Pretty good chinese food takeout. I've ordered from here a few times in 2023... and never had an issue. Yesterday I had the Chicken w/ Broccoli lunch special with white rice. Ask to be cooked spicy, and it was medium heat. I enjoyed it... and will be back.

The vegetable dish with fresh snow peas and broccoli was well worth it! Tons of snow peas (out of season!) and crunchy fresh broccoli! The black bean beef was tasty although not your typical American dish but good by Chinese standards! Fast efficient service !

It was fast and served it's purpose. Prices have dramatically gone up small size pints are $6.50-$7.75. Shrimp roll was tasty and the lo mein was cooked to order. I try not to eat Chinese food often so I was a bit shocked on the higher cost. Over all it was good.

Ate here recently, we ordered the General Tso combo and the Sesame chicken combo. The sauce on each was largely the same, just a few sesame seeds sprinkled on top to differentiate the two. The egg roll was disappointing as well, more like a flimsy spring roll with little filling. Pork fried rice needed more pieces of pork in it too. The lady who works the register is quite rude too. just not great, but kind of the norm for Chinese food.

No frills, like pretty much every Chinese restaurant that always seems to be directly next to a Publix. This one is different, however.... the food is actually great! I can speak highly of their egg foo young, rangoons, and black pepper chicken. All three are 10/10. Get something else at your own peril, or not?Great stuff.

So I just moved to the Mount Dora area and I must say I was looking for a really good Chinese place!! And the food was absolutely delicious! The rice was clean and cooked to perfection! You didn't even need sauce to eat the rice. You literally can eat it by itself. The food was fresh hot and tasty! Inside the Restaurant the place actually smells good and smells like fresh food. It was super clean inside unlike a lot of restaurants in the area! And the person who answered the phone was super Pleasant!!! The wings were a lil salty but still super good ! I'm just a person who is salt sensitive that's why ! But overall still 5 stars

first time ordering takeout from this place and very disappointed. egg rolls have good flavor, but that's about it. general tso's chicken looked and tasted more like orange chicken. their lo mein wasn't even lo mein noodles - it was overcooked spaghetti tossed with soy sauce. definitely not ordering from here again. blehhhh

Was craving Chinese food and thought I'd try China Star. Not the friendliest place I've ever been- the KungPao chicken was mediocre and the hot and sour soup was awful - tasted like soap, no flavor at all! In my opinion, the Kung pao chicken at Panda Express, (the fast food place by Target) is much better. Maybe I was there on an off-day but it certainly wasn't worth the $14.00 I paid for lunch.
