Chez Joly

As authentic as it gets. My husband has been dying for some Griot and we came up here after my daughters tournament one day. Chez Joly is a little hole in the wall, and if I've learned anything, it's that little hole in the walls are usually the best food you'll ever eat. I was right. We had the griot with some peas and rice and tostones (plantains) Listennnnn, the meat was fried to perfection and tender on the inside I (ahem WE) will be making the track here again from Lake Mary the next time we're in the area for a tournament Delicious delicious delicious!

I got to try Chez Joly when they catered an event at the Abbey in downtown Orlando. They had a nicely varied menu which was a little pricey. Definitely higher than this page indicates. But I was hungry, so what can you do?I ordered the lamb chop dinner. It was really good. For $20 the portion was comparable to what you'd get from other restaurants at that price point. It was really tasty! There was a curry sauce on the rice that was really good.I hope this place makes it. I'll be looking for them at other venues.

Having lived in Haiti and other islands of the Caribbean, I am not only familiar with their food culture, but I truly enjoy it. Chez Rosie is a very good example of the best Haitian food, no gimmicks necessary, and lots of good flavor. I came for some gryot (pork chunks) with rice/beans and plantains, and it was really good and fresh. The pickliz, a spicy coleslaw, was on point and one of the best I've ever had (besides my version). This place is legit. The only downside would be that there are only two tables, and those sitting down may not get up anytime soon. Consider Chez Rosie strictly take out.

This restaurant is so good! The chef (I didn't catch his name) is so awesome! So kind and informative. He loves what he does and it comes out in the food. I'd recommend this place to anyone. The food is so dang flavorful. It's on a little corner and easy to miss but don't let that happen. You'd be sorry!

Authentic Haitian food at its finest! Quick service and hot food. I can't really give details on the restaurant since my husband went in to get the food for me. I had fried pork with black rice and sauce on the side. Im giving 4 stars because they didn't have the fried turkey instead.

Great food! But please change your hours listed here on Yelp. I live in Davenport and came all the way here to find out it closes at 7pm.

By far the most authentic and delicious Haitian food within a 50 mile radius. Very affordable and never runs out. The Legume is a must try

My husband and I are visiting from Chicago and were looking for Haitian food. We looked up Haitian place nearby and found Chez Rosie. It took us 30mn to get there and we are delighted to say that it was well worth it. Chef Joly is very hospitable. He made us feel right at home. He took his time to share his life with us, gave us a tour of his business and ensure that we were satisfied with the food. I am happy to say that the food was delicious. The place may be small but his heart his big. I thank you for a wonderful service sir. Lots of success to you and your family.

I had a really good time there compare to other Haitian restaurant they have very good customer service and the food is excellent well presented and served fast I would encourage others to visit.

Best Haitian/Caribbean food hands down. Chef is very nice and welcoming. I love the fried fish and plantains. I will be back to try more dishes.
