I'm slightly torn on this place. It's good, but definitely very overpriced for what you get. I came here with a friend who was on a diet, so we figured ceviche would be the healthiest option for us - she didn't want to watch me eat a burger and tempt her. They have 2 size options. I can't remember if it was a small/large option, or if it's 1/2 lb and 1 lb options, but the larger option of the 2 definitely seems like it's a lot more than double the smaller option.Everything is mixed onsite, so it takes awhile to get your food. The guac is freshly made. I watched him cut an avocado & mash it, but the ceviche I think was all premade, he just had to mix the protein with the lime juice, etc. I think we waited a little over 15 minutes for a large shrimp ceviche & guac to be made. We were the only ones that were in line.

I believe this is the same place that has a booth at the winter garden farmers market. Well my experience was not a good one. They lack customer service. they did not want to get up from sitting down to greet or see what we wanted to order. The big bald guy reluctantly got up to start our order. Not like they had a line of people at their booth... that should have been a sign.As service industry professionals you really need to want to service ALL people. I do not walk around thinking everything is about race but this felt very blatant. The woman then acted as if the order would take 10 mins, as if were suppose to walk away as they prepared our order. Well it only took 2 mins.. so why tell us 10? Then began talking about us in our faces.. well you should check to make sure people do not understand the language you speak 1st!

Whenever we are in Orlando to visit family, we end up at Plant Street Market on one of our nights there. It's such a great place to grab a few pints from the Crooked Can and grab some food at the various vendors in the market. There is something for everyone! We went by on a Sunday night recently for our last supper in FL. Ceviche Mix must be a recent addition (within the last year or so) because I have not seen them there before. I was excited to try them out since I LOVE ceviche!I ordered a small fish ceviche (tilapia) and I added octopus for an additional $4.95 at the recommendation of the lady who helped me. The ceviche comes in a small plastic container with attached lid (containers that you see bulk items in a grocery store) and it is topped with slices of avocado and they give you a bag of chips with it. The flavor was amazing, lot of citrus and seasoned perfectly with fresh fish and oh my, the octopus was SO SO tender! I had expressed to her my concerns of the octopus being possibly too chewy, especially since I have braces at the moment and she assured me that it was soft! She was right! I don't know how long they let the octopus marinate in the citrus, but that was some tender meat!It was a tag team at the counter, lady at the cash and the man prepping the ceviche. She was super friendly and made such a great recommendation. The only thing I would have to say is that the small container was super pricey. I completely understand that food costs are rising and it is seafood, and quality and fresh at that, so it's no fault of their own, but I could not justify eating that on a regular basis at that price! It was $12.95 for the small size, $4.95 for the octopus, I felt like if it's an add on, the size should have been increased (?) unless it means that the regular fish ceviche would have been less full/dense if I had not ordered the octopus. Also, I noticed that they charged me a hot sauce fee (that I never got) and with tax and tip of 18% (for it being a takeout counter), it was a grand total of $23.13. Yikes! My wallet did not like that. But they sure do has some really great stuff! Stay safe, Friends!

This is a really cool Ceviche spot. They offer just a few options but what they have is so good! We had the mix fish ceviche and an octopus ceviche and they both were very fresh and very good. We added a bit of hot sauce to it and it went over the top. In addition we also had an order of guacamole, chips and salsa. The guacamole was delicious. Freshly made. We truly enjoyed the food and will definitely stop there again.

The food is not fresh. I ordered a fish ceviche, and the fish was old. It was $14 for 8 oz. The servers were rude, they were gossiping while I try to make an order. It feels like a scam more than a restaurant. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE!

We wanted to try a few different places within plant st market since there were so many options. We ordered a small ceviche mix to go, but I didn't expect the serving to be so small for the price we paid of $12. Definitely overpriced for the amount we got. The taste was ok, it also came with a bag of chips.. we definitely got more chips served to us compared to the ceviche. Not sure id come back again for the price we paid.

