This was my second visit to Colorado Fondue Company, and I couldn't wait to come back! I was thrilled to see how they transform the whole restaurant for Christmas--it's so festive and cozy. They also had a winter special featuring cheese fondue and a variety of meat options, which made the experience even better.I love how unique this place is, especially with the hot stone for cooking meat. Normally, I'm not a fan of cooking my own food at restaurants, but this is such a fun and interactive experience, and the food always turns out delicious. We tried all the protein options for the hot stone, and everything was so flavorful. The Bruschetta Jack cheese fondue was amazing, and I loved all the dipping options. Their soup and salad options are also fantastic -it's hard to pick a favorite because both are so tasty! By the time dessert rolls around, I'm usually too full, but you can always get it to go.The drinks are reasonably priced, and our server was attentive and helpful, recommending great options. I highly suggest making a reservation, especially on weekends, because they fill up quickly and have limited hours.Overall, this place is a gem, and I can't wait to return for another cozy and delicious meal!

First, let me say that we're big fans of the Melting Pot out in the DC area, so we might be a tad biased. The food here was good, just not what we were expecting. Let me elaborate. We had the "Extreme Menu" which includes soup or salad, a cheese fondue, a multi-meat selection that you cook on hot rocks and a chocolate fondue. The salads were fine, I had the apple & Gorgonzola one and it was pretty good. The cheese fondue (we got the Mexican version) was OK. Not super flavorful and we're used to it being made table-side so we can adjust ingredients. But it was OK.Cooking the meats on hot rocks was fun, we'd done that before in Barcelona and enjoyed it. The meats were all tasty and they brought us fresh hot rocks about halfway through. The chocolate fondue was, again, good but not able to be tweaked table-side. We still enjoyed it.Our server seemed pretty new and didn't know the menu super well. She had also just turned 21 and didn't know the drink menu either. But she'll learn and the selections we made were fine.So while everything here was good, it wasn't quite what we were expecting / hoping for.

We went during their winter special for a girls night and had fondue for the first time! We opted for a soup and salad to share, nothing to write home about. Our cheese fondue we chose the bruschetta jack, it was really good! Alittle on the heavier side. The bread given was stale. We really enjoyed the hot stone but wished we knew when the hot stone wasn't hot anymore so we could be more attentive to cooking the meat.Overall I probably wouldn't come back unless they had a la cart options or just stone grill options.

From the outside you would not expect the sheer level of theming and decoration in this location. We were absolutely blown away by the decor and the effort put into decorating this location.Once you step inside you feel like you are transported into a ski lodge or a cabin in the woods. The inside is stunning and set the mood for an unforgettable evening. We were also lucky enough to arrive on the first day of the Holiday Decorations, so had an added level of wonderment. From start to finish the food and drinks were fantastic. I opted for one of the drinks off of the seasonal menu, a twist on a caramel apple and it tasted exactly like that! For our food we opted for the beginner trail menu, which includes a soup/salad, a cheese Fondue to share and a chocolate fondue to share. And if I'm honest this was a great option for us, but we were feeling a little extra hungry so we added in a side of steak and ravioli to give a little extra to our already good portion size.As someone who typically goes for a dessert I suppose to a soup or a salad, I pushed the boat out and went for a soup. And I was very glad that I did because the butternut squash soup was very enjoyable, it was thick, tasty and paired perfectly with the bread. It was hard to pick a star of the show when everything was fantastic. With that being said this is a fondue restaurant and the cheese fondue as a main course was nothing short of spectacular. You get a mix of veggies, fruit, bread, chips and more to enjoy with your fondue and the portion size was perfect for the two of us. There are multiple flavours to choose from in the fondue so definitely ask your server for recommendations. When it came to the steak and the ravioli, we had additional cooking methods, with the ravioli being brought with a broth to be dropped into to be cooked and the steak with a hot stone that would cook it in a couple of minutes. Both of those were perfect additions to an already wonderful meal. My only feedback would be if the server could provide you with cooking times as we kind of had to wing it, but both were cooked well.Moving on to the final portion of our meal, we were served the chocolate fondue. Again similar to the regular fondue you get a choice of flavour, we opted for the chocolate with crunchy peanut butter which was heavenly and decadent. Accompanied with your chocolate fondue are a variety of different things to dip in, from marshmallow to cake, to bananas and more.If I was able to give Colorado Fondue company a higher score than five, it would have certainly hit that mark! We've been raving about it since we got back and will certainly make another trip back in the near future.

