Chicago Stop

I came to the Plant Street Market recently to see what all the fuss was all about. I decided to start getting one thing from each stall of interest until I had what I considered a good amount of food. In my ordering frenzy, I ordered an item I actually don't run across too often in the suburbs of Orlando. I ordered the Italian Beef Sandwich. A regionally legendary sandwich that always draws me in. Maybe it's the soggy bread that always inevitably disintegrates. Maybe it's the generous portion of beef that is always moist and juicy. Maybe it's the giardiniera that adds a Massive pop of freshness, crunch, and acid. Either way, it was delicious. It was excellent. The service was ok. They found some kids that were willing to work for cheap, I guess. No extraordinary customer service, but nothing negative, either. Overall, a five star sandwich, and I will have a few more of these before the end of all things.

Sean is the man! I'm from Chicago and I've had my share of "Chicago Dogs" that have been good, but he nailed it. Anyone visiting Winter Garden from anywhere but mostly Chicago need to try this dog! Best one I've ever had outside Chicago! The Plant Street Market is a great place to hang out at. Everything there is top notch!

Pros:Another great little shop in the great Plant Street Market. Pretty quick service compared to the other shops in the market. We had our food very promptly. The sandwich was stacked with meat, not skimpy on the portion size at all. Cons:None. Just be care. The inherent moist nature of the sandwich we ordered means it WILL fall apart and be very messy. Tips:Get the Chicago Italian Beef. Maybe ask for a little more giardiniera on the side.

Quick sandwich spot inside Plant St MarketI can specifically for the Italian Beef. It was good but not great. Pretty salty and not enough giardinara for me. It was a decent size, though. They don't sell French fries, but thankfully the restaurant across from them offers fries - so I bought some from them. If you're here and want a sandwich it's a good option, but I wouldn't go out of my way.

As a Chicagoan now living in Winter Garden, I am always looking for some true Chicago style hot dogs and beefs. Yes we do have a Portillos here now but I had always thought a small Chicago style shop with Dogs and beefs would make a killing.I had the beef today, baptized.....it was absolutely authentic!! The dogs are spot on as well!! I will ALWAYS order from here when I am at plant street!

I got the New York dog and the dawgs had a great snap to them. Prices are reasonable considering the other options in the same market.

Outstanding Chicago hot dogs. I very pleasant surprise here in Winter Garden. I'll definitely come back.
