I had not had a checkers burger in quite awhile. The prices are not horribly outlandish at 2 burgers for $5. Or double cheeseburgers at $6.50 for two. The kids meals don't come with a toy or a cookie which doesn't make my 8 year old pick checkers first in any situation. The old school feel of the double drive thru will always make me think of late night high school runs to get these burgers. But now one of the lanes is exclusive for mobile order pick up so that's nice. It looked like only one person was running the entire restaurant and she was super super nice. I joined the rewards program so we will see what kind of alerts I get for specials

Food was ok nothing special. Fries were ok the chicken bites were good the burgers were not good tasted really weird but I've never had them so maybe that's how it is! Service was quick and the restaurant was only open for drive through. I won't return!

Yikes, I'm glad I didn't read the reviews before stopping late on a Friday night (11:30p is late to us). After a night of drinking, we were hungry and Mrs. S. Loves their cheese sticks. Ok, I do too. And their fries are good too. Well, a snack turned into a meal once we saw the 2 for $4 menu too.We parked and ordered at the walk up window, the food was done rather quickly (a few minutes is all). The sandwiches had lots of fresh toppings, the chicken was crispy and delicious, the cheese sticks didn't need any of that crap-ass marinara and the fries were on point.I've been to other Checkers (Alafaya and Colonial) and have waited WAY longer for stuff and it wasn't as fresh and as well prepared as the food here. The 5 stars if for comparison to other fast food place. The fact that they nailed it so late and didn't just phone it in is amazing. Peering into the window, I saw a full crew busting their tails to serve the 2 drive thru lines, mobile orders and people walking up and ordering and they didn't miss a beat. If I had the late night munchies, I'd totally stop here again.

Honestly surprised at these reviews because this checkers has changed SOOO MUCH since the recent renovations. The entire building is new and maybe with that came new people in the kitchen because the food always hits nowadays. The baconzilla came out super huge, loaded with super crispy bacon and tasted so fresh. The fries are always hot and crispy, never cold or soggy so far every time I've come after the renovations. I am writing this review from the sit of my car without even trying the food yet. I have been waiting here in a long line of cars for 30 min and I am still at least another 10 min away from receiving my food. This chain operates as a fast food drive through. This location missed the fast part and drive through part as well. After receiving my food my order was wrong too. I will not be coming back here again. What a waste of time!

I ordered and then paid, then the cashier asked me to "drive around to the next window" to pickup my food. I should have said cancel my order. There were 4 people working and a robot takes your order. Apparently my 1 sandwich 2 chili dogs broke them. Like an idiot I drove around so they could then complete 3 other orders behind me. Obviously they forgot about me or something. The bald head manager even walked out in the middle of these 3 trying to figure out how to do their jobs. I waited 20 minutes. No joke. I even got out and went to the window to cancel my order and get a refund. What do ya know. Order was ready. Fries ice cold. No bacon or onions on the BACON sandwich. I'm not trying to punch down on fast food workers. But if you can't even navigate putting together 5 ingredients to create a sandwich, zero change hand hygiene is being done. They did take the time to make sure my receipt didn't have the survey code at the bottom so I couldn't complain online. Don't go here. Let this business close.

i went to this checkers and it has been a long time i ordered my food it came out so fresh and amazing the customer service was amazing ordering through the new ai was weird so i asked for a person and the person that helped me was coral at the window i told her thank you for the help and sondra greeted me and gave me my food it was made fresh she made my day with the manners telling me to have a good day.

0 stars. It's honestly embarrassing how a shift lead manager will take my order and still mess it up. If I lived any closer I would've came back just to tell her to her face that she doesn't deserve her position. Joke of an establishment. Go elsewhere.