We love fondue. We have never been to this location, but we saw on an Instagram reel about the Halloween decor that they bring on during this time of year. We thought how fun and we took the long drive to check it out. The decor is great. It's so fun to look at. Now let's go to service. I will have to say maybe I'm just used to the melting pot, but the servers here are a little bit more on the abrupt and at times on the ruder side. This was not just my server, but also the server next to us. Our server was actually probably one of the most offputting servers in how he spoke to us the whole time that I've had in a while at any restaurant. Now let's talk about sanitation and safety. Everything was good quality. But they seem to give you one fondue fork for everything. Raw Shrimp, chicken, and beef mixed with cooked potato, and ravioli. After we had used our two cheeses we had ordered. Our server came over and said oh that's still hot and told my daughter to give him her napkin she was using so he could move it and put it on the side of me and told me not to touch it. After he handled her napkin that he had used it on the pot and held in his hand, he tossed it back at her to use. They left an open flame just blazing with nothing on it as they went in the back. He described nothing that was in the boiling pot, or what to do with it in conjunction with hot rock even though we'd never been there and he knew it. He forgot the sauces and when I asked for them from another person put server brought them and said look I was making them. But we were already like well into eating our proteins at this point. When I asked a food runner if I could have to go containers for my cheeses he said I don't know. I'm not sure. I said I'm pretty sure it's not an all you can eat buffet and I paid for it. He said well let me go find out then. It was just weird.I noticed our server never swapped out our hot stones, but the table next to us had their stones swapped out and after a while ours got cooler and was not cooking the meat very quickly. He didn't offer drink refills. I had to ask. Even though they sat there empty. We ended up getting our dessert to go. I can't tell you how that is yet but I'm sure it's great because it's peanut butter and chocolate. Now the food: we got the Extreme four course with an extra cheese. The blood orange salad and the mountain mix salad were delicious. We liked both the Cheddar fondue and the Munster Mash Cheese fondue. The chips they serve were stale, but everything else was good. I would've asked for more bread, but he didn't come back for a bit. We asked to take our veggies home, but he threw them away. For the proteins we got: filet minion (was our favorite), pacific chicken (decent on the drier side), shrimp , and a double of the short rib bulgogi instead of a scallop (the marinade wasn't bad. It wasn't my favorite the quality of the beef that was good). Once we finally got our sauces, it definitely helped. It's no green goddess dressing at the melting pot, but they all did a nice job. Believe it or not the mustard is quite delicious. The pricing however is way better than the melting pot. Usually this type of meal would cost us over $200 before tip. This one was $125 I believe. I still did leave a little over 20% because they do have to handle some hot items. The food was decent. The ambience was great. He's not the worst server I ever had, but I would definitely never request him as he stated I could.I believe I would come back. Now that I know things that I like and how I like them and I would definitely ask for extra forks.

