Chino Rico

We were at the hospital near by and my sister chose this Chinese Spanish fusion spot. I ordered the steak meal and regretted it immediately. It was so tough to chew and it was in a nasty sauce. Not what I envisioned. The rice was also nasty, had this pieces of spam or ham, I don't know, but I had to plucked them out, because it was a bootleg version of pork fried rice. I tried my sister's mofongo and it was mushy, I had to spit it out.I need to add the dinning area wasn't clean and the cashier had a stank attitude. I would not recommend coming here. I will never come here again.

My daughter and I work very close from each other and from Chino Rico. I do love some Chinese food puertorican style just like from home in PR. Esoooo!!! Ordered the Mofongo with fire pork chunks and fries. The price was good $11.95 for this combo. The Mofongo (fried mashed plantain ) was moist and with right amount of garlic and the pork chunks nicely fried and seasoned while still moist inside. This was a very good lunch indeed! That's all for now!

As soon as we came(my sister,her daughter,& me) in we ordered right away w/ the cashier. I ordered a monfongo(mashed plantains & fried chicken. All the dishes came w/ fried rice & French fries. My sister ordered a steak w/ onions & a side of maduros(fried sweet plantains).My niece ordered ribs. We received a number that would be called when the food was ready. We waited about 20 mins. So I knew the food would be fresh.This is a Puerto Rican/Chinese food fusion restaurant. There's a lot of them in PR. They are so delicious! It is hard for the states to compete & try to make food the same way. Unfortunately,this restaurant was nowhere near close. My sister's steak tasted weird & was not like the restaurants in PR. It had soy sauce(which is not common)& was well,well done(like rubber). The fried rice tasted weird as well. I only liked the fried rice because/c it came w/ shrimp,eggs,& ham(ham & shrimp are not common neither)in it. On the other hand,my sister & niece hated the shrimp & ham. My monfongo was disgusting I took 1 bite & spat it out. My sister tried it & did the same. I didn't even want to doggie bag it to give it to some1 else b/c it would be an insult. However,my fried chicken (crispy & was just fried),my sister's maduros,& niece's ribs was delish! Inside was a chill vibe! However, the tables were dirty. I told the cashier up front if our table could be wiped. She sent someone over & he had an attitude. I told him thank you & he didn't respond. As if cleaning the table wasn't his job. However later on,he was nice & brought our food over when we raised our hands(when they called our number). He said buen provecho(which means enjoy your meal in Spanish).There also was something sticky spilled on the floor. It looked like it was there for a while. This restaurant also had a section for boba tea. I don't think I'll be back.

Everything I ordered tasted great & fresh! Good quality for a Chinese takeout. Not too greasy, meats weren't overly chewy & definitely will be my new go to for Chinese when I'm in the area.

They use to have 4.5 in my heart, but the meat and portions have changed and it's no bueno. I'm a current customer because it's super convenient and close to home. The taste is pretty decent, and the rice is one of the few that actually have it all the goods. But last time I ordered friend chicken and although not discouraged for the taste, but rather by the lack of portion.Also their sweet and sour chicken used to be fresh, and now... not su much. I'm hoping they go back to their original recipes so I can update this review

Excellent customer service, the food was so delicious and fresh! I got a passion fruit boba tea and it was the most delicious thing in the world!! To eat I chose Mofongo, Carne Frita. The mofongo was Ok! But the pork meat was perfectly seasoned and the cooked. The Krab rangoons were delicious as well! I do recommend you try it for yourself!

The server was honest and recommended the sweet and sour chicken along with the general chicken. The rice was a lot. Food was great, looked clean and It did not taste greasy. The boba tea took about ten minutes to make fresh. The food took a little longer so if you're in a hurry order ahead. Everything tasted fresh and if your in the mood for something different I definitely recommend the food.

Ok food nothing to brag about but good to beat hunger. They serve big portions and one meal is enough to feed 2-3 people if you buy a couple of things on the side as well. Friendly service.

I cannot speak for the food here, but the bubble took about 15-20 minutes to come out despite the store being nearly empty. Additionally the tapioca boba tasted old and not fresh. Would not recommend for bubble tea orders....

Food was good. The boba was around a 7/10 but the rice was good! Although some of my family didn't enjoy the food. For a small business its a 3 star!
