Cavallari Gourmet

LOVE Italian foods and it's so great this store is still here in Central Florida. Some time ago it was located in Lake Mary, but has since moved to Oviedo. Stopped in the over early evening for a classic Italian sub. The sub was big enough to share, but it was starving, so a whole one hit the spot. I have to say this, the choices for the Italian sub were perfect! For toppings I could include cherry peppers, banana peppers, and even black or green olives. What a phenomenal selection of sub toppings, and also their house made vinaigrette dressing! This is also a fully stocked Italian grocery to meet all your needs for making an Italian dish. I grabbed some jars of hot cherry peppers and whole Calabrian chilis in oil to take home. They also have deli style mini desserts. The service was fast and the selection is great. Please stop in here to keep this amazing Italian deli and grocery popping!

Descent selection, great wine choices. Customer service was atrocious and such a turn off. From the butcher, deli and cashier, all seemed like they would rather be anywhere but there

If you sous vide or smoke meat and appreciate quality then this is the place for you. The butchers actually know their product and are extremely helpful. This is where I grab my ribeyes, ny strips, picanha and filet mingnon when I really want to treat the wife and myself. The bone marrow butter aka "The Devils Butter" is absolutely amazing. I also love their macaroni salad since it has a heavy olive flavor and that is exactly how I had it growing up. They stay really active on instagram and facebook which is awesome since I like to see when they get in gourmet cuts like wagyu, regional black angus and delmonicos. Don't forget to stop by the grocery side where they have a delicious fresh dessert bar and tons of great soda and alcohol selections.

I really haven't tried enough here to be fair. I've tried two items and wasn't crazy about them but the Italian mix for oil is insanely good. Service is fine, it's a market, there really isn't an ambiance other than Italian. There's a lot to choose from and a huge deli counter so hopefully you find something you like.

Excellent subs but they are pricey especially for lunch without any chips or drink for a zesty Italian half for $9.59. It is a better deal to get a whole sub for $11.99 and have them wrap both half's individually and put the dressing on the side for one half. Fresh veggies to select from and a wide variety. Love their homemade vinaigrette. They have a huge selection of meats, kabobs, burgers, chicken and much more. It is located in a strip mall. Plenty of parking.I have this place 3 stars because a lot of their items they don't have prices. For example, the dessert case, cold soda drinks, cold beer, small chip bags and several other items in the food rack for sale by the register. The prices are mainly on the items in the butcher shop, deli items and pre made food. It would be nice to see what the item costs so you don't have a heart attack when you bring it to the register or they ring up desserts out of the dessert case especially during these trying times.

Cavallari Gourmet is your ideal Italian deli. Their deli menu is great. I've had the pleasure of trying their Zesty Italian and have been thoroughly impressed. Their selection of boars head deli meats are great and their sandwich service is above and beyond!I have also had the chance to try the Chicken Parmesan and the pastrami on rye. The chicken parmesan is not freshly made and is reheated. This affects the crispiness of the chicken but does not take away from the quality of the sauce that they make. The chicken parmesan still retains a lot of flavor and the sauce that Cavallari prepares is so flavorful. The pastrami on rye is a typical pastrami sandwich. There is nothing to boast about in terms of the sandwich aside from its freshness. If you are to try a sandwich, the zesty Italian should be your first choice! The combination of meats is a perfect pairing, not to mention that each sandwich is packed with lots of meat.I do have to shine a very bright light on Cavallari's small bakery section. Their assortment is amazing and on top of that the quality is beyond amazing. The key lime pie tart is amazing! Not overwhelmingly sour but still sweet and the tart crust is flaky and soft. Their tiramisu is amazing too! The lady fingers retain the distinct taste of coffee and the mousse is fluffy and a perfect pairing. The cannoli cake was good, yet disappointing, it was moist but I found the frosting to be a bit heavy, the cannoli itself was very good.Cavallari's assortment of craft sodas and beer are a delight as well and would definitely recommend grabbing one to pair perfectly with your sandwich if you get one!This is a GREAT place! Quality, service, and an overall fun time make this the ideal lunch spot on a Sunday afternoon!

When I am looking for delicious prepared meals, Cavallari's is my go-to choice for a healthy and delicious dinner. Their steaks are very fresh and tender, and the service is excellent. The atmosphere is welcoming and very easy to navigate. I definitely recommend this place!

Nice people but they can not communicate with each other. Mismanaged! Terrible! I did everything I was told to do to get the product and still they fell through. I gave them over a year to fix it. Still couldn't do it.

Reminds me of being home in Boston in the North End. We finally found our go to home away from home.

I always love a good neighborhood market!! Always an outstanding experience! The owner always goes above and beyond!!
