This place has potential, but it failed miserably on our visit. We visited for lunch. The place was full but they put us a wait, probably not to overwhelm the kitchen. Cool. We were the only ones on wait, so still not busy. Once seated they immediately told us they were a scratch kitchen causing them to run behind today. Wait. What? Your number one selling point, being a scratch kitchen is the excuse you're using to be slow? So you haven't figured out how to run your restaurant. Then the server, drenched in overly strong perfume and with no personal boundaries as she felt it okay to keep touching our shoulders, proceeds to interrupt herself while talking to us by talking to every server that walks by her. It was rude. The menu is limited but has interesting options. It is highly over priced. $7.00 for a side of fries, which is less than a McDonals small. It's a ramekin of fries. We ordered but it took about 40 minutes for apps. Server didn't return after taking order until apps were gone. Then ordered food. After almost 2 hours we asked to leave. Tired of waiting. Entrees not yet served. Then the manager came by saying food was on the way. Food arrived and we asked for the check. No discount for 2 hour wait. Took our cards and took her another 15 minutes to cash us out. Place was never overly busy yet it took over 2 hours here to eat a flat bread and sliders and cost over $120. Will not be back. Not worth it.

Finished up an appointment at the VA decided to stop by Chroma with the wife, this is my second time here first review, last experience was fantastic!I love the look of this restaurant, modern chic inviting and hip! If I was 30 years younger I'd probably hang out and have a drink here at night! Anyways, walking in immediately greeted by the hostess with a smile and asked us if we had a reservation to which we replied no just in for quick bite, what I thought classy there was another middle-age female manager sitting at a hightop table on her computer probably doing work for the restaurant, she got up and immediately approached the front door to greet us as well! now that's someone who cares about the business! A wonderful smile and hello and told us we would be seated soon. The restaurant was at about 20% capacity, rather slow for 1 PM seating but we were seated at a beautiful table. A booth immediately approached by the waiter, nice young man took our drink and water order, My wife had a blush sangria and boring me had a unsweet iced tea, both delivered within three minutes, waiter immediately took the appetizer order and was off, returned About six minutes later, letting us know the appetizer will be out shortly took our main course order and was off, two minutes after that the appetizers arrived, we had the street corn fritters, very nice light airy and flavorful, just the right amount of food for a lunch app.Six minutes after the appetizer was finished the entrées arrived, the food looks beautiful, sexy! I had the sliders with fries wife had the Thai pork belly pasta, again fantastic! flavors Awesome! presentation awesome! We ordered dessert to go. We had the cheesecake which arrived carefully packed looking just as beautiful in the box as if it was on the plate! Kudos to the staff for caring so much! This was a great experience if you're ever in the area do yourself a favor and stop by Chroma, judging by the way the restaurant set up It probably has a great nightlife, nice spot to have cocktails conversation and great food, of course.I have spoken ...

Justin was our server.. felt like we knew him forever. He treated us like we were friends. Service was great company better everything we had was exceptional from the plating to the flavor. The happy hour drink seaway margarita!!! Delicious! I'm a person that does not like fruity drinks and this hit the spot. Try them out next time you're in the lake Nona boxy Park areaOh, I forgot to mention the vibe is a little bit upscale but casual at the same time

The Christmas festivities are what drew us to Lake Nana town center and needed to grab a bite for dinner. There was a wait. However, we were seated in less time than originally told. Chroma has the text feature to let you know when your table is ready. We were seated outside, and even though it was chilly out, there were plenty of outside heaters to make it very comfortable. While sitting outside, we had a perfect view of the performances and snow that fell!I ordered a peppermint espresso martini. It was cute with the little candy cane, but I did think the flavor of the cocktail was nothing spectacular. I ordered the lamb sliders. The order comes with 2 sliders that are a decent size. I enjoyed the pickled onions on them. I would suggest the sliders automatically come with a side. We ordered cheeseburger sliders and a side of fries. Service was quick, and our server checked in on us a lot and felt well taken care of.

If you're looking for a fine dining experience with excellent food and vibes in the Orlando area, Chroma in Lake Nona is where you need to be! The service was incredible, my family and I had such a wonderful time. Our server gave the best recommendations and service the entire time. The restaurant itself has a great atmosphere, it is beautifully decorated and they play great music. To start with a bang, the crab and artichoke dip was chef's kiss! So good! The whipped Ricotta crostini was also very good. My sister really enjoyed the Prime Skirt Steak Wedge Salad as well it was very refreshing. The Brussel sprouts were cooked to perfection, some of the best I have tasted. The Josper Roasted Ribeye is humongous and can be shared between two people, the roasted vegetables were the perfect side dish. You cannot go wrong with the fish and chips either, very good. If you are in a chicken mood, Pollo A La Plancha is an excellent choice. We had a wonderful experience and will be back next time we are in town!

We were seated in the atrium which was nice because the inside was so loud and busy. Our server was nice and attentive. The whipped ricotta starter is always top notch. I am obsessed with it. The empanada starter was pretty good too. We got the truffle fettuccine Alfredo in the cheese wheel and I have to say that it was so good. Better than the previous one I had had at another restaurant. The cheesecake dessert was good but the best dessert here is the bread pudding. It is pure magic. Will definitely be back again.

Located in Lake Nona Town Center, Chroma immediately impresses with its modern design and inviting atmosphere. From the open kitchen to the variety of seating options, including a cozy outdoor lounge and covered patio, the vibe is set even before you dive into the meal. When it comes to drinks, I'm a big fan of their Smoke + Mirrors cocktail--a smoky, flavorful twist on the classic Old Fashioned with Buffalo Trace bourbon, demerara, orange, walnut and cherry wood. My wife often picks from their solid wine list. They also offer local beers from nearby Park Brewing. For food, we usually go with three tapas to share. We always make sure to leave room for the Butterscotch Bread Pudding--it's absolutely to die for. Our go-to menu items include the Brussels Sprouts, Crispy Pork Belly Pad Thai, and Lamb Sliders. We've also had great experiences taking the server's recommendations when we want to try something different. If you're in the mood to feast, their Jambalaya from the "To Feast" menu is a winner. It serves 2-4 people and has just the right amount of spice to keep things interesting. One thing we've found is that their brunch menu doesn't quite hit the same mark as the regular menu for us, so we tend to skip brunch here. That said, it's always packed when we've visited, so clearly others enjoy it.Overall, Chroma is a fantastic spot for a night out--good drinks, delicious food, and a great atmosphere. Definitely worth a visit!
