Chimiking Poinciana

Here's my honest review: great food, we come back solely because of their flavors. I must say tho, the wait time is a little too much. When ordering ahead for pick up, they'll say "25 minutes" but in reality it's more closer to 50-60 minutes. So just come prepared if you plan on dining in. On this last visit, it was a takeout and had it not been for my son asking for his coke, we would have left without it. I ordered 3 cokes to go and the waitress had completely forgotten to prep them. But again, it's a delicious restaurant with lots of variety and great prices, just with the waiting, I'm not so sure others might of endured.

The Chimiking franchises can vary depending on what you order. This location was great and they were fast with the orders and made sure to get our food out as soon as possible even though I was on a lunch break. Parking lot a little small , but not too crowded since we got there for 11am, which is their opening hours. I really enjoyed their chimi burger , it was so delicious , flavorful , and the fresh lemonade was the best pair. Fries still had This oily/greasy taste, but it was fried to the right crispy texture. It was quiet for the most part until lunch hour hit, but I would definitely recommend coming out here to try their amazing dishes and options!

Clean and friendly staff, I don't know why the food didn't taste as good as the other locations, four stars are for the prices I feel they bumped them up to much for what you get. In all clean place well decorated and friendly staff.

Was in the area and saw this restaurant and it did t look to busy considering it was a Saturday night so we gave it a try. Inside is a bit small but still cute. The food was good and came out fast! Will go back for the dinner meals as we only tried the chimi burger and the Yaroa (which is fries with chicken and sauce).

This is my first time at this location. The one I usually go to is on Whisperlakes. We always come for their fried meat sampler and plantains chips. It's a good portion for two people to share with a red country club and my husband gets a presidente beer. We always leave satisfied.

I enjoyed this restaurant very much. It offered all the foods my husband grew up eating, and all my favorite foods that I enjoy gorging on.This restaurant was impressive for me. I'm a stickler for a clean table, clean booth, clean silverware, clean glasses, and dishes. There silverware looked like it had just been polished, and there were no caked on food, or hard water spots on the silverware, or glasses. (My pet peeve, sorry).I love that they serve piping hot large portions, because I like taking food home. I loved their mofongo, tostones, arroz con camarones, yucca, and beans and rice. It was all so good, I was dancing in my seat as I ate.I love this place.

My go to place for good Dominican home cooking. Customer service is great each time. And I like they speak to me in Spanish because I go so much I understand what they are asking me. I've tried another Chimiking restaurant near where I live...no bueno. This is the best location. Food is cooked when you order but worth the small wait. Atmosphere is families all around enjoying a good meal. Everything I've had here so far which are many things if you look at my pics have been delicious. Don't sleep on the cappuccino! A must try place.

Call to make an order and the lady that answered the call does not want to be there at all she was rude and aggressive. First time in the restaurant located at the corner of pleasant hill and never will go there again. That was two years ago today August 2020 I called and will never ever call or go there again

Ordered bistec encebollado witness arroz con habichuelas. It was very good. I just hated that they used 3 different containers to pack my food alone. The staff was very kind. Only spoke Spanish but I think they understand most English. I'm a Spanish speaker but my friend isn't but he was able to order. His order was incorrect though. Restaurant is cute and clean very cold we ordered our food Togo.

OMG, I came with my family to eat and food was excellent! Ivonne was very attentive and friendly. I really recommend this place.
