Went here and burgers were great and I love their fries. Was quick and friendly service. I will go here now instead of Steak n Shake seeing as Steak n Shake make their own hours of operation up by the day.

Service was fun and friendly, and they were slammed. I ordered three BLT's two checker burgers, a fry livers box, a large strawberry Fanta and a mozzarella sticks, and it was out the window in less than five minutes. I could not believe myself. Best checkers bar none I have ever been to and smiley is the best customer service rep checkers worker I have ever interacted with kudos to you A+ 10 out of 10 I would recommend.

Fast food not so fast... only one car in front of me last night around 730p. Waited about 10 minutes for them to take their order. When it was my turn I waited 5 minutes... next pulled up to the window where I paid and they handed me food that belonged to a guest at the window. Finally got our order. Took in total 27 minutes.

Husband got Brisket bosswich Combo and I got the brisket melt. Brisket is surprisingly good, not dry at all. However there's no difference in brisket quantity comparing both sand, disappointing to pay more money for the same thing

07/24/2019I was contacted by a Checkers representative and she apologized for the previous experience. She wanted me to give this restaurant another try and said they have recently had a lot of turn over. She said she would replace my order plus send me a coupon for a free meal. This is a new store so I went back today, two weeks later for the replacement order.The cashier found my order and said it was for replacement and to please pull forward. We went in at 11:00AM and were the only car in the drive thru. The manager came to the window and introduced herself to me and said she would make sure my order was right this time.My Original order was 2 Double Checkers Burgers W/ Cheese, 2 Double Checkers Burgers W/ no Cheese or pickles, Two Large Fries and an Ice Fruit Drink.The manager came to the window with my order and handed me the bag and said she added an extra fry to my order.When I got home the Burgers were all 4 singles burgers, and there was one medium fry in the bag. You would think if the manager took care of the order personally she could get it right. The ticket listed Double Checkers Burgers. For West Volusia County the only good Checkers is the South Woodland Blvd Checkers in Deland. It is a shame. Checkers has good food but they can't read tickets.Three Weeks PriorI was really excited that we were getting a Checkers in Orange City and could not wait to stop in. Today July 3rd was my first visit and my fist impression of this location. I was at Deland Nissan and thought about running across the street to Checkers and ordering a burger but I had to pick up groceries on the way home and thought I would give the new Checkers in Orange City a try since it was on my way home. It was 12:50 when I pulled in two cars in front of me. It was 1:00 when the car at the menu board finally moved. I got to the menu board at 1:05 and placed my order. Two Double Checkers Burgers with Cheese, Two Double Checkers Burgers without Cheese or pickles, two large Fries, and a Lrg Peach Mango Ice smoothie. I got to the window and questioned the price as it seemed high right off the bat. Two double Checkers burger @ 2 for five times 2 10.00 + 2 Lrg Fries 2.99 each 5.98 + smoothie 2.79 and the cashier said it was 21.03. Even with sales tax I told her it should be less than 20.00. She double checked the order and stated the totals were correct. I collected the order and on the way home snuck a fry out of the bag. It was hot but tasted of old grease. When I got home everyone went for the fries and said yuck. My 4 year old grandson who usually prefers fries and nothing else didn't want anything thing to do with them and said it was gross. Getting the burgers out of the bag none were marked so I had to open all of the greasy wrappers to see which had cheese. None of the Double Checkers Burgers with Cheese had cheese. All of the burgers also had no pickles. The lettuce on all the burgers was wilted and brown at the edges.The bag had a sticker, tell us how we are doing at guestobsessed.com and I could not get my phone fast enough. The first thing they ask for is the store number on the webpage with a nice diagram of where to find it on the receipt. The receipt had Store # but there was no number. I looked online but no store number was listed for the Orange City location. As I was looking at the receipt I noticed the Charged .49 cents for two burgers to take the cheese and pickles off. I was very disappointed with this location and may give them one more try. I have certain Checkers locations that I avoid, Downtown Deland, Bevelle Rd Daytona Beach, and the Sanford location because of poor service. South DeLand and International Speedway Blvd Daytona are two of my favorite locations. I have been a Checkers fan since the late 80's and know which are good and which to avoid.