One of Orlando's best kept secrets! At this point, Colorado Fondue Company is an institution. They're so low-key, and no one is ever leaves disappointed. I've been a fan since my college days, and I can attest that 10+ years later, they're as good now as they were before. Honestly, I'm not a big fan of fondue in general, especially for the main course where most other places just serve broth. At that point, it's just an inferior Hot Pot! Colorado Fondue Company improves this experience with their hot rock entrees -- where the main course is cooked on a hot rock instead of just broth (which they still include for veggies and ravioli); and it's absolutely perfect. On our most recent visit, we got the Extreme Combo and it was worth every penny. It's such a good deal and has four courses -- soup/salad, cheese fondue, main course, and chocolate fondue. Because we came during Halloween, they had some special seasonal items. On that note -- you HAVE to check them out if you're a lover of holidays. Their Halloween decorations were perfectly spooky and set the mood for the season. I LOVED the ambiance and can't wait to come back for their Winter Fest decor too. Food was fantastic. I really enjoyed my blood orange salad and the all the courses were delicious. The cheese was really good -- perfectly gooey and super flavorful; they had plenty of bread and veggies to go with the course. My only feedback is that the bread seemed a little stale; it wasn't bad when covered in cheese though. The meat course was especially delicious and it was so fun cooking all the meat. The cuts for the Extreme Combo were really high quality. I also really appreciated that they switch out the hot stones halfway through. Last, but not least, the chocolate fondue is where it's at -- even if you don't want to do any of the savory courses, you have to come here for dessert! We had the Salted Irish Caramel and it was so rich, decadent, and tasty; the Irish Cream Liquer and Crushed Pretzels cut the sweetness and added balance and texture. I wanted to drink it honestly. They provide some fun dipping options -- the cream puffs were a surprise hit, but I wish they included more strawberries. Overall, 100% recommend and would come back. It's perfect for any and all occasions.

I've been wanting to try this place for awhile but we live in Clermont so it's almost an hour drive. We were finally in the area so made a reservation for my birthday dinner. The outside doesn't look like much but the inside is a total vibe with low lighting, tons of twinkle lights everywhere and posters for a bunch of different national parks. We loved it! My only real knock is the service for us wasn't what we witnessed from other tables around. The other waiters gave long spiels about the seasonal items, ability to get additional bread, swap things out, etc. and ours didn't do any of that. Our waiter was super nice but we would've liked to have known about some of those things before we ordered. And drink refills were super slow and I think that's because it was the end of the night so the waiters in general were checking out. We did the expert course which is $37 for four courses, we think that's a very reasonable price for the quality and quantity of what you get. We started with the corn chowder which we loved, it's so flavorful. Went with the Fontina Tuscany for our cheese. It comes with bread, chips, veggies and some fruits. The cheese is absolutely delicious. Soooo stringy and so much flavor. I felt the pesto could've been a lil stronger but it was still so tasty. The expert course comes with filet, pork, chicken, shrimp and sirloin. The pork and the sirloin were actually my favorites! But all are good and being able to cook them on the hot rocks is such a unique experience. We got the s'mores fondue which is the seasonal option. It came with milk and dark chocolate swirled with marshmallow liquor and lots of graham cracker crumbs on top which made for such a fun textural experience. SO delicious. Also you can ask for extra of anything so we got some extra strawberries since those are clearly the best part.

We came here for Valentine's Day Dinner and everything was perfect! Everyone is the restaurant was amazing, especially our server! The restaurant has such a cozy vibe and you really feel like you are in a Colorado ski lodge. The food was all fabulous! There was a set menu for Valentine's Day, but it was a great menu and we didn't feel like we missed out on anything. From the salad, to the cheese fondue, to the meat and chocolate fondue, it was soooooo good! My favorite was the caramelized onion cheese fondue, but everything was tasty. You do need to make reservations online, in-advance for Valentine's Day, but the whole process was super easy! We will definitely be back to try their normal menu! Amazing place you need to check out!

Colorado Fondue is better than The Melting Pot! It's cheaper and the entree is much tastier. The biggest difference is that the meat is cooked on a hot stone instead of in broth. Aside from the entree, they offer cheese fondue and chocolate fondue. You can pick and choose your courses or you can opt for a full-course meal. The service is always exceptional, it's a cozy environment and it's not loud.

This is the second time we have come to this restaurant and it was just as good as the first time! This time around we got the three course which includes a cheese of your choice. The main entree which was the meats (on the side you get some veggies) and then of course dessert! The service here from what I see is great. They're super friendly and helpful with anything you need. Something I like about this restaurant is that for the main holidays they decorated it! We went during Halloween time and it was spooky!
