I got lucky today because I just found out my new office. Location is directly next-door to a place called chili spot. This restaurant has the best Szechuan Chinese food I've ever had in Orlando or anywhere else for that matter and the service was spot on. I get treated like a regular customer even though it was my first time and I met some amazing people as well. I can't wait to come back. Thank you.

My wife, daughter and I visited on Saturday, this was only for lunch and since it was our first visit we ordered two standard Chinese dishes, we got the Kung Pao Chicken and fried rice. The Kung Pao Chucken literally was only chicken and peanuts, no vegetables, not even onions and bell peppers. Their Kung Pao sauce was IMHO not good, possibly an authentic schezwan dish, but nothing like I ever had before, loaded with schezwan pepper and chili oil, yet not particularly spicy. As a comparison Panda Express's Kung Pao Chicken is more spicy and not oily and has bell peppers and zucchini, and is just plain better in my novice opinion. Also their Kung Pao was loaded with peanuts, nearly 50/50 ratio of peanuts to chicken, this was strange and not good, to me, I enjoy a few peanuts, but it would seem more normal to have a lot more chicken than peanuts. The dish was literally chicken, peanuts, and a lot of schezwan pepper and chili oil. I mean just plain dripping in chili oil. The fried rice was better, a mix green onions, eggs, pork and shrimp. Good but dry, not enough sauce, and there were no condiments such as soy or hoisin on table, so we couldn't add our own. The resturant was packed, probably a dozen dishes on menu that could have been more to my liking. But I thought going with Kung Pao for first visit seemed like a smart choice, but I was wrong at this place. Honestly, if this authentic, I would be better off just going to Cantonese style places in the future, I just could not get past the level if schezwan pepper and chili oil. Service was fine, nice...

Pretty good authentic food. Prices are a little high for what it is. Service is generally pretty good. Avoid during holidays, as this place is insane during.

Authentic, delicious and SPICY I have visited the ChiliSpot in St. Louis and had to try the Florida version. Just as kind of service, just as good of prices and it smells SO good the second you step inside. This is authentic food, so be prepped for very spicy flavor and unique food items. But if this is what you want, you will get it.

Great service, super friendly staff. I asked for recommendations and they gave us a lot of recommendations. The food came out very quick. I wish the potato is more crispy. Overall a great place to get some spicy Sichuan food.

I was so impressed by the high quality dishes I tried at Chilispot. I cannot recommend this place enough for authentic Chinese dishes. I arrived on a Thursday night at 9:30pm. Even though the restaurant closes at 10pm, the waiters were incredibly kind and still let me order and take a seat. The service itself was commendable throughout my experience - the waiters were quick and kept checking in with my party to make sure we were enjoying the food. The restaurant interior is comfortable, and even though it was late, the restaurant was packed. The food was so good! As someone who eats Chinese food often, I was blown away by this spot's unique dishes. My absolute favorite dish was the deep fried egg tofu with salted egg yolk. The egg tofu was so silky, a contrast with the salted egg yolk batter on the outside. It was the perfect bite of savory flavors. I've never seen this dish at other Chinese restaurants, and I was a fan of how unique and delicious it was. The dry fried string beans were crispy and salty, stir fried with an umami minced pork. I could not stop eating them, and the string beans were delicious paired with rice. Lastly, the Szechuan style short rib had a mala spice that was decadent. It was just enough spice and was balanced with a generous topping of fresh cilantro.Every single dish was delicious, the waiters were on top of it, and I loved my visit! I will definitely be coming back.

Food here is really authentic and delicious. Would highly recommend! As the name suggests, almost all dishes are spicy, but it's not too much that you can't handle it, or that it masks the flavours of the dishes. They have a wide assortment of very tasty dishes, and would recommend the boiled fish!

Finally made the trek to this spot and wow what a hole in the wall! Definitely legit as the clientele was all older Asians. Staff spoke English but mandarin definitely preferred. Basically all the food is spicy but different intensities. The boiled fish was really tasty I was surprised because wasn't initially appetizing. Also ordered a tofu dish but felt like it was missing something. The popcorn chicken was a bit too crispy, tasted more like pork rinds with spicy seasoning. Another dish I failed to document was a cold potato dish which was great! There was a zing to the food and i kept going back for more. The cold noodle dish was also very good, easy to wash off the spicy for a toddler. Overall pretty impressed with this spot, prices are on the higher end and better to go with more people to eat family style.

This was a random spot we decided to go to because we were in the area. Never heard of the place but glad we stopped in! The food is VERY authentic. Very nice clean modern decor. If you like Szechuan flavor, there are plenty of dishes to try and the prices are fair. Everything we ordered did not go to waste
