I have said before in reviews that it can be tough judging a fast food place, or even a sit-down restaurant, in one visit, but there are so many choices out there we sort of have to do it sometimes. We stopped at this branch of Checkers on our way home from a stay in Orlando. There was no inside seating, just tables with umbrellas outside, but that was fine. We opted for the 2 for $5 double fish sandwiches and a medium order of the fries. There was no doubt that it was cooked up fresh for us, for it was all hot, rather than lukewarm from sitting around. It was great. The fries were not at all generous for the price, but they are crispier and better than most, and besides, we try to cut down on consuming carbs. Add to that the fact that soft serve cones, (I know, more carbs!) unlike McD's, are still $1, and you get a tasty fast food lunch for 10 bucks. We don't do fast food very often, but this was the best in a long time.

They are very welcoming and kind people! Food was nice and fresh and i enjoyed being there since it was fun. Employees are funny and i can tell are very hardworking too! Shout out to Deandre!

Waited at the order window for about 15 minutes without any acknowledgment, I got the cooks attention and he just mouthed to me that he's making food. After a while later, I had to knock on the window to get the cashier's attention. Every time I have been there, they seem grossly understaffed. Manager needs to up the quality of service to keep from giving this brand a bad reputation. Maybe it's too late.

So tonight I went thru the drive thru at Checkers by my house ... I ordered the new Texas Toast burger meal and the baconator meal ( my usual) they were fast and pleasant when I got to the windowMy Baconator as usual was delicious cooked perfectly and perfectly hot fries but there wasn't alot of them at all ... My Boyfriend's Texas Toast Burger he stated the bread was hard on the edges and fried onions weren't so crispy and his fries were good but there wasn't alot of them either This is a good place to stop and get something quick to bring home and not to hard on the wallet depending on what you get of course

So today was take out night and we picked checkers I got the Texas toast double combo, and all thought that might sound nice it's not the toast is hard and and the fried onions is just over kill I would not recommend ordering this meal.... Definitely a one star place . I thought steak and shake was bad I was soooo wrong

I waited 39 minutes AFTER putting in my order to receive my food and they didn't have time to toast it? There was nobody there when my order was put in, so why not start making it?? I waited to pull into the pick up line until a few minutes after my order was said to be ready and wasn't acknowledged for an additional 15 minutes of sitting at the window. At that point 4 cars had come through the drive thru and ordered as well as received their food, and a few lined up behind me on the pick up side. My order was entered at 9:48 per my email and receipt (I did it while sitting in the parking lot)and I didn't receive it until 10:27. The lady was dancing around inside but was not very nice and basically threw the food at the car door frame and closed the window real fast. People behind us were getting out of their car as well to try and get orders and I could hear her yelling at him to get back in the car and wait. We will not be back, it's no wonder it's usually empty, everybody else must feel the same!

It's ok. Like any other regular checkers. The only thing is it's always very slow at this location going to the drive thru can easily take at least 25 minutes with 2 or 3 cars in front. The prices are low which is great in this economy. I recommend to check your order before you leave cause I forgot and got the wrong drink not a big deal tho.

The service is absolutely terrible at this checkers location. We ordered funnel cake fries which had little to no powdered sugar on them so when we asked them to put more the "manager" said they couldn't find another pack of powdered sugar and when my boyfriend asks them to look again because we didn't get what we had ordered she snatched the bag out of my boyfriends hand and slammed the window closed. After the window closed they gave us the fries with powdered sugar not even a minute later so clearly they hadn't even checked. Another worker then took over at the window and when we asked for the woman's name she said she wasn't allowed to give out names of co workers and when we asked for a manager the other worker said that the girl who had snatched our food was the manager and she refused to speak to us to give us her name. Very nasty service and extremely disrespectful and unprofessional. Will be reporting her to corporate as we took a picture because she refused to come speak to us or give us her name while claiming to be the manager. Not coming back here again this woman absolutely needs to check how to treat her customers.
