I came here with my family for magical dining and had the best experience by far here! The building itself has an old rustic feel, like a lot of history is in there. A smaller space with welcoming employees. Alescis was an incredible server who was very welcoming from the moment we walked into the restaurant. Highly recommend you come in and ask for him to take care of you. His timing was great and was very attentive to the table. As for the magical dining: We did the wine pairing coming to $65 a person and it was the best decision we've made. Every pairing enhanced the meal and experience. As a family, we've already spoken about making a trip out here again soon!

First time here and it was for Magical Dining. Located in Winter Park where there were a lot of restaurants parking can be a little difficult to find. Upon arrival we were seated in a room that reminded me of a very elegant home. Most everyone there chose Magical Dining menu. We had the escargot for appetizers which were delicious. We followed that with filet mignon and potatoes for our entree. Slightly disappointed with the filet as it didn't have the good sear on the outside...seemed as of it was steamed beforehand. We ended with crème brûlée and chocolate cake for dessert which were good. Service was excellent too!

To say my experience at Hannibal's/Chez Vincent was an amazing time would be an understatement. I host different dinner parties quarterly and I had 24 guests dine in the wine cellar. The theme was a game of Clue and the wait staff was so accommodating with our crowd. Everyone was so helpful, the food was delicious, and the wine was paired nicely with the meal. Pictured is escargot, Caesar salad, chicken with a Dijon sauce and a raspberry/chocolate mousse. I know it isn't easy serving such a big group of people but they did a fabulous job! I highly recommend dining with them or if you're festive like me, renting out their wine cellar! Five stars all around!!!

Pleasant but So-So-It was a pleasant experience for the most part - a cozy spot. Food was good but not special. The service was good but he didn't make sure everything was OK after serving. One of the steak dishes was served rare instead of medium; and it took 10-15 minutes or more to get his attention. They fixed it but way too late. My fish almondine was overcooked but tasty. Crab cake was OK. Caesar Salad was fair. Creme Brulee was Meh. Overall, I'm not sure I'll be back.

Everything was very disappointing. The bread was a bit crusty and stale (though I did like the sun dried tomato butter they served with it). The lamb was simply ok. I don't like that they took the meat off the bone for me and then smothered it in this rich blue cheese sauce. It was a weird sauce to serve with lamb to begin with, and then there was just too much of it. I asked for double vegetables instead of the starch, and I feel like I still only received one portion. The meal did not fill me up, and for the price, I was disappointed in the size and quality. My dining companions said the burgers they ordered were again nothing special.

I visited Chez Vincent for a mystery dinner party called: Classified, this past weekend. While I've been to another restaurant in Hannibal Square, I had never been to Chez Vincent. So, I was quite excited to visit this restaurant and dine. The mystery dinner party was hosted in the wine cellar of the restaurant - which can be rented for private dining/parties. So, it was cozy and quaint and fit perfectly into our All Black Attire detective theme for the evening. The overall restaurant itself is charming. It has a lovely European feel to it that brought me back to my days of studying abroad in Europe. The wine cellar had a surprisingly modern twist to it but it drew in the grand archways used to transition to the wine storage rooms as a beautiful homage to a classic architectural feature. Overall, it was quite a stunning space and the brick... really just ties it all together. Coupled with the simple table decor (the hand towels added a unique flair), the space was fit for a mystery dinner! Speaking of, the dinner itself was quite tasty. In addition to having to solve the mystery of whom stole the Black Diamond necklace, with each new clue we were given, we got a new course paired with it. Starting with our appetizer, a salad, the main entree and ending with dessert. We had up to 2 to 3 choices within each course and mine (as I will also rate them) were as follows: Soupe de jour (mushroom soup), Caesar salad, Pasta with white wine cream (mushroom pasta), and the Creme Brûlée. All dishes were good but the standout dish was hands down the Soupe de jour. I am not even a mushroom lover (in fact, I do not eat them as their texture tends to turn my palate off). However, the flavoring of that soup was heavenly! I would go back for just that soup alone! I think it won my heart over because the mushroom was so finally chopped that I hardly noticed them. The Caesar salad was nothing to brag about. It was your standard Caesar. Dressing was good. The white wine (mushroom pasta) was also good and had a lot of the same notes of the Soupe de jour but it just didn't wow me as much as the soup did. Also, the mushrooms, were not as finely chopped and very visible - which took away a little bit from the overall experience of that dish for me. However, I love most pastas, so I definitely finished it. Finally, the creme brûlée was also nothing to truly brag about but it was good. I wished the hard top was hardened a bit more and the overall custard filling was just a tad more flavorful, but alas, it's one of my favorite desserts of all time, so I definitely finished it. All in all, the food was good! Finally, before I wrap this up, let me give a special shout out to the servers we had that evening as they were exceptionally great!! They went above and beyond (also special thanks to chefs). They accommodated for those whom had food allergies, were able to work within the cozy quarters of the wine cellar and kept up the light and warming banter we had that evening. I cannot thank themENOUGH for aiding in creating a wonderful dining experience. All in all, I enjoyed my first visit to Chez Vincent. I'll definitely have to pay them another visit to get an even better feel of the restaurant but until then, this was a great first impression!!

We have been at this cozy restaurant many times at it has never disappointed us! My husband loves their venison! I ordered this time the special of the day which was a seared mahi-mahi on butter and capers sauce, and the third person in our group ordered the crepe au poulet. For dessert, the coconut cake was fantastic! Our server was super friendly and very helpful.

Ambiance: 3/5. Service: 4/5. Food: 5/5. Ambiance and vibe were a little confusing and discombobulated, and the blue chairs were not comfy for me. But service was good. Loved Kathleen. I think they were a bit short-staffed on the Hannibal's side due to event. But she was sweet and the food came out quick. We had the escargot and spinach dip for apps. Split the mushroom soup. It was phenomenal. Then we had the venison and the mahi mahi special. Both were great. Second time being here and both were great. Will definitely be back.

Loved everything about this place.#1 - Aleccis was our waiter and was perfect. Definitely made our evening very enjoyable#2 - The food is amazing! We had the filet mignon that was so tender you could cut it with a fork. Our friends had the salmon and loved it. The escargot, mushroom soup and tuna made great appetizers.#3 - We all commented about how we felt so relaxed and happy in their space. Definitely reminded me of France. My husband thought finding a good French restaurant would make me stop asking to go back to Paris but it's done the opposite and I'm begging! In the meantime I look forward to returning here!
