4 - Stars for Portion size, Quality, Taste & Texture! (I tried their Roast Pork fried rice QT-size enough for 2-people)This place is not for high end dining! But if you are looking for reasonably priced great tasting Chinese dishes, then this place is definitely worth a try.Their service is prompt and Semi-friendly.The only down side was that I had to ask for a metal spoon instead of using their standard issue plastic fork. I asked for pepper, they gave me two black pepper packets - I should have requested hot sauce instead! We were in a hurry, so I'll remember to request hot sauce next time!I will definitely go there again anytime I am in Lakeland.

This is a crab Rangoon it should be just call empty shell. What a disappointment. Then I ordered carry out. One order was suppose to have the bourbon sauce on the rice and of course it was not. Then the lady told me over the phone what my total was 24.00 and some change when I arrived she told me 25.00 with no change then I asked her for my change and she said oh we don't have any. First off if you want to keep my change the polite thing to come out your mouth is "I'm sorry we are out of change so you have the exact amount or do you mind not getting change back". Don't assume that I want to leave whatever penny I have to anyone. I work hard for my just like others do and now a days each penny counts

So this was our first time eating here and can't complain. In fact we'll be back for sure. I had never been here before when it was a different Chinese restaurant but I read prior reviews. As of this visit this place was so super CLEAN and ORGANIZED! The lady working the counter was very nice and a pleasure to place my order with. She made sure than our orders were taken correctly and was very clear when repeated back. We could see the kitchen the entire time while our food was cooked and we very much enjoyed it once it was done. Yum!I DO recommend!

Wonderful fried rice and tasty general Tao. I asked for extra broccoli and they did not disappoint. I'll be back often!!!

Terrible customer service, tried to act like i did something wrong because of there false advertisement, tried cheating us with are money and got a refund, also false advertisement on papers, the very short lady is very rude but the boy at the front is somewhat nice, I recommend to not go if you wanna get yelled at like your a dog I recommend to not go.

I was really excited to try this place out because I saw many people ordering from China Chen's. The lady at the counter was extremely short and somewhat rude. I watched her thank several non/black customers for coming and even wished them a good night. As a woman of color, this is so sad to witness because I know we make up about 80 percent of the business. I will not be going back based on the lack of customer service. I advise black people to spend their money elsewhere. Go where you are appreciate!!

Customer service was horrible the lady at the front had a rude and nasty attitude, don't call or go there if you want to get yelled at and told to leave for asking questions about the entrees she will either hang up or discriminate against you when you get there

They try to cheap you out of your food and blame you for their mistake. Always check your bag before leaving. We got home and some of our order was missing. Call them and they said that they checked it four times. Obviously not!

I went to southeastern university five minutes from here. This was my second home!! I love China Chen's and would eat her literally three times a week. Best Chinese restaurant in Lakeland hands down! If anyone leaves a bad review of this place they are petty and stupid. Leave a bad review on yourself!
