CFS Coffee

Cute little coffee shop. Service was quick. The place got busy, fast, on a Saturday morning around 10. I'd say the cup of coffee was decently priced. I bet I could've gotten a refill if I asked but I only had time for one. They give you a number so they can bring your order out to you. Thought that was weird for a cup of coffee. Soon enough the numbers were all mixed up and our group of 8 refused a couple food and drink items that arrived that were not ours! Some of our items took awhile to arrive- maybe they went to the wrong table! I did not eat but the girls had the avocado toast and the açaí bowl and it all looked good. We had a variety of coffees and teas and everyone was happy. They had a little booth in the corner they reserved for our special occasion and we were grateful. Such a fun time.

I had a nice visit to CFS Coffee! The avocado toast was fresh and flavorful, and the Farmer's Latte hit the spot with its rich, balanced taste. I also appreciated the extra touch of frothing the cream for the regular drip coffee--such a nice detail that adds to the experience. The staff seemed much more pleasant and attentive this time, which made the visit even better. Definitely a cozy spot worth returning to!

Probably 5 stars for the coffee, but I was only with someone who had that. For me, it was for brunch. You need to order at the counter and find a seat. There aren't many to choose from, so this really isn't a sit in go to place. It feels like a coffee shop, but the menu does offer a surprisingly wide selection for such a place.I had the BLTE Yucca Waffle Sandwich - Filled with bacon, lettuce, tomato, mayonnaise and one over easy egg. Topped with grilled mozzarella cheese, sliced avocado and hemp seeds on the side. I'm not against being healthy, but normally I skip breakfast entirely. So, when I do indulge, it is usually to my own detriment. Here, I guess there was a balance. However, it was just good and not great and maybe that is more of what I was expecting as opposed to what was there.

Very cute shop with nice dishes. Coffee is above average. Food is stellar. Seating is 4/5. Outlets at every table is a plus. Staff is very attentive and vibes are great! Will be back.

This is my second review for CFS lake Mary. I love the food and their coffee so much I had to give it another opportunity since the first time I came I was very disappointed about how long they took to bring out the food. I went for breakfast with my in laws and my husband. My husband and I shared the waffle sandwich that was very tasty. My mother in law ordered the peanut butter toast and my father in law the veggie sandwich. We were all satisfied by the food.We ordered dulce de leche capuchinos, a latte and a frappe (not pictured). All were also pretty good. I'm giving 3 starts because we got our coffees pretty quick and they didn't bring the food for 40 minutes! By the time the food came we didn't have any coffee left. My mother in law likes to eat and drink her coffee at the same time so she ordered a 2nd one. I'm not sure if I'll be coming back given how long they take to prepare the food unless I have all my morning to be wasted. I only recommend this place if you are ready to wait a very long time for you food.

Visited this past week and had an interesting experience. First off, I ask the lady at the front register how much a brewed coffee is, she then explains to me in slowed speech(as if i'm 5) what brewed coffee is. I'll give the benefit of a doubt she misunderstood my question, but when i ask for lavender in the coffee she insists on giving me a lavender latte instead! Why are you going to suggest me a beverage that cost $3-4 more dollars when I clearly wanted a brewed coffee and not espresso! I am a barista and have been for many many years, never in my career have i suggested someone who is set on a brewed coffee (especially if i'm going to explain what brewed coffee is) a latte! They're polar opposite drinks with drastically different components and not only that but lattes are exceptionally more expensive! After that I pay $30 for a meal/cup of coffee that should be under $3 considering you only get 12oz of coffee and there's NO ICED WATER IN SIGHT. ONLY lukewarm in a tea pitcher with dentists sized spit cups for you to drink from. How am I supposed to eat a MEAL with a 4oz luke warm water cup...A paying customer should be more than entitled to a Glass cup WITH ICE or at least cold water. Cherry on top is they only have cocktail napkins. Do BETTER. It sucks because food/coffee was wonderful and I would be willing to pay more/visit again if service was better and essential items to eat a meal are comfortably available. I understand it's a coffee shop and the culture is relaxed versus a restaurant, however if i'm paying over $22 for a plate of food i expect restaurant SERVICE.

Pros: Attentive staff, great location, cute and cozy nook, plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, delicious and plenty of food options Cons: I can't think of any.Overall score: A+

Had lunch here with a friend, what a fun little place! The chai was delicious, and I really enjoyed the Colombian arepa. It was plenty filling and the plantain chips (small upcharge) were also good.They have seating outside, which is nice. You order inside, they'll give you a table number, and then bring your food out to you. The downside was that my food came out right away, and then my friend's took forever (I think close to 15 minutes after mine). We both ordered arepas and chai so it's not like her was extra complicated. My friend said that's unfortunately not uncommon. Overall, it's a solid place and I'd definitely go back.

My first visit to a CFS Coffee was in Oviedo just last month......I needed to meet a friend near Sanford/Lake Mary so I chose this place to meet. Loved it! The location was smaller than the Oviedo Location, but it had nice enough seating inside and the staff was friendly. I ordered a Late (which was Great!) and the Waffle breakfast sandwich (which was also great and a bit too big for me to eat in one sitting). The Waffle sandwich had an egg, bacon, & avocado. It was very tasty and was a perfect breakfast. The staff was very friendly and I ended up taking half of it hope to enjoy the following morning

Great food and presentation of dishes. Something for everyone including protein focused individuals. Friendly staff with a cute ambiance. Love the dishes and soothing music in the background!
