We had a wonderful dining experience at Ciao Bella. While I've ordered delivery before and had the carpaccio and the pear salad, which was delicious, I've been wanting to go here since it looked to have such a nice ambiance too... and it most certainly does. We had the pleasure of being served by Frankie, who was attentive, knowledgeable and simply a joy to interact with. The ambiance was as lovely as I had hoped, and while it is noisier inside, on a chilly night, it was nice and cozy. The main event though, the food: was spectacular. While we pondered the menu, we received homemade focaccia with a yummy garlic and herb infused olive oil for dipping to snack on. Frankie then recommended both our dishes, the spaghetti and meatballs, along with the carbonara (which is someone's family recipe, I can't remember who at the moment) and both were absolutely delicious. They also make all their pasta in house as well, and it was perfectly cooked with our dishes.Looking forward to the next time! Thank you!

Let me start off with the fact that I despise writing bad reviews. Reason being: I like to enjoy dining out and also the restaurant industry is such a difficult business. Nonetheless, here I am. This im was my second visit to this restaurant. When they first took over ownership, I stopped in and met the family who had bought the location and invested money to revamp the business (this was several years ago). I didn't eat there on that occasion, but the owners were an Italian family and they seemed determined to make this a great restaurant. So, tonight. I decided to have dinner with some friends from out of town. we orders wines, appetizers, and for me...pasta Promodora...a dish super-basic dish that I had enjoyed while visiting Bergamo, Italy a few years ago. I figured, let's try the basics and see how it goes. DISASTER!When my plate was served, I was anxious to try it. Strangely, I noticed something was off. when I tried my first bite, I found a bland, undercooked pasta that was so unappetizing that I had to spit out the bite into the plate. My friends and i were having an enjoyable evening, so I didn't plan to make a fuss. But, when the waiter finally asked how my dish was, I felt compelled to let him know that I was not enjoying it. Now, the story gets good. He apologizes and takes my plate to the kitchen. He returns and informs me that the owner tasted my dish and said it was ok. I smiled back at him and asked, "he tried my dish and said it was ok"? The waiter said, "yes". I had to chuckle. Pasta is my kryptonite. There is not other food that I know better. Wait...the best part is this. He said that the owner would give me a 20% discount on my plate (not the bill, my plate...the same one that I took one bite out of then the owner tasted, then tossed in the trash). I know what you're thinking ... yes! ... he offered me a discount in a plate that I never ate and he chose to throw away in the trash! For a moment, I thought I was on Candid Camera! For those of you who follow my reviews of great restaurants across the country, you know that I champion small restaurants and small business owners. I can't recommend the food at Ciao Bella or the owner's business practices as I didn't even receive the poor quality food that I paid for. If I could give Ciao Bella a Zero Star, I would!

We were in town to visit some friends who live here. Our table for lunch at another nearby restauarant was about a 30 minute wait so we decided to have a drink at this place. It was a great choice. Two members of our party had espresso Martinis and I had a tropical mojito. Both drinks tasted great. Service was also quick and professional. The ambiance is nice.

What a great vibe for dinner! They are masters of martinis and if you are looking for creative cocktails and yummy martinis this is your place! With outdoor and indoor bar seating it's a great place to grab a drink before dinner or just for fun with friends. There was also live music on the outdoor patio which made the outdoor patio so great! The menu is classic Italian food and the highlight for me was the sauce of the chicken piccata. It was lemony and delicious I wanted it mixed in with my clam sauce pasta!

I apologize for almost posting a month later. It's been busy for me the last couple weeks getting back from my trip to NSB, now I have time to sit and leave my review. Me and a friend was visiting a friend down in New Smyrna and part of my trip I was looking forward to is not being here in cold a** Wisconsin. Before our trip, my friend that traveled with me was informed by her friend about The Garlic. I said why not, let's give it a shot for dinner on Saturday. Our friend took us a round town about 6:30 when we decided to go to The Garlic and was informed that there was a 2 HOUR wait and that they didn't take reservations. Luckily, my friend thought of another back up plan for us.She brought us here to Ciao Bella and was relieved, however when we arrived that they were only taking reservations to which I was like. "Well girls, I guess it won't ne a chicken parm night for my birthday." As we were about to leave, we were told that they may have room for the 3 of us and I was super happy! We received menus and one of my friends ordered meatballs in fire for the table and when they took down our drink order the red blend wine was not in stock that I was interested in. Not a biggie, I decided to go with a Merlo and to my surprise they sent one of their employees to another restaurant that was owned by the same owner and was beyond happy and gitty :).The meatballs, oh my word! The gorgonzola sauce was not overpowering, the meatballs were tender and just tasty. I placed my order of chicken parm that I've been looking forward to all day. I apologize about the pics due to the lightening, but the meal met my expectations. Chicken was juicy and nice flavored breading. To end the evening on a really special note, they brought a birthday balloon to our the table, a cannoli followed by a song from the employees. Ciao Bella really showed out that night and I was blessed to share this wonderful experience with two of my good friends. There is no doubt in my mind I will be back next time NSB. Thank you again Ciao Bella for a fabulous time!

Delicious Italian! Visted Sicily this past summer and many similar dishes and flavors! Enjoyed the clams, filet, pasta, delicious bread & meatballs. Gnocchi was a favorite! And the service was wonderful. Highly recommend! A gem in NSB. We will be back. Thanks so much.

Great place. Small, but very nice and clean. Our server, Joel, was knowledgeable and helpful. Always checking on us. Very nice wine selection and a small but diverse menu. The food was excellent thanks to the Chef, Genaro. Fresh ingredients, beautiful presentation. Can't beat it. We are from the northeast (Philly) and we have excellent Italian food where we are from. This was a pleasant reminder of good Italian home cooking. We will be back. Enjoy!
