We were on the wait list for enchanted rose which was 75 minutes. Decided to stop into Citricos for a drink while we wait to have drinks! Cool and laid back. Great bartenders. Awesome drinks too!

Service and food below average for the Grand Floridian. Waited too long for drinks, food and water. Did not have enough servers. Not a good fit for GF Resort. We had vegetarian and fish entrees both thumbs down.

This is our 5th day visiting Disney...Day 1- Narcoossee's! If I could, I would give it 10 Stars! Everything, I mean everything, from appetizers to desserts, including the service, was out of this world! Day 2- Boma, very happy, definitely a happy 5 StarsDay 3- Narcoossee's again, so consistent in their food and service... Day 4- Ale and Compass, very happy!Day 5- Citricos... what can I say! Huge disappointment! We had reservation for 7:40. Was seated no problem, but by 8:50pm still no food! When food finally arrived past 9pm, it was... how can I describe it? The short rib was dry and flavorless! The Mahi Mahi was also dry... the Vegan dish was questionable... the 1 Star was for our server Larry! Thank you Larry! Otherwise I think they need to let go of the chef...

Incredible how the ambiance created the illusion of being in the Movie "Mary Poppins"The cuisine and attentive cast members complement the Grand Floridian cultural traditions!

It's a beautiful lounge in a trendy restaurant in a gorgeous hotel. This was the 5th stop on our monorail pub crawl and we were tired after a long day at Magic Kingdom while also doing the crawl. I am only giving stars for the ambiance and my drink. Taking off 2 stars for the service being very slow and inattentive, especially compared to the other bars we went to that day. I didn't stay long and I had to gulp down my 212 Manhattan cocktail to get to the last bar on the list before they closed. I'll give it another try but this time I'd make a reservation.

I've eaten at Citricos several times, it's always good, and sometimes excellent. I remember a few years back, they had this gateau of chilled, lump crab with a citrus beurre blanc, as an appetizer. And I'm not kidding when I say, I ordered two more, after polishing off that first one. One more for myself, and one more for my husband, who wasn't going to get a single bite otherwise. That was maybe one of two times I've ever done that dining out. It was so perfectly balanced, the sweet crab, against the acidic citrus sauce, and the crunchy fennel slaw. Alas, it's no longer on the menu; the agony and the ecstasy. I've had expertly prepared airline breasts of chicken here, wonderful scallop dishes, and savory, umami-laden filets. The pork belly and grits appetizer is wonderful, another one where I'm practically licking the plate. There have been a few misses too, an overly-alcoholic zabaglione and berries (though my husband enjoyed it), a flavorless key lime pie, that looked impressive but lacked any real key lime essence. It tasted more like custard, which is pretty disappointing if you are expecting that bright slap of tart citrus. The service here can be inconsistent. Sometimes we have a lovely server, and kind host staff, other times, odd and brusque service. The last time we ate at Citricos, the food was wonderful, but the service was not. The hostesses were stuffy, our server made a couple of off-color remarks, that seemed like they were at my expense, so it was a bit of a strange experience. The ambience is also a little lacking; the decor is outdated, the room large and cold at night. They need to spend some money on new upholstery and more modern carpeting. It's like a big 90's cliche, at this point. And it just doesn't really fit in with the rest of the resort. It's not Victorian, Floridian, or grand in any way. But, as my grandfather liked to say, "You can't eat the walls." And the food is worth the trip.

I love (almost) everything about Citricos. The decor and ambiance take you back to another time and the service is remarkable. Our server truly went above and beyond to take care of us and make us feel special! Dining at Citricos is a very unique and special experience and I will probably return for that alone. That said, I expected more from the menu selection and the food itself. For starters, the menu that is currently published was not exactly the same menu that was available at the restaurant. Notably missing was the cheese course, which was something I had been looking forward to since the moment I made the reservation...super bummed! The hubbs had the Chicken Mediterranean - which was surrounded by scrumptious couscous, a tasty tomato fondue, and mixed vegetables - and he liked it very much so that was definitely a win! I had the Quinoa and Provençale Ratatouille which contained a tomato confit, mixed vegetables, wild mushrooms, and a chickpea sauce. My issue with this dish was that it was much too mushroom-heavy, and this is coming from someone who enjoys eating mushrooms! The mushrooms were truly over the top and truly did the entire dish a noticeable disservice. Like I mentioned before, though, I would return to Citricos. Hopefully the vegetarian selections will be better next time!

The Disney adventure began at Citricos. Located as one of the fancier options at the Grand Floridian, it boasts a contemporary American menu with some Italian influences. It's not the first time I've dined here but the fare was consistently good here.Dining Plan Points: 2 meals (Appetizer, Entree, Dessert and 1 Beverage)The dining room sits in the main building and overlooks the pool where you can see the grand views of the property while you eat. Food here is well prepared and very tasty. The filet mignon was tender, cooked to order and came on top of a bed of creamy potato puree and grilled asparagus. Lobster risotto was also very good - large pieces of lobster on top of perfectly done risotto that had an excellent seafood flavor. Service was very friendly albeit a tad slow (I find this is the case for most Disney dining - it's probably the fact that I'm still on NYC eating time and not on normal time like the rest of the population). Decor is wonderful and the views are some of the best in the hotel. Value - Dining plan (most definitely), Cash - hard pass (the a la carte prices are exorbitant even by NYC standards). Thumbs up.

salad appetizer, short ribs, scallops and risotto, tiramisu Amazing! Food sells itself. Short ribs were soft and buttery. Scallops were cooked to perfection! Portion size is smaller than average but that just means you have room for appetizers and dessert! Make sure you have proper clothes. They request business casual and made my sister change from ripped jeans and a tank to a dress. Also make sure you TELL your server if you are celebrating an occasion. It was my birthday and I wore my Disney birthday celebration pin from the park. My server didn't greet me and this was the only place in Disney that I didn't receive a happy birthday extra. Not ground breaking but unexpected from a Disney resort.

Incredible food and service. This is one of our favorite restaurants at Disney. The restaurant itself is slightly dated and honestly could use a refresh but the food is absolutely worth it!
