Delicious and old school classic diner in college park! Small place with big flavor! Had the club and chicken salad sandwich. Very good and hearty! Service was efficient and friendly. Prices were good, we got out of there for under $40 for a meal for 2. Stop on by if you are in the area!

I was pleasantly surprised, coming here with a true diner like feel. Overall atmosphere of the restaurant was inviting and I like the classic design. Service was good and attentive. Food did come out, hot and fresh and it was actually pretty good. I really liked the different healthier options that were on the menu. I am anxious to come back and try those healthier options to see if they are worth it. The prices are by far some of the best I've seen in town when it comes to breakfast. I do recommend coming and there was no wait time. Great place to just meet up and have conversation over coffee and breakfast.

I had them on my list to try and finally made it a point to stop by. The restaurant is small and kept its diner look with a bit modern look and feel. You walk in and seat where you like (I asked as I approached the bar area). Then I was greeted by my server and she was friendly, nice and answered any questions. Since I was in the mood for pancakes, I ordered the Pancake Breakfast. It sure did hit the spot as I got something sweet and something savory for brunch. The pancakes are not as fluffy but they do pack flavor. I got my eggs scrambled with cheese and bacon. The portion was good and the pancakes are huge, I had to take 1 to go! A nice find in College Park for breakfast or lunch with a good variety for everyone.

I really like this place me and my grandfather came here and we loved it. The food was good and I highly recommend the pancake special it's the perfect breakfast and instead of having to ask for "pancakes, eggs, bacon etc." you just have to ask for the pancake special. This places decor is cool too it looks like the 70s. Highly recommend this place

Sadly, there is no longer Cuban food and they were out of avocado toast. It was nice and clean and I got a breakfast sandwich which was good. I came excited about the Cuban food so was a little disappointed that it was good but unexciting breakfast food. But a nice clean diner, nice service, and I'll go back and try more. The breakfast sandwich was a pretty good deal at 6.95. They really deserve a 3.5 so I'll go back and see if this place might be a 4 if I got a more interesting breakfast and had non-Cuban expectations! Stay tuned.

I could not be happier with our impromptu trip to College Park Cafe today. Admittedly I am not a big fan of Cuban food but my husband absolutely loves it. I tried to bank some credits in my pocket today by letting him choose our lunch spot, but that sorely backfired when I realized what a treat I was experiencing.Upon entry, the cafe reminded me of the nostalgic local diners of my childhood. Fear not, this was NOT a Jersey diner. This was far more special and the nostalgia for grandma's homemade cooking runs deep here. My husband got the Cuban sandwich, and bless my skeptical basic hoagie loving heart, it was fantastic! The pork was clearly homemade and was lusciously rich in juices, flavor, and texture. The crisp of the bread was like music to my ears as I sunk into each hearty bite. As for size... I'm pretty sure this sandwich could feed a family of four. Not mad! My nonplussed self briefly debated a standard club sandwich, but my instinct got the best of me. Why get such standard American fair at a place that has grandma's stamp of approval on so many culinary explorations that are outside of my typical path? The answer is you don't. Listen to abuelita- you're in her kitchen after all! I succumbed to the sumptuous blend of peppers, olives, wines, and spices surrounding the ropa vieja. My nose betrayed my stomach and wouldn't prevent me from diving into what can only be described as a truckload of yellow rice before slurping up the meaty side of red beans.By now you can imagine my desire to unbutton my pants and settle in for the long haul. Alas, we had plans to test ride bikes so my brain had to stomp on my tastebuds' dreams as we got our leftovers wrapped to go. On the bright side, portions were so big that we both easily had enough for dinner later. Yahtzee!! Bottom line- Cuban was never my thing but this place has changed me. Oh, it has changed me. I advise you to run, don't walk, to CPC and be sure to drop some leftovers off at my place on your way home.

First time here & we live within walking distance. We will definitely be back. Maybe some more advertising would help. We only discovered this because they are opening another restaurant "The Counter" & we saw the advertisement for that. The homemade chicken noodle soup was delicious. And the fried chicken wrap was very good. Next time I will hold the honey mustard & only have ranch. Very friendly staff and very attentive.

I've heard amazing things about the Cuban sandwiches at College Park Cafe and finally had the opportunity to try them out for myself! We ordered delivery via Uber Eats. We decided to share a Cuban since they looked large. We chose a side of yellow rice and black beans and we also got an order of ham croquettes. The food arrived quickly and was still warm. I could feel the weight of the sandwich when taking it out of the bag so I know we made the right decision to share it! The ham croquettes were just okay in my opinion. The black beans were tasty. The yellow rice was okay, but not my favorite; I felt it needed a little more flavor personally. However, the Cuban sandwich easily earned the five stars I'm giving this spot! It is without a doubt the best Cuban I have had so far. There was lots of melty cheese, multiple layers of ham, flavorful pulled pork, and the bread was perfection. The potato sticks were a nice addition. There were pickles and mustard, but they weren't overwhelming. The star of the show was really the delicious meats and cheese. We didn't even finish our halves and it was just as phenomenal the next day reheated. I will definitely return again to have this Cuban sandwich and sample some other menu items!

Delicious delicious delicious!! A couple of things that stood out. A fun restaurant to dine in. The folks running the place are extra special, and the customer service was top-notch. We ordered the Cuban sandwich, food which they are well known. It was delicious. A Miami-style sandwich, unlike the Tampa style, college park cafe includes salami. We also ordered the ropa vieja (roast pork). It was tasty! I grew up with my mom cooking ropa vieja at least once a week. In my opinion, it shouldn't include raisins. However, this is a controversial subject in Cuban cuisine. Friday and Saturday nights include live music! It was nice. Not too loud, music from all genres. I would recommend this spot for a casual dinner with lots and lots of house wine!
