exit 111B. I had planned to have dinner at Five Guys but saw this place first. I am really glad I did because it was a great find. The smell of BBQ was overwhelming as soon as I walked in the door. Staff were immediately friendly. They have every imaginable meat on the menu. I opted for the two meat combo with baby back ribs and brisket. The meal also came with two sides, so I chose macaroni and cheese and BBQ beans. Everything tasted great, and the portions were nice.

I absolutely loved the food! I ordered the 3 Meat Combo, I chose the pulled pork, pulled chicken and sausage link. The combo also came with 2 sides, I chose Mac and Cheese and BBQ Beans. For dessert I chose the Banana Pudding. The food was sooo flavorful and taste like it was made with love! It was truly comforting and I enjoyed every bite! You know the meat was smoked because you can taste it! The meat was really good on its own but their sauces...wow! I love a good Hot BBQ sauce and they did not disappoint. I also tried the Sweet and Sassy BBQ sauce. To top my already perfect meal, the Banana Pudding was the cherry on top. Just to recap, everything was amazing!

I've seen all the signs but finally we went for the first time I had the baby back ribs, with a side of onions rigs and collards, my wife had the smoked 1/2 chicken bbq plater with two sides of green beans . It took a bit to get our Oder but it was with the wait . The ribs where perfect fall off the bone meaty , my onion rings where amazing perfect breading fried just right . My collards were like home maid one of the best I've had . My wife's chicken was one of the most perfectly tasting she loved it it was also amazing, we also tried all the BBQ sauces they were great specially the original and the honey mustard, our server was a bit lost she was ok , she was attending four other tables too , great country theme inside and outside the restaurant I was blown away it's a place I recommend everyone to try ..

It's been a few months since we've been able to come out here for some great barbecue. We had Nicole as our server and she was simply amazing. We are going to be sure to ask for her when we are out here again. She was in tune with our needs without us having to say a thing, completely on top of everything. Grateful for such a great first visit back after several months. The sandwiches are worth every penny, $11.99 just can't be beat. Great service, casual atmosphere. Great food. Great people.

It's tough because I'm from San Antonio TX and Texas in general is many times considered the land of barbecue for a reason. I feel bad about leaving three stars because you all know how much of a stickler I am about quality customer service, and Colts pick Stan gets high-quality customer service, so I'll rate this individually.Customer Service: 5Greens: 4Carrot Cake: 5Barbecue Brisket fatty: 3Barbecue Brisket regular: 2The reason why the Barbecue brisket gets a low number from me personally is because the salt is severely lacking. I'm not sure if I went on an off day, or if someone there might be allergic to salt but I had to wait until I got home to add a little sea salt just to get through it all.Maybe it's a Florida thing, but every time I go to the Florida barbecue spot, it's the exact same standard. You shouldn't have to douse the meat in sauce just to give it layers of flavor.I will return for the greens and the cheesecake because the lady behind the counter told me that the greens were good and she was spot on! The carrot cake was to die for. It was so good and perfect in every way, including texture, level of sweetness (it didn't give me diabetes with every bite. It was the perfect amount of semi sweet) and balance of flavor, that they might see me at least once a week.