Amazing and just what I was looking for. You know Florida - scorching hot and humid in the summer. So I was looking for something light and refreshing. We were at the farmers market and came inside the Plant Street Market to refresh and find a goodie. This one was my choice. We decided to sit at their bar and have our snacks and I picked the mixed ceviche with fish and shrimp. It was served with chips. I loved it so much!We loved sitting there while talking to the owners. They were very sweet and nice and funny. I have fallen in love with this area - Winter Garden. I definitely want to come back on a Saturday Farmers Market day again. Everything here was so nice and chill and perfect! Great ceviche here!!!!! Check it out!!!!

Stopped by while walking around the winter garden farmers market. It was delicious, taste was there.. it's just the portions are very very small for the price you pay. I understand shortage and the increase in price but I had a bag full of chips and no more ceviche. I would have liked more. I ordered a small, and it was about 14 bucks.

Was there to meet with a friend to celebrate my birthday. I had really high hopes for this lunch experience. I recommended it to my friend. The food flavor earns the star, the service took away four. I hope the owner reads this, as this is a very constructive review of our personal experience on 10/1 at 1:15pm. Again, the food met every expectation, and the guacamole was truly fresh and balanced in every flavor. We ordered the mix ceviche and the shrimp ceviche. Then asked for the salsa and chips. Was immediately told there was no salsa - and that's okay - but here is where it goes wrong. We asked for the side of guacamole then, as I pointed to menu for the 4 oz. side order. We also asked for 2 sodas - 1 regular Coke + a Diet Coke. I then walked back outside as my friend offered to pay. She was told, "$44 plus some change". She told me she did quick math in her head, and it didn't just add up. She questioned it, and was told what was charged. All prices seemed correct, except he said he was charging 8.95 for the guacamole. When she asked why, she was told that it was how guac was sold and would give a discount of a dollar ($1) for not having salsa. She said they debated back and forth as it still didn't add up, and he kept saying, "plus tax". She asked how? And that tax was 7% or so. He said, "that's how it is in the register". She said, ok whatever - and handed over her credit card, but only after stating, "please make sure I get a receipt". He then said that it was actually $42 and change, then charged. The items ordered:Mix - 12.95Shrimp ceviche - 11.95Side of guacamole - 3.95Two sodas - 5.00 (2.50 each)That's a total of $33.85 plus tax - so, about $36.22!!!When we looked at receipt outside, we were charged for a large order of guacamole + salsa (that wasn't there) for 9.95!!!! Why??? I tell my friend to go back inside and let him know, but she said that she would when he came out with food. 20 minutes go by (we're catching up) - NO FOOD. The whole place was not busy! She gets up to check, and there's our food - READY AND SITTING on top of their counter. Really? Couldn't step outside - 10 feet away mind you - to let us know our food is ready? To add insult to injury, she lets him know about the extra charge for guacamole, and he tries to tell her that it is correct on receipt because $9.95 is $8.95 including tax. What? She says, "I want to talk to manager"; whom he agrees to call. Whether he called or not, we will never know. As we waited outside eating our meal plus THREE bags of chips that she clearly paid for (sadly, what a waste of food), and drank our sodas; he comes outside and puts a DOLLAR ($1) on the table as he says, "here's your dollar" and walked away. It was so upsetting, as we chose to support a local business instead of going to a chain restaurant. Honestly, this is a very big opportunity for customer service and honesty training. On this day, with this employee- sad to say, it was a miss - even after the many opportunities to make right. Btw, while the regular Coke was fresh, the Diet Coke was not. It was flat, stale and tasteless. I'm so sorry... but this is as honest as it gets.

This is essentially a carry-out stall in the Plant Street Marketplace. We had the premium fish ceviche made with Mahi and an authentic leche de tigre and the octopus ceviche. The Mahi was excellent and the octopus would have benefited from more generous portions of protein. However, both dishes lacked typical ceviche carb accompaniments such as boiled hominy corn, sweet potatoes, roasted corn nuts or even thinly sliced fried plantains. Rather they just came with a bag of tortilla chips, which I found disappointingly unconventional. I was concerned that they were also selling tilapia ceviche. Ceviche should never be made from raw fresh-water fish for the same reason you never see sushi from fresh water proteins; it is a health risk. Overall the marinades were very good and the dishes flavorful, but I do think there's significant room to up their game if I were to come back.
