Chikiz Empanaditas Gourmet

We visited this food truck while at Paws & Pints in Sanford during March. One of our friends had gotten an order of the empanaditas and they looked so good we got some for ourselves before leaving. They were so tasty and I love the beef & potato filling. The sauce was so good but I wish there had been more. I had no wait while going to order & they were ready super quickly & were hot & fresh. It was a good experience & I would visit again to try other items.

This food truck came to our community so we wanted to give them a try. I was greeted warmly by the super friendly order-taker. This makes all the difference! Everything was served hot and well packaged. Bonus points for having nice packaging.Salchipapas - basically sliced hot dogs and french fries with sauce. What's not to like?Colombian Hot Dog was excellent! The crushed potato chips made it! Mike didn't like the lettuce and maybe some of the sauces so we'll 86 the lettuce and get the sauces on the side next time. Lots of food here. Will definitely get this again.Empanaditas (small empanadas, 5 to an order) were nice and warm and crispy. We had the beef and it seemed like just seasoned shredded beef to me, no onions or peppers. Thumbs up from me.Loaded Arepa - we got carnitas. Will have as leftovers since we ordered too much food. ;-)

This truck has been at the Sanford Porchfest both times I went. The first time I found it on accident. This time I went out of my way to find it because they're that good. The person taking orders is polite, and the actual food is really, really good. I got the Loaded Arepa both times and lemme tell you.... well worth the price. Very filling, so much flavor, absolutely delicious. Highly recommend.
